JUNO is going to provide the most precise measurements of solar neutrino oscillation parameters as well as determining the neutrino mass ordering. We study how the results of JUNO combined with those of long-baseline neutrino experiments such as DUNE and T2HK can help to determine oscillation parameters and to constrain NSI parameters. We present excluded regions in NSI parameter space, $epsilon_{alpha beta}$ assuming Standard Model (SM) as the null hypothesis. We further explore the correlations between the NSI parameters and CP-violation phase.","PeriodicalId":8457,"journal":{"name":"arXiv: High Energy Physics - Phenomenology","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76477452","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The light-front wave functions of the physical electron are obtained from the eigenvectors of the light-front QED Hamiltonian. We evaluate the TMDs using the overlaps of the light-front wave functions. The BLFQ results are found to be in excellent agreement with those TMDs calculated using lowest-order perturbation theory.","PeriodicalId":8457,"journal":{"name":"arXiv: High Energy Physics - Phenomenology","volume":"7 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79749328","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Setting both the renormalization and NRQCD factorization scales to be $m_Q$, we obtain $Gamma(J/psito {rm LH})= 0.0716frac{alpha_s^3}{m_c^2} langle mathcal{O}_1({}^3S_1)rangle_{J/psi} [1-1.19alpha_s+(-5.32+3.03alpha_s)langle v^2rangle_{J/psi}]$ and $Gamma(Upsilonto {rm LH})= 0.0716frac{alpha_s^3}{m_b^2}langlemathcal{O}_1({}^3S_1)rangle_{Upsilon}[1-1.56alpha_s+(-5.32+4.61alpha_s)langle v^2rangle_{Upsilon}]$. We confirm the previous calculation of $mathcal{O}(alpha_s)$ corrections on a diagram-by-diagram basis, with the accuracy significantly improved. For $J/psi$ hadronic decay, we find that the ${mathcal O}(alpha_sv^2)$ corrections are moderate and positive, nevertheless unable to counterbalance the huge negative corrections. On the other hand, the effect of ${mathcal O}(alpha_sv^2)$ corrections for $Upsilon(nS)$ is sensitive to the $mathcal{O}(v^2)$ NRQCD matrix elements. With the appropriate choice of the NRQCD matrix elements, our theoretical predictions for the decay rates may be consistent with the experimental data for $Upsilon(1S,2S)to {rm LH}$. As a byproduct, we also present the theoretical predictions for the branching ratio of $J/psi(Upsilon)to 3gamma$ accurate up to $mathcal{O}(alpha_s v^2)$.","PeriodicalId":8457,"journal":{"name":"arXiv: High Energy Physics - Phenomenology","volume":"48 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80615958","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the scalar mass is radiatively unstable, a special explanation is required to make it much smaller than the UV scale. There are two well-known mechanisms for the origin of scalar mass. The scalar can be identified as a pseudo-Goldstone boson, whose shift symmetry is explicitly broken by non-perturbative corrections, like the axion. Alternatively, it can be identified as a composite particle like the glueball, whose mass is limited by the confinement scale of the theory. In both cases, the scalar can be naturally light, but interaction behavior is quite different. The lighter the axion (glueball) mass is, the weaker (stronger) the interaction strength is. We consider the dark axion whose shift symmetry is anomalously broken by the hidden non-abelian gauge symmetry. After the confinement of the gauge group, the dark axion and the dark glueball get masses and both form multicomponent dark matter. We carefully consider the effects of energy flow from the dark gluons to the dark axions and derive the full equations of motion for the background and the perturbed variables. The effect of the dark axion-dark gluon coupling on the evolution of the entropy and the isocurvature perturbations is also clarified. Finally, we discuss the gravo-thermal collapse of the glueball subcomponent dark matter after the halos form, in order to explore the potential to contribute to the formation of seeds for the supermassive black holes observed at high redshifts. With simplified assumptions, the glueball subcomponent dark matter with the mass of $sim 0.01-1{rm MeV}$, and the axion dark matter with the GUT scale decay constant (the mass of ${cal O}(10^{-18}),{rm eV}$) can provide the hint on the origin of the supermassive black holes at high redshifts.","PeriodicalId":8457,"journal":{"name":"arXiv: High Energy Physics - Phenomenology","volume":"69 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85818198","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We calculate the baryon,the electric charge and the strangeness susceptibilities within the ambit of hadron resonance gas model extended to include the short range repulsive interactions.The repulsive interactions are included through a mean-field approach where the single particle energy gets modified due to mean field interactions between hadrons proportional to the number density of hadrons.We assume different mean-field interactions for mesons and baryons. It is shown that the repulsive interactions play a very crucial role to describe hadronic matter near transition temperature. We also show that in order to consistently describe higher order conserved charge fluctuations mesonic repulsive interactions cannot be neglected. Further, we demonstrate that the repulsive interaction of baryons are essential to describe the lattice simulation results at finite baryonchemical potential for higher order fluctuations.","PeriodicalId":8457,"journal":{"name":"arXiv: High Energy Physics - Phenomenology","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89800728","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A multiphase transport (AMPT) model is employed to simulate the initial structure of collision nuclei and the proceeding collisions at center of mass energy $sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 6.37 TeV. This initial structure can finally be reflected in the subsequent observations, such as elliptic flow ($v_{2}$), triangular flow ($v_{3}$) and quadrangular flow ($v_4$). Three sets of the collision systems are chosen to illustrate system scan is a good way to identify the exotic $alpha$-clustered nuclear structure, case I: $mathrm{^{16}O}$ nucleus (with or without $alpha$-cluster) + ordinary nuclei (always in Woods-Saxon distribution) in most central collisions, case II: $mathrm{^{16}O}$ nucleus (with or without $alpha$-cluster) + $mathrm{^{197}Au}$ nucleus collisions for centrality dependence, and case III: symmetric collision systems (namely, $^{10}$B + $^{10}$B, $^{12}$C + $^{12}$C, $^{16}$O + $^{16}$O (with or without $alpha$-cluster), $^{20}$Ne + $^{20}$Ne, and $^{40}$Ca + $^{40}$Ca) in most central collisions.
