In low concentrations the effects coincide with that of phenylephrine, in high concentrations--with that of isadrine. The protease manifested two types of specific features: (1) dual tripsin- and chymotripsin-like specifics in respect to exoproteolysis of peptides and their derivatives, and (2) conformational specifics in respect to endoproteolysis of peptides. {"title":"[The role of endogenous opioid peptides in the mechanisms of the antiarrhythmic effect of adaptation].","authors":"Iu B Lishmanov, L N Maslov, A V Krylamov, E V Uskina","doi":"","DOIUrl":"","url":null,"abstract":"<p><p>A decrease in severity and incidence rate of the epinephrine- or CaCl2-induced arrhythmias was found in the rats adapted to stress. An increase of the beta-endorphin and enkephalin levels was revealed in the brain areas, heart, suprarenal glands and in the blood plasma of such rats. Naloxone eliminated the antiarrhythmic effect of the adaptation, as well as D-kyotorphin. {"title":"[Endothelial hyperactivation in heat shock in rats of different genetic strains].","authors":"E B Manukhina, Z Z Azamatov, E V Malysheva, I Iu Malyshev","doi":"","DOIUrl":"","url":null,"abstract":"<p><p>Heat shock was found to induce a drop in the AP due to the endothelium-dependent relaxation of the vessels and potentiation of the endothelium suppression of the vasoconstrictor responses. The responses were more obvious in the August rats as compared with the Wistar line. No lines or rats revealed any changes in the sensitivity of adrenoceptors to the agonist which suggests a leading role of the nitrogen oxide hyperproduction in these effects of the heat shock. The agonist of peripheral mu-receptors DALDA was able to prevent the lesion, and natrexone--to diminish the stressor effect.
