Comparison of the results of USI, isotope renography and excretory urography has shown that with an increase in the gravity of injury of the urinary system, the frequency of ultrasound findings rises from 60.8% in renal dysfunction of a mean gravity up to 91.2% in severe disorders. Echography data on the presence of hydronephrosis, pyelocaliectasis, a granular kidney, pyelonephritis, and nephroptosis usually coincided with the results of excretory urography in these patients. A combined use of echography and renography permits obtaining in most cases necessary data on structural and functional disorders of the urinary tracts. Echographic semiotics of radiation cystitis was studied in detail versus cystoscopy data. The informative value of ultrasound scanning of the bladder was observed in patients with radiation cystitis.</p>","PeriodicalId":76145,"journal":{"name":"Meditsinskaia radiologiia","volume":"36 4","pages":"8-11"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1991-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"13190733","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Evacuatory function of the gastroduodenal system was investigated in healthy persons and in patients using a gamma-camera. The results obtained have shown that in a majority of healthy persons carbohydrate breakfast was evacuated at the highest rate, breakfast with egg protein was evacuated slower, and breakfast with butter was evacuated even much slower. In duodenal ulcer the rate of evacuation of all 3 types of breakfasts was slowed down, and evacuation was undifferentiated (all 3 types were evacuated at the same slow rate). In patients with liver cirrhosis the evacuation of carbohydrate and protein breakfasts was slow, in calculous cholecystitis these types of breakfasts differed slightly as a result of the slow evacuation of carbohydrate breakfast. The evacuation of breakfast with butter was inhibited almost to the same degree. These results indicate the complex nature of gastric content evacuatory disorders in gastroenterologic patients, and it should be taken into account in differential diagnosis and therapy.</p>","PeriodicalId":76145,"journal":{"name":"Meditsinskaia radiologiia","volume":"36 4","pages":"18-20"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1991-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"13190027","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The object of investigation were cytological and histological specimens, histotopographic tumor slices. Methods of mathematical analysis of correlations between tumor tissue regression and parameters of parenchymal differentiation in cytological specimens and an area of tumor nodes were employed. Tumor tissue regression and differentiation of cell elements in cytological specimens showed correlation in the course of combined treatment on the basis of radiotherapy. Insignificant correlation was revealed between a volumetric density of the tumor parenchyma, preserved after combined treatment with UHF-hyperthermia, and parameters of cell differentiation in cytological specimens. Significantly positive correlation was found between an area of tumor nodes and an area of necrotic foci, developing in them after thermoradiotherapy.</p>","PeriodicalId":76145,"journal":{"name":"Meditsinskaia radiologiia","volume":"36 2","pages":"20-2"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1991-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"13152365","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
