There are no allusions to its cultivation, only to its consumption. It is only from the time of the Roman settlements, after the conquest of Numancia (133 B.C.), and in particular after the Cantabrian wars, due to the establishment of forts; that the vine begins to be cultivated because wine was a part of the soldiers’ diet. We trace the history of wine through references found in written sources and epigraphy. We then consider the evidence from the mosaics and sculptures referring to the Greco-Roman gods connected with wine. We finally stress the influence of Christianity in its cultivation and development.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":89512,"journal":{"name":"Trastornos adictivos","volume":"13 1","pages":"Pages 20-29"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1016/S1575-0973(11)70005-8","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"56642345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A treatment of three sessions, based on an interactive design, was applied in order to modify the smoking habit. The program began by establishing the base line of the behaviour and introducing the treatment sessions later. The first session included an aversive technique (to retain the smoke) and a non aversive technique (gradual reduction of nicotine or GR). The second only included the GR, and third was similar to the first session. Finally, the program ends with a phase of monitoring. This programme was used in a participant of a 25 years old male. The obtained data indicates a significant decrease between the different phases and sessions; and shows that the aversive techniques can be more effective to reduce the short-term consumption and to influence the motivation and the autoefficiency.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":89512,"journal":{"name":"Trastornos adictivos","volume":"13 1","pages":"Pages 30-34"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1016/S1575-0973(11)70006-X","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"56642370","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
