The development of adaptation and restructuring of motor actions of schoolchildren using a coordination ladder in physical education lessons. The study was conducted based on the ordinary school of the city of Kirov in Russia. The study involved children aged 8-9 years. The children in the control group studied according to the standard program, and the children from the control group additionally performed exercises on the coordination ladder. The students attended physical education classes 2 times a week, each lesson lasted 40 minutes. A total of 72 lessons were in each group. The ability to adapt and rebuild motor actions was determined using the \"Game of Blunders\" test. Statistical processing was carried out with the T-Student program. After the end of the pedagogical experiment, the indicators of children in the control group improved by 11.9% (p>0.05), the positive dynamics can be explained by a natural increase in coordination abilities at the age of 8-9 years and the effectiveness of using the standard physical education program in Russian schools. The indicators of children in the experimental group improved by 52.4% (p<0.05). Such results can be explained by the effectiveness of the implementation of a set of exercises using a coordination ladder in physical education lessons. The indicators of adapt and rebuild motor actions will significantly improve if children aged 8-9 perform a set of physical exercises on the coordination ladder during physical education lessons.","PeriodicalId":8308,"journal":{"name":"Archives Of Pharmacy Practice","volume":"25 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74652283","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The screening criteria for ROP were infants born with less than 32 weeks gestational period and/or weighed less than 1500 grams or unstable clinical course. After ethical approval from the Institutional Review Board, this retrospective study was conducted. The study considered 1315 infants and an observation was made that 36/42 (85.7%) eyes showed regression of ROP in the IVR group whereas 27/27 (100%) eyes that were treated with laser therapy showed regression of ROP (p=0.09). A considerable discrepancy in habituation of ROP in both groups with 12 eyes (28.6%) has been noted which is showing recurrence of ROP in the IVR group compared to 1 eye (3.7%) in the Laser group (P=0.01. In terms of anisometropia and refractive error, both groups made no notable difference. Squint was found remarkably higher in the laser group (29.6%) than in the IVR group (4.8%) (P=0.01). It was found that treating ROP eyes with laser treatment leads to greater improvement in infants than when treated by IVR. Moreover, a significant recurrence of ROP was discovered after IVR treatment in comparison with the laser treatment.","PeriodicalId":8308,"journal":{"name":"Archives Of Pharmacy Practice","volume":"125 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90275551","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The SSI can lead to an increase in morbidity, mortality, and increase in the duration of hospital stay among patients. The present systematic review was planned to find the epidemiological features, prevalence, causative organisms, and predisposing risk factors for the development of postoperative infections among surgical patients of all the six WHO regions. Initially, 281 articles were identified through specified databases. Finally, 18 articles that fulfilled all inclusions and exclusion criteria are included. For the risk factors assessment, p-values, odds ratio were considered. In general, the occurrence rate of SSI ranges from 2% to 17.8%. Regarding causative organisms, three microorganisms are commonly reported in most of the studies were Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia, and E. Coli. Among the different procedures reviewed, incidence and prevalence rates were higher among emergency surgical procedures and lower among obstetrics and gynecology procedures. Longer preoperative duration of stays in hospital decreased Hb and serum albumin level, comorbid conditions such as diabetes, hypertension are potential risk factors for the development of SSI. The occurrence rate of SSI among post-operative patients is very high, especially in developing countries. This leads to a double burden on the healthcare delivery settings during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is essential to include a strict infection control policy, fair usage of antibiotics practices to be implemented. It is also recommended to control comorbid conditions before planning for elective surgery.","PeriodicalId":8308,"journal":{"name":"Archives Of Pharmacy Practice","volume":"112 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86789374","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
