He denied that the hallucinations associated with this syndrome were caused by any visual pathology, claiming instead that they were the result of lesions in the visual areas of the brain. But new means of expression and communication have brought about a diversity in the modalities used in teaching and personal training in the midst of the diversification of psychiatric currents, the means of exploration, and therapeutic methods. The relationship between theory and practice is central to the means of transmission in the specific characteristics of the different currents of French psychiatry: 1) Psychiatric conceptions which focus on the various neurobiological and biochemical networks, genetic research and artificial intelligence are confronted in their current evolution with the epistemological demands of explanation and understanding. And psychiatry, in all its complexity, cannot and will not be spared adopting these same demands; 2) The different psychopathological dimensions that underlie the various concepts of psychiatric disorders in children, adolescents and adults are constantly confronted with the relationship between theoretical conceptions and practical modalities, in the clinical relationship and in therapeutic conduct. In this article, we propose to address a certain number of reflections in this field, by questioning the principal psychopathological conceptions of today. And this reflection places great emphasis on the need to clarify concepts, perspectives and projects; 3) Epistemological dimensions can thereby render it possible to identify the numerous articles concerning the transmission of psychiatry and its fields: – First and foremost, studies on the relationship between theory and practice make it possible to distinguish between the various categories. They provide a clear understanding of the specific dynamics involved in understanding psychiatric disorders; – Studies on the relationship between the fields of time and life sciences correspond to very important epistemological attitudes that are very important to be taken into account. The neurosciences which are currently playing a key role in medicine and psychiatry usher us into “the knowledge of life”. These various studies compel us to consider just what the relationship is betweenthe “objectivity of the scientist” and the “subjectivity of the living”. We can then turn our attention to the anthropological concepts concerning the philosophy of life where we will find in the various psychiatric disorders the essential questions about the meaning of life that are present in the mind of every human being.

","PeriodicalId":7992,"journal":{"name":"Annales medico-psychologiques","volume":"182 10","pages":"Pages 943-949"},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2024-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"143173466","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"医学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since its inception, this institution has established fruitful collaborations with French universities. These ties have enriched the psychology program, especially by incorporating psychoanalytic theories and promoting a holistic approach. The text also emphasizes the use of the works of Francophone psychoanalysts in research and clinical practice in Lebanon. Concepts from Didier Anzieu, Micheline Enriquez, and René Kaës help to better understand the psychological disorders among Lebanese people, particularly those who have experienced war. Furthermore, the author shows how the values of Francophonie contribute to social transformation through the establishment of structures such as the University Center for Psychological Care at Saint-Joseph University and the Medico-Psychological Consultation Centers for Children Victims of War. These institutions play a crucial role in the training of students and the provision of psychological services to the Lebanese population, in line with the ideals of solidarity and respect for human rights promoted by Francophonie. After serving as an extern in hospitals (1887) and then as an intern in the asylums in the former department of Seine (1888), he won first prize in the competitive examination for the administration of Parisian psychiatric hospitals in 1890. That same year, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in medicine. From December 1890 to September 1891, he was assistant physician at the Evreux asylum before being promoted to assistant physician at the Vaucluse asylum, an establishment created in 1876, and where he would remain until his retirement in 1920. An alumnus of the École des Hautes Études and a member of learned societies (Société médico-psychologique 1889; Société de médecine 1891; Société clinique de médecine mentale 1909), Blin was the first, prior to the Binet and Simon test, to use a questionnaire to differentiate between morons, imbeciles and profound idiots. Together with Théodore Simon he designed a campylogram (1900), and always attributed great importance to the use of the test method in child clinical practice. Following in the footsteps of Itard, Seguin, Bourneville and his colleagues, Blin thus contributed to improving the pedagogical education of retarded children and can be considered the leader of the Perray-Vaucluse school of child psychiatry (Théodore Simon, Maurice Brissot, André Beley). In addition to his medical activities, Blin was introduced to sculpture by Paul Richer (1849–1933) and became a student of Denys Puech (1854–1942); he was a member of the Society of French Artists in the sculpture section (1903). An experienced navigator, he was a member of the crew of one of Jean-Baptiste Charcot's (1867–1936) ships that were christened the “Pourquoi pas?”. The same year that Th. In its second issue, the Annales Médico-Psychologiques reported on the first work on cerebral anatomical pathology by Charles Louis-Maxime Durand-Fardel (1815–1899). In 1845, it pointed out his Traité du ramollissement du cerveau (1843) and published one of his observations about a case of hypochondria (1852). Maxime Durand-Fardel was an extern in medicine (1834), then an intern (1836) and a Doctor of Medicine (1840). The same year he became a Doctor of Medicine, he was the first to describe a case of cholangiocarcinoma. He was a pioneer in vascular neurology; he described for the first time the “cribrosum status” following a chronic compromise of cerebral circulation (1842). For four years, Durand-Fardel worked as a country doctor practicing general medicine and minor surgery in Châtillon-sur-Loing (Loiret). In 1848, he published a series of original works on medical hydrology. He founded the Society of Hydrology and Medical Climatology (1853) and taught at the École pratique de la Faculté de médecine de Paris, where he taught a course on mineral waters and chronic diseases (1856–1876). In 1854, he was a member of a number of learned societies (The Anatomical Society, the Medical Observation Society, the Medical Society of Paris, the Medical-surgical Society of Paris, the Medical Society of the 10th Arrondissement of Paris, the Societies of Medical Sciences of Lille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nancy, Leipzick and a corresponding member of the Imperial Academy of Medicine) and worked as a medical inspector of the springs of Hauterive in Vichy (Allier). In the same year, he published his Traité clinique et pratique des maladies des vieillards (A Clinical and Practical Treatise on Diseases of the Elderly), following in the footsteps of the great clinicians of the nineteenth century who devoted scientific work to senile pathology (Canstatt, Pinel, Prus, Rostan). He was an erudite doctor, musician and watercolorist, and he was interested in the study of history and the Italian language, becoming fascinated by Dante Alighieri. He translated and commented the Divine Comedy. On March 19, 1899, Durand-Fardel died in Paris. In addition to having a predilection for anatomical-pathological studies and medical hydrology, Durand-Fardel was the first to publish, in France and abroad, a memoir in the Annales Médico-Psychologiques dealing with suicide in children in 1855.
