We show that the $Dbar{D}K$ system can bind with quantum numbers $I(J^P)=frac{1}{2}(0^-)$ and a binding energy of $B_3(Dbar{D}K)=48.9^{+1.4}_{-2.4}$ MeV. It can decay into $J/psi K$ and $D_sbar{D}^*$ via triangle diagrams, yielding a partial decay width of about 1 MeV. As a result, if discovered, it will serve as a highly nontrivial check on the nature of the many exotic hadrons discovered so far and on non-perturbative QCD as well. Assuming heavy quark spin symmetry, the same formalism is applied to study the $Dbar{D}^*K$ system, which is shown to also bind with quantum numbers $I(J^P)=frac{1}{2}(1^-)$ and a binding energy of $B_3(Dbar{D}^*K)simeq 77.3^{+3.1}_{-6.6}$ MeV, consistent with the results of previous works.","PeriodicalId":8457,"journal":{"name":"arXiv: High Energy Physics - Phenomenology","volume":"58 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79866059","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both the inner-bremsstrahlung and the structure- (and model-)dependent contributions are considered. In the $ell=e$ case, structure-dependent effects are $mathcal{O}(1%)$ in the decay rate, yielding a clean prediction of its branching ratio, $2.3times10^{-5}$, measurable with BaBar or Belle(-II) data. For $ell=mu$, both contributions have similar magnitude and we get a branching fraction of $(1.6pm0.3)times10^{-7}$, reachable by the end of Belle-II operation. These decays allow to study the dynamics of strong interactions with simultaneous weak and electromagnetic probes; their knowledge will contribute to reducing backgrounds in lepton flavor/number violating searches.","PeriodicalId":8457,"journal":{"name":"arXiv: High Energy Physics - Phenomenology","volume":"28 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87145030","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So far there is no unambiguous experimental evidence for the odderon, the charge conjugation $C = -1$ counterpart of the $C = +1$ pomeron. Recently proposed tensor-pomeron and vector-odderon model for soft high-energy reactions is applied. For the $p p to p p phi$ reaction at high energies the photon-pomeron fusion is the dominant process and the odderon-pomeron fusion is an interesting alternative. Adding odderon exchange improves considerably description of the proton-proton angular correlations measured by the WA102 collaboration. The $p p to p p phi phi$ process via pomeron-pomeron fusion is advantageous one as here the odderon does not couple to protons. The observation of large $M_{phi phi}$ and the rapidity difference $Y_{phi phi}$ seems well suited to identify odderon exchange. Comparisons with data from the WA102 experiment are made and predictions for LHC experiments are given.","PeriodicalId":8457,"journal":{"name":"arXiv: High Energy Physics - Phenomenology","volume":"10 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91035841","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

EWIMPs are probed at hadron collider experiments not only by observing their direct productions but also by measuring their quantum effects on Drell-Yan processes for SM lepton pair productions. Such effects are known to be enhanced especially when the di-lepton invariant mass of the final state is close to the EWIMP threshold, namely twice the EWIMP mass. In such a mass region, however, we have to carefully take non-perturbative effects into account, because the EWIMPs become non-relativistic and the prediction may be significantly affected by e.g., bound states of the EWIMPs caused by the electroweak interaction. We study such non-perturbative effects using the non-relativistic effective field theory of the EWIMPs, and found that those indeed affect the differential cross section of the Drell-Yan processes significantly, though the effects are smeared due to the finite energy resolution of the lepton measurement at the Large Hadron Collider experiment.","PeriodicalId":8457,"journal":{"name":"arXiv: High Energy Physics - Phenomenology","volume":"28 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81006498","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We define the latter as properly selected sub-ensemble of events associated with the grand canonical ensemble which is characterized by a constant temperature and a harmonic-trap chemical potential. The merits of this toy-model are that it can be solved exactly, and that it demonstrates some interesting features revealed recently in small systems created in $p+p$ collisions at the LHC. We find that partial coherence can be observed in particles emission from completely thermal ensemble of events if instead of inclusive measurements one studies the two-boson distribution functions related to the events with particle numbers selected in some fixed multiplicity bins. The corresponding coherence effects increase with the multiplicity.","PeriodicalId":8457,"journal":{"name":"arXiv: High Energy Physics - Phenomenology","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77290925","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main developments and the state-of-the-art of the field are summarized. These encompass measurements of the inclusive inelastic proton and nuclear cross sections, advances in the description of the proton and nuclear density profiles and their fluctuations, inclusion of subnucleonic degrees of freedom, experimental procedures and issues related to the determination of the collision centrality, validation of the binary scaling prescription for hard scattering cross sections, and constraints on transport properties of quark-gluon matter from varying initial-state conditions in relativistic hydrodynamics calculations. These advances confirm the validity and usefulness of the Glauber formalism for quantitative studies of QCD matter produced in collisions of systems, from protons to uranium, of vastly different size.","PeriodicalId":8457,"journal":{"name":"arXiv: High Energy Physics - Phenomenology","volume":"39 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90899361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
