CABERNET allows programmers to use a simple outline-based syntax. This allows increased programmer efficiency and syntax flexibility. CNLs have successfully been used for writing requirements documents. We propose taking this approach well beyond this to fully functional programs. Through the use of heuristics and inference to analyze and determine the programmer’s intent we are able to create fully functional mobile applications. The goal is for programs to be aligned with the way that the humans think rather than the way computers process information. Through the use of templates a CABERNET application can be processed to run on multiple run time environments. Because processing of a CABERNET program file results in native application program performance is maintained.

After decades of resistance from examiners and auditors, machine learning is now moving from the research desk to the application stack for credit scoring and a range of other applications in credit risk. This migration is not without novel risks and challenges. Much of the research is now shifting from how best to make the models to how best to use the models in a regulatory-compliant business context. \u0000 \u0000This article seeks to survey the impressively broad range of machine learning methods and application areas for credit risk. In the process of that survey, we create a taxonomy to think about how different machine learning components are matched to create specific algorithms. The reasons for where machine learning succeeds over simple linear methods is explored through a specific lending example. Throughout, we highlight open questions, ideas for improvements, and a framework for thinking about how to choose the best machine learning method for a specific problem.

This paper aims to examine the semiotic model for equivalence or non-equivalence in translation which attempts to define the semiotic model, to use the model for translation, and to offer the benefits of this model to solving translation’s problem in equivalence and non-equivalence. \u0000Methodology: The data of this research are derived from the novel Lelaki Harimau, as the source language and L'homme Tigre, as the target language. This model is used in the Indonesian novel which has been translated into 14 languages, one of which is in French. The authors use a semiotic approach to analyze the equivalence and non-equivalence in the translation. \u0000Main Findings: This study reveals that the concept of signified in the semiotic theory proposes two models: the first: translation using the same concept in the source text (ST) and target text (TT), which is broadly known as equivalence, the second: translation using different concept between ST and TT, this called non-equivalence. This article not only explores the issue of meaning contextually in translation, but also the use of the semiotic model in translation which shows that the language perspective depends on the relationship between the sign and the object. \u0000Applications of this study: The model for this study can be used not only in translation studies at universities but also in providing supporting data for applied linguistic studies. \u0000Novelty/Originality of this study: This study provides a novelty in translation research with a semiotic approach. The contribution of this study is that the semiotics perspective suggests that a sign in the concept level (signified) will not be universal due to different cultural backgrounds.

Typically, an electromyogram instrument is used to capture the EMG signals. These signals are used to monitor medical abnormalities, activation level, and also to analyze the biomechanics of any animal movements. In this current work, we provide a short review of EMG signal acquisition and processing techniques. We found that the average efficiency to capture EMG signals with the current technologies is around 70 %. Once the signal is captured, the signal processing algorithms applied decides the recognition accuracy, with which signals are decoded for their corresponding purpose (e.g. moving robotic arm, speech recognition, gait analysis, etc). The recognition accuracy can go as high as 99.8 %. The accuracy with which the EMG signal is decoded has already crossed 99 %, and with the upcoming deep learning technology, there is a scope of improvement to design hardware, that can efficiently capture EMG signals.

This issue is relevant to other technical systems as well. This work addresses the orthogonal Laguerre filtration of noise processes, which are described by the linear random processes. The proposed method of filtration makes it possible to reduce the influence of noise interference, which is described by the stationary linear random processes, in the operation of correlation systems. The essence of this method implies the use of orthogonal Laguerre filters as the input links of the correlation system. The sequence of the noise processes, which are uncorrelated over a significant time interval of their mutual shift, has been derived on the basis of orthogonal Laguerre filtration of the stationary white noise. Such processes are described by the stationary linear random processes and are the models of a wide range of noise interference, which are explored in the operation of various technical systems, including control, detection, recognition, measurement systems, etc. The application of this method decreases the effect of noise interference with different correlation-spectral characteristics and increases the SNR at the output from the correlation system. Practical tasks on reducing the action of stationary noise interference have been solved within the framework of the proposed adaptive method of orthogonal Laguerre filtration; to this end, the article shows a structural-logical scheme of the correlation system. Using the software, the algorithm of the adaptive filtration based on the complex Laguerre filters has been implemented. The implementation has been carried out for an actual noise interference that belongs to the RLC class of noise, employing the pre-training of the filter. The effectiveness of reducing the impact of the predefined stationary noise interference has been confirmed by the derived efficiency coefficients the size of –6 dB and –16 dB for the set of the interference zeroing points

The unique advantage is ferroelectric polarization becomes more robust than the traditional perovskite ferroelectrics as the size is reduced. Understanding and controlling the ferroelectricity requires high-quality epitaxial thin films to explore intrinsic ferroelectric mechanism and evaluate device applications. Here, we report a semicoherent growth of ITO as a bottom electrode that enables genuine ultrathin epitaxial films of Si-doped HfO2 on YSZ[001]/[110]/[111] substrates. The films, which are under epitaxial compressive strain, display large ferroelectric polarization values up to 42 μC/cm2 and do not need wake-up cycling. Structural characterization reveals the presence of crystalline domains with short axis of the tetragonal structure oriented perpendicular to the substrate. Using piezoforce microscopy, polar domains can be written and read and are reversibly switched with a phase change of 180o. Ferroelectric polarization can be controlled by ITO surface polarity which easily exploiting the interfacial valance mismatch to influence the electrostatic potential across the interface. These findings have implications for our understanding of ferroelectric switching and offer easy method to manipulate domain reversal state in HfO2-based ferroelectric materials.

The need of developing an automated checking system is felt because of signature forgery in various transactions. The dynamic signature is a biometric trait that is used in identification. Automatic signature verification is an application of Image Processing. The aim of the model is to identify the correct signature for reducing fraudulent transactions. It is difficult to have multiple signatures of the same person so the idea is to duplicate a given signature number of times by inducing variations and using verifiers to give a similarity. For duplication of signature, the approach of using the Cognitive Inspired Model is used. The approach for creating human-like signatures can be done by introducing Intra-Component and Inter-Component variability.
