It enters a dialogue with the study Kryptokoloniale landskaber: tid, sted og rum i billeder af islandsk landskab 1874–2011 by Ann-Sofie Nielsen Gremaud, with a concurrent focus on Icelandic landscape painting of the period 1874–1944 and its relation to Danish art. The Nordic, and especially the Icelandic art was routinely overlooked in the European artistic and historical narration, including the Polish scholarly environment, but it is well worthy of a closer scrutiny. Two fundamental assumptions that define the analysis presented herein are that the modern national art of Iceland derives from the Academic tradition in Denmark and that, concurrently, Icelandic artists participated in the process of developing national identity in opposition to the Danish model. In order to find confirmation for the posed theses, methodologies close to post-colonialism and crypto-colonialism have been used, as well as ones inspired by imagology and based on interdisciplinary research in the fields of art history, history, anthropology and cultural studies.","PeriodicalId":88398,"journal":{"name":"Biuletyn historii sztuki","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41821528","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Il fondo è costituito dalla documentazione – perlopiù inedita – prodotta dal Servizio Tecnico, nato nel 1993 come Commissione, voluta dal Ministro Alberto Ronchey, con l’obiettivo di censire i beni culturali concessi in deposito esterno dai musei del demanio ad enti in Italia e all’estero. Nel 1995 la Commissione fu trasformata in Servizio alle dirette dipendenze del Segretariato Generale del Ministero stesso ma nel 2003 venne sospeso. Ben ventuno anni fa fu effettuata l’ultima ricognizione patrimoniale presso l’Ambasciata d’Italia a Varsavia e da allora più nessun controllo è stato fatto. Pertanto, questo lavoro, oltre ad analizzare la storia delle opere d’arte scelte per arredare l’Ambasciata fin dal 1922, ne aggiorna i dati e dà nuove interpretazioni sulle vicende che, sia prima che dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, portarono al suo arredamento; inoltre, vuole essere uno spunto di riflessione sulla tutela di quel patrimonio artistico italiano che ancora oggi, fin dai primi decenni del secolo scorso, si trova in deposito esterno senza i dovuti controlli.","PeriodicalId":88398,"journal":{"name":"Biuletyn historii sztuki","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41490436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research addresses two aspects of the diptych: the controversy of its attribution to a circle of Albrecht Bouts or his follower and the diptych’s arrival at the Provincial Museum of Pontevedra. This study explains that this diptych’s former attributions cannot be supported due to his style and the new research about Bout’s workshop practices. Finally, it gathers all the documentary sources about its arrival at the Pontevedra Museum.","PeriodicalId":88398,"journal":{"name":"Biuletyn historii sztuki","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47498694","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Punktem wyjścia rozważań autorki stanowi wystawa Elie Nadelman – polski prekursor Art Déco w warszawskiej Wejman Gallery (2022). Ekspozycja przypomniała nie tylko postać rzeźbiarza, ale także promotora jego twórczości działającego we Francji, a pochodzącego z Tarnowa krytyka sztuki oraz marszanda Adolfa Baslera, który odegrał niezwykle ważną rolę w zaznajomieniu publiczności polskiej, francuskiej i niemieckiej ze sztuką Nadelmana. Artykuł stanowi więc próbę nowego przedstawienia architektury kościoła w genetycznym kontekście czternastowiecznego budownictwa Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej. Przeprowadzone ostatnio prace konserwatorskie pozwalają na zrewidowanie istniejących teorii dotyczących etapów powstawania świątyni. Wiele wskazuje na to, że już około 1350 r., z fundacji Kazimierza Wielkiego, rozpoczęto wznoszenie halowego korpusu, który ukończono około roku 1370. Następnie przystąpiono do nadbudowy i przesklepienia prostokątnego chóru z 2. połowy XIII w., a konsekracji świątyni dokonał w 1382 r. biskup krakowski Jan z Radliczyc. W kolejnych latach rozebrano wschodnią ścianę prezbiterium, zastępując ją poligonalną apsydą. Każda z naw kościoła była oryginalnie nakryta osobnym dachem dwuspadowym. Najbliżej spokrewniony z kolegiatą jest halowy korpus katedry w Ołomuńcu, a wzór dla rozety z fasady zachodniej stanowi maswerk z transeptu kościoła Cystersów w Zlatej Korunie.","PeriodicalId":88398,"journal":{"name":"Biuletyn historii sztuki","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42566068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
