Used vehicle sales are increasing globally as a result of rising new car prices and people’s unwillingness to afford them. This strategy is successful since the vendor often sets the price impulsively and the buyer normally isn’t aware of all the features and the car’s market value. According to research, figuring out a used car’s fair market value is both difficult and important. Consequently, it is necessary to create a precise method for estimating used automobile cost. In this case, machine learning prediction approaches could be helpful. The model has to be trained on the massive dataset using techniques like random forest and decision tree before it can be used. Our primary objective is to develop a model that, given the information provided by the client, can accurately and dependably anticipate the selling price of a used car. In this project, our team designed a stunning User Interface (UI) that asks customers for comments and provides pricing estimates. The database stores both the user inputs and the predicted cost of the automobile.","PeriodicalId":8524,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Engineering and Applied Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77833457","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Tourism the name itself has a peace and for most of the countries and peoples it is the major source of income or we say functioning. What happen if we sync these two with each other and we can refer it as Smart Tourism by implementing AR-VR. With that note we proposed a model regarding the smart view of tourist spot which will generate more curiosity to know that place by visiting them in personally. Reason behind it is that humans have psychology that regard of just viewing images or listening if we experience any incident by our own we get more fascinated towards it and also keep it remembered for longer period of time. So, here when tourists view locations using AR-VR they feel like they are present at that location, it also helps them to decide whether to visit in real or not. It is cost effective also as user saves a lot by not visiting if place is not of their interest. It also helps to cover all the spots that are even not so famous of specific locations which is not covered in Itinerary provided by most of the tour operators. As tourist will enjoy this and also their expectations and curiosity will increases to visit there, this will boost tourism industry and will become very helpful for locals and others depending on this sector.","PeriodicalId":8524,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Engineering and Applied Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90109537","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Together, they achieve world-class stability, reliability, availability, and security while conducting multiple number of code deployments each day. This enables the quick progress of planned work into creation.  The testing of apps and InfoSec operations only take place at the conclusion of a project when it is too late to make any corrections. Development and IT Operations are adversaries in our environment. If any problems are found, and nearly every important task requires excessive amounts of backbreaking labour and handoffs, keeping us waiting all the while. The work quality, particularly the deployment of product, is challenging and disordered as a result, which has an adverse effect on customers and the business. This not only adds to the extraordinarily long lead times for getting anything done. As a result, there is lack of goals, and the whole company is dissatisfied with developers’ performance, which leads to decrement in budget and frustrated workers feel incapable to modify the scenario and its results. The major objective is to build a platform for developers that can compile, test and run the application with the least specifications and configurations and also conceptualize the piece of deployment with a more relaxed architecture and a small learning period so that developers can take full advantage of multiple platforms available as a cloud service without any inconvenience.","PeriodicalId":8524,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Engineering and Applied Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77363412","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The RMG industry has become the lifeline of the economy of Bangladesh. However, this industry faces several significant obstacles to its continued, sustainable expansion. The trading climate has become very competitive because of the phase-out of the export quota system. Additionally, with today’s rapid fashion, consumers want items with short lead times and affordable prices. Adopting the lean methodology across the board in the garment business is essential for long-term sustainability in this cutthroat context. Lean manufacturing is a philosophy to deliver the finest goods on time with minimum endeavor and less price. Lean manufacturing aims to cut lead times and remove wastes that don’t impose value on products. The purpose of this research is to identify wastes and to reduce manufacturing lead time by eliminating or reducing the excess tasks that cause higher lead time by implementing lean concepts. But implementing lean philosophy is a difficult task. During the visit to the selected RMG factory, the Short Sleeve T-shirt, one of their products, was selected for conducting this research. All the processes were observed required for the transformation of raw materials into a finished T-shirt. During the observations, the methodology of time study was applied to collect the data. Necessary information was gathered by observing the processes and interacting with the executives. Then, the current state of the value stream mapping was drawn. Wastes, responsible for a longer time, were ranked by taking the help of an 80-20 rules diagram. After this, root cause analysis was performed to find the reasons for the unwanted time consumption. Improvement strategies were introduced to reduce waste. Lean tools like Kanban to reduce WIP, Single Minute Exchange of Die to reduce changeover time, and Total Productive Maintenance to reduce machine breakdown were used to minimize the waste. Based on improvement strategies, The value stream mapping’s future state was illustrated, showing the refinement where total manufacturing lead time was reduced by 61.20%. Finally, this research has suggested some recommendations to the management of the selected RMG factory to minimize waste and increase efficiency and reduce waste in the operations. This research illustrates the usual conditions of the RMG industry of Bangladesh by presenting the current state of the value stream. The Bangladeshi clothing sector must completely embrace lean principles and embark on the direction of sustainable growth.","PeriodicalId":8524,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Engineering and Applied Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86148451","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in the current business environment, like every other country all over the world, this sector also faces some troubles related to resource constraints like time, cost, materials, etc. So, to ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of the RMG industries of Bangladesh, productivity improvement becomes the key factor. For this reason, this research aims to measure and improve the productivity of other performances of a sewing line of a selected RMG industry. This study uses time study, expert opinions, and the line-balancing method. This research finds that before improvement in the line efficiency, total idle time, and the number of workstations is 43.04%, 9.401 minutes per cycle, and 19 respectively. But after improvement in the line efficiency, total idle time and number of workstations become 81.78%, 1.6087 minutes per cycle, and 10 respectively. Thus, the findings of this research prove that implementing a line-balancing strategy in the sewing section of RMG industries can boost productivity. So, this research can be useful for other RMG industries for future implementation.","PeriodicalId":8524,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Engineering and Applied Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90376699","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, a structural response review was also carried out based on a comparison of the effects of the ground motion and sine wave earthquake forces. This study used an experimental method of modelling an apartment building with a scale of 1: 50. The case study was located in Mantrijeron, Yogyakarta, which has a seismic category in the medium-size class. The analysis phase began with material definition, element dimension estimation, modelling by analysis software, loading estimation, structural analysis, and comparison of structural responses based on the deviation. The results indicate that the building model could withstand dynamic loads from harmonic waves up to a frequency of 5.5 Hz for one minute of vibration. The most significant deviation is shown at a frequency of 4.5 Hz with an x-axis direction of 0.110 and a y-direction of 0.160. The structural response resulting from ground motion loading shows that the highest deviation occurred due to the influence of the Kobe earthquake, with a deviation of 0.063 in the x-axis direction and 0.054 in the y-axis direction. Based on these results, the effect of harmonic sine waves is greater than the ground motion loading on the response of the building structure, so it is used as an experimental loading through a vibrating table with the actual residual deviation results showing a value of 0.9 mm in the y-axis direction. The difference in structural response results could be caused by the supports and connections modelling in planning through analysis software which could not precisely represent the actual implementation of the building model.","PeriodicalId":8524,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Engineering and Applied Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82496910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Char briquettes are one of the alternative energies for daily needs. This study used char from palm shell and LDPE microwave-assisted co-pyrolysis at 450 Watts. The briquettes were made from the product of co-pyrolysis of palm shell and Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) with variations in the composition of 0:100, 50:50, and 100:0 and pressure of 50 kg/cm2, 100 kg/cm2, 150 kg/cm2, and 200 kg/cm2. In this research, thermogravimetry analysis (TGA) was the method used to determine combustion characteristics. This study aimed to determine the combustion characteristics, including the Initiation Temperature of Fixed Carbon (ITFC), Initiation Temperature of Volatile Matter (ITVM), Peak of weight loss rate Temperature (PT), Activation Energy (Ea), and Mass Loss Rate (MLR). The results showed that the increased briquettes pressure increases the ITVM, ITFC, PT, and EA.
