To adapt the tribological conditions in the contact area between chip and tool, the chip surfaces are provided with microstructures parallel to the peripheral cutting edge. In addition, a new type of coating composite consisting of a hard and a soft material is applied to the carbide substrate. By eliminating the need for cooling lubricant, the new development results in reduced environmental and health impacts as well as financial advantages. This article deals with the development and evaluation of an FEM model for the dimensioning of the microstructures and provides insights into first experimental results.","PeriodicalId":89291,"journal":{"name":"The open conference proceedings journal","volume":"52 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79397671","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In such simulations it is possible to describe the complex material behavior of sands with the hypoplastic constitutive model. Despite the enormous influence of the material parameters on the calculation results, the parameterization of sands for the hypoplastic model has not been uniformly regulated so far. In this paper, different parameterization approaches are tested on a sand and their simulation results are compared. Subsequently, a proposal for the standardization of the parameterization of sands for the hypoplastic constitutive model is derived.","PeriodicalId":89291,"journal":{"name":"The open conference proceedings journal","volume":"99 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87542013","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In May 2021, 103 care workers from stationary facilities were surveyed using the BSCL, the ERI and the BGW questionnaire. 35% of nurses showed psychological distress and had fewer structural and human resources than the ERI comparison sample. Significant differences in workloads and resources were evident between trainees and trainers in different nursing practice areas. The study results suggest a need for action to provide mental health support and point to more specific adaptation of preventive measures.","PeriodicalId":89291,"journal":{"name":"The open conference proceedings journal","volume":"56 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84777744","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The increasing technical possibilities are changing the necessary competences required of physicians in the direction of digitalisation. Therefore, in personnel recruitment, digital competences should already be considered in job advertisements in order to be able to cope with the future challenges. This paper investigates to what extent a) digital competences have already found their way into the job profiles of physicians on the market and b) whether these can be meaningfully extracted through a data-driven methodological approach. For this purpose, 1707 job advertisements are evaluated using Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA). The different methodological approaches within the LSA show that there is hardly any focus on digital competences in the health sector in job advertisements.","PeriodicalId":89291,"journal":{"name":"The open conference proceedings journal","volume":"15 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81501882","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After these have been applied, rubber is molded onto the metallic base bodies by rubber injection molding. In (very) small batches, the adhesion promoter can be applied in precise volumes by hand using a fluid dispenser. However, this prevents homogeneity and uniformity of the layer thickness, which can cause variation in the reliability and strength of adhesion. As a technical solution, a pipetting robot has been envisaged. With the aid of several mechanical and electrical adaptations - including a new control technology - various fluid dispensers were integrated on 3-axis portal milling machines. Thus, full functionality could be achieved.","PeriodicalId":89291,"journal":{"name":"The open conference proceedings journal","volume":"80 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76470130","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This significantly counteracts the effectiveness of costly energy efficiency measures and programs. This is countered by sufficiency of use concepts, which can contribute to reactivating and increasing the intensity of use of existing properties and avoiding new construction. They represent an important instrument for reducing land consumption and achieving climate neutrality in the building sector. The paper presents results of a research project that investigates the potential of sufficiency concepts for rural and small-town areas. This includes, among other things, survey results on the acceptance of sufficiency measures in the field of housing in a small town in Saxony.","PeriodicalId":89291,"journal":{"name":"The open conference proceedings journal","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86437609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As each variant includes individual features and interactions, ensuring data security becomes increasingly challenging. However, we are missing an analysis of research on security and configurable storages in Industry 4.0, especially those based on product-line engineering. To address this gap, we conducted a literature study covering relevant state-of-the-art publications (2013–2022). Overall, security for configurable systems seems under-explored. We highlighted that security standards and concrete mitigations techniques are usually not considered. In addition, we are missing an analysis of configurable storage and software systems in concert to identify threats, risks, and vulnerabilities caused by variability.","PeriodicalId":89291,"journal":{"name":"The open conference proceedings journal","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79652205","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thereby, imparted knowledge about the blockchain should become tangible for users. Based on the research of existing concepts, different ideas were developed and their use was tested. In the process, the specifics of the e-learning sector as well as those of blockchain technology are considered. Combining tokenization, e-learning, and gamification, a token model was finally developed, which is technically based on a smart contract of the Ethereum Blockchain. The model includes tokens that users can collect and exchange for badges. The badges are in turn represented as NFTs.","PeriodicalId":89291,"journal":{"name":"The open conference proceedings journal","volume":"13 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88801107","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To meet the legal requirements and save costs and time, a portable analysis method is to be developed. For this purpose, a concept study was conducted. It describes a portable measuring device for the quantitative detection of legionella using real-time PCR. The study includes the construction elements and conditions that are necessary for the collection, processing, and evaluation of the sample. It was found that commercially available PCR systems do not meet the size requirements and can only be represented by an in-house development. In addition, a microfluidic system must be developed that is designed for one-time use and low production cost.","PeriodicalId":89291,"journal":{"name":"The open conference proceedings journal","volume":"37 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89239976","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
