Such mechanisms can be understood as the object of microanalysis by multiple social sciences. Concerning Social Psychology, the theoretical concepts of imitation and distinction are found at the same microlevel and have been the object of such a microanalysis by three eminent sociologists. The thought of George Simmel, Gabriel Tarde and Pierre Bourdieu on these topics is exposed in order to show the historical relevance of their contributions concerning these microlevel key-concepts of Social Psychology. As a conclusion, this article aims to provide a rationale for innovative researchers to reflect on the boundaries that separate their discipline from Sociology; the interdisciplinarity required to address theoretical concepts underlying the discipline (such as imitation and distinction); and the relevance of these contemporary classics to understand phenomena that occur in an increasingly networked social world.","PeriodicalId":82492,"journal":{"name":"Revista de historia de la psicologia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70907395","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Es por ello que este trabajo, desde una perspectiva historico-critica, rastrea el dispositivo en sus origenes y en distintos escenarios geograficos, aborda algunas experiencias claves en la provincia y los referentes de la epoca, para aproximarse al entramado que dio lugar a la experiencia del Belgrano. La importancia de este caso radica en que fue una institucion faro durante la epoca, al constituirse como una referencia para la atencion clinica y la formacion profesional. Fue a su vez fuente de inspiracion para la creacion de otros dispositivos tambien dedicados al tratamiento psicoanalitico de las psicosis en Argentina. EnglishThis article addresses the conditions of possibility for the emergence of the Day Hospital of the “General Manuel Belgrano” Hospital in Greater Buenos Aires in 1985 (Argentina). Although day hospitals have a long history at international level and some previous experiences in the country, local studies around this problem are scarce. That is why this work, from a historical-critical perspective, tracks the facility in its origins and in different geographical scenarios, addresses some key experiences in the province and the referents of the time, to approximate the framework that gave rise to the experience of Belgrano. The importance of this case is that it was a beacon institution during the time it was open, as it became a reference for clinical care and professional training. It was also a source of inspiration for the creation of other facilities also dedicated to the psychoanalytic treatment of psychosis in Argentine.","PeriodicalId":82492,"journal":{"name":"Revista de historia de la psicologia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43840590","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fue usada en 1908 bajo la direccion del medico Luis Comenge en el marco de un censo sanitario antropometrico de jovenes ciudadanos. Un total de 5.800 escolares fueron examinados para la seleccion de un grupo que disfrutaria de una subvencion para participar en las colonias escolares de verano. Examinamos el informe sobre las mediciones antropometricas y psicometricas que proporcionan informacion acerca de como se emplearon las pruebas y para que, es decir, el objetivo y las funciones sociales de tal iniciativa. Nuestra investigacion pone de manifiesto que, en este caso, el diagnostico de debilidad o anormalidad estuvo asociado a un privilegio social. Ademas, este examen fisico y mental de los ninos, formaba parte de una estrategia mas amplia que fue adoptada por los medicos y las autoridades locales para llevar algo de bienestar y paz a un sector de la sociedad que en estos anos estaba sufriendo las consecuencias de una vida dura en la ciudad EnglishThe present study explores the pioneering application of the intelligence test by physicians in Barcelona, soon after the publication of Binet and Simon’s scale in France. It was conducted in 1908 under the leadership of the physician Luis Comenge, within the framework of a general anthropometric health census of young citizens. A total of 5,800 schoolchildren were examined to select those who would take part in the subsidized summer camps (colonias escolares). We study the report of the anthropometric and psychometric measurements, which provides information on how the techniques were employed and why, e.g., the aims and social functions of the undertaking. Our work shows that, in this case, a diagnosis of feebleness or abnormality led to social privilege. Moreover, this mental and physical examination of children was part of a broader strategy adopted by physicians and local authorities to bring welfare and peace to those enduring the hard and strained life of the city.","PeriodicalId":82492,"journal":{"name":"Revista de historia de la psicologia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70906423","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Alzheimer le respondio que Achucarro era la persona mejor preparada para esa tarea. Nicolas Achucarro era un neuropsiquiatra vasco, nacido en la ciudad industrial de Bilbao, que se habia formado en las mejores clinicas psiquiatricas europeas antes de llegar a Munich, donde estaba investigando las lesiones cerebrales causadas por la rabia en los conejos. L. Thorndike supuso una significativa contribucion a la Psicologia del siglo XX. En los manuals el texto se atribuye a Thorndike, sin marores precisiones. El diseno parece simple y convincente: por ensayo y error los gatos aprenden a escapar de una caja-problema. Sin embargo, un examen detenido revela multiples controles, innovaciones estadisticas y una fuerte interpretacion teorica. Esta sofisticacion plantea algunas cuestiones: ?realizo un joven estudiante de postgrado este complejo experimento? ?por que se financio este costoso experimento? ?se ha tornado lo convencional en un mito? Este articulo profundiza en la compleja relacion entre el proyecto funcionalista de James, el de los tests mentales de Cattel y la psicologia comparada de Morgan y Romanes, para concluir que el experimento de Thorndike fue el medio necesario para dotar al funcionalismo de un experimento fundacional y consagrar la curva del aprendizaje como el metodo de esta perspectiva cientifica EnglishAnimal Intelligence: An Experimental Study of the Associative Process in Animals by Edward L. Thorndike contributed significantly to psychology in the 20th century. In textbooks, the experiment is attributed to Thorndike without qualification. The design looks simple and produces conviction; by trial and error, cats learn to escape from a puzzle-box. But closer reading reveals multiple controls, innovation in statistical methods, and strong theoretical interpretation. This sophistication raises questions: Did a young graduate student do this complicated experiment? Why was this expensive study funded? Is the convention now myth? This paper delves into the complex relationship between James’s functionalist project, Cattell’s mental testing and the comparative psychology of Morgan and Romanes, to conclude that Thorndike’s experiment was the means to provide functionalism with a foundational experiment and consecrate the learning curve as the method of this scientific perspective.","PeriodicalId":82492,"journal":{"name":"Revista de historia de la psicologia","volume":"15 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70906832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
