The researchers suggested a number of methods to\u0000resolve this problem, but the criteria and actual performance are\u0000still inadequate. A statistical pattern recognition approach for\u0000solving this problem is proposed in this project.Convolutionary\u0000Neural Network (ConvNet / CNN), a Deep Learning algorithm, is\u0000used as an extractor of features in the proposed solution. In this study, the proximate\u0000composition of three species of minor millets, namely, Barnyard\u0000millet (Echinochloa frumentacea),Finger millet (Eleusine\u0000coracana) and Foxtail millet(Setaria italica), grown in traditional\u0000millet cultivating regions (cold semi-arid) of the Himalayan\u0000range, have been analyzed. Two high altitude locations of\u0000contrasting cold temperatures in this region were selected for\u0000analysis. Dehradun which exhibits a temperature of 25-27℃, is\u0000located at 640 masl. (Meters Above Sea Level) in Uttarakhand\u0000West (UW), whereas, the second location, Pithoragarh which\u0000exhibits a temperature of 15-17℃ is located at 1514 masl. in\u0000Uttarakhand East (UE). The results of this study record a 30.75\u0000percent increase in average protein content of Barnyard millet\u0000grains when the same seed stock was grown at the second region\u0000of lower temperature, i.e. Pithoragarh (15-17℃), as compared to\u0000Dehradun (15-17℃). A 42.66 percent increase in average fat\u0000content was also recorded for Barnyard millet grains when\u0000grown at Pithoragarh (15-17℃). The two other millet species,\u0000Finger millet and Foxtail millet, did not record significant\u0000differences in protein and fat contents, however, Foxtail millet\u0000displayed marginally increased levels of sodium and potassium.\u0000In contrast to the other components analyzed, Total Dietary Fiber\u0000(TDF) was found to decrease with growth at the comparatively\u0000colder location of Pithoragarh. A 36.71 percent decrease in TDF\u0000content was recorded for Barnyard millet, whereas, a 19.25\u0000percent decrease was recorded for Finger millet. Foxtail millet\u0000displayed a marginal decrease of only 5.3 percent in TDF content\u0000with growth at Pithoragarh. Starch concentration and moisture\u0000content for all three species was also studied, but did not record\u0000any notable differences due to growth at the colder location of\u0000Pithoragarh. The results here indicate an important role of cold\u0000temperature and high altitude in regulating the proximate\u0000composition of minor millet grains. Studies which explore the\u0000proximate composition of millet cultivars in such geographically\u0000and environmentally distinct millet growing regions, may reveal\u0000new information regarding the nutritional importance of minor\u0000millets, and the ideal conditions of growth for maximum\u0000nutritional benefit.
Pharmeuropa.
