There is anxiety about dullness and idle time, just as it is boring, it makes an impression. An adequate reception, therefore - that gives prominence to the patient and his family, with professionals willing to, in addition to treating the disease, taking care of the sick person and his / her family - transmitting confidence, security and attention - is imperative. DISCUSSION: Like the paintings, the act of telling stories is a form of artistic expression, whose narratives in a hospital context have the purpose of relieving the anxiety of the internment period and still encourages the reflection of reality of who listens, as well as who narrates. Here, then, is the role of affection and the doctor's sensibility. The look towards the patient as a human being goes through biopsychosocial also due to the need to empower these actors, so that they have autonomy over their bodies and their lives. Standardization, fundamental to the organization in the dynamics of those who work in a hospital, ends up removing individuality, reducing those who are looking for care only to their bed number or their illnesses. CONCLUSION: Affections, therefore, must be stimulated, because our feelings, whether good or bad, confer singularity and integrality to the patient and empathy to the doctor. The objective of this work is to understand the historical points of this area of knowledge, as well as the subjectivity involved, correlating it with Literature and the Arts. DEVELOPMENT: The production of anatomical knowledge begins in prehistory; it is watertight in the Middle Ages; gains momentum in Oriental Medicine and reaches its peak in spectacles of public dissections. Anatomy is established as a form of entertainment through the regulation of public dissections, leading to the trivialization of death, the appreciation of the grotesque, the scarcity of corpses and the fear of misappropriation of bodies. As anatomy has grown as an area of knowledge, it has created the basis for health sciences and human care. It has emerged over time that the study of anatomical pieces requires essential principles - sensitivity, ethics and respect - and allows us to reflect on the transposition of the boundaries between the beautiful versus the grotesque; the pleasant versus the disgusting. It also allows reflection on the trivialization, commercialization and eroticization of the body, as well as on the limits of science. CONCLUSION: Human anatomy, in its multiple aspects, has come a long way and constitutes a precious source of knowledge, however, it is faced with enticement by the most different interests. The receipt of the patient's history is given by attentive listening that, for this, needs to be trained. Thus, writing is a primary tool in this process. Medicine today takes on an increasingly technical nature. DISCUSSION: The approach of Medicine and the human sciences, which for some, seems to be irreconcilable, gains space in Rita Charon's Narrative Medicine, through this cyclical and inexhaustible exercise of writing and listening more attentively and insightfully to the patient's behaviors of speaking or even to keep silent. As soon as one learns what was heard, writing comes as a dialogue with yourself to understand in greater depth what we have just experienced. Entering this complex storyline of the patient, through imagination, opens the way to develop empathy with the sender and opens space for the doctor to reflect on what he experiences. It is essential to have a theoretical and literary arsenal to connect with the patient's experiences and social place. CONCLUSION: Medicine isn´t science itself, so it presupposes an interpretation, which also arises from good listening and writing. The familiarity of students with professional practices in controlled environments contributes to reality comprehension, guaranteeing the development of skills, which contributes and maintain the patients’ safety. OBJECTIVE: Describing the insertion of the curriculum performed of the professional skills and Clinical Simulation as a controlled learning environment, concurring with developed activities in different levels of health care attention, such as non-controlled environments. METHODOLOGY: Experience report of the academic activities of Medical Course at Universidade Municipal de São Caetano do Sul from its conception. RESULTS: Skills and simulations throughout the semesters contain several activities with Simulated Patient Actors, Task Trainers, Hybrid Simulation, Rapid Cycle Deliberate Practice (RCDP), and Standardized Simulation as a path to the development of medical competences since the first semester of the course. OBJECTIVE: To debate the conception of saviour siblings and the delicacy and complexity of the theme from a bioethical perspective. METHODOLOGY: Literature review carried out in August 2019, in the PubMed database, using the keyword “saviour siblings”. The material obtained was used for discussion and elaboration of a clinical case. RESULTS: 40 articles were found, nine of which were excluded from the abstract for diverging from the topic. The clinical case was developed collectively and the authors delegated with putting themselves in the place of those involved in this decision and narrating the possible thoughts and feelings of each one of them. Then, bibliographic references were used to discuss the constructed clinical case, from the bioethical perspective. CONCLUSION: Saviour siblings related bioethical issues are delicate and complex. On the one hand, there's a benefit of saving a sick child and bringing relief to the parents. But, on the other hand, this technique can bear on eugenic practices such as the selection of individuals based on their genetics. The violation of the saviour sibling's autonomy needs to be the focus of future ethical discussions in order to protect his rights. OBJECTIVE: Describing the training process developed through Continuing Education in urgent and emergency care in the qualification of medical professionals and nurses in the Regional Health Coordination Center of the Municipality of São Paulo. METHODOLOGY: Reflective descriptive study of the type experience report based on the conduct of health training conducted through continuing education based on active learning methodologies. RESULTS: Based on the situational diagnosis, the need to carry out activities aimed at meeting situations more focused on urgency and clinical emergencies was identified. Thus, training was proposed for doctors and nurses in these services, according to topics discussed with the team and coordination of the units. It is a delicate subject when treated in the context of prisons and the Associations of Protection and Assistance to the Convicted (APACs). OBJECTIVES: The overall objective was to analyze the relationships between: the prisoner, his knowledge about STIs and his condition of vulnerability. METHODOLOGY: This is a cross-sectional study and educational intervention. In the analysis of the promptuaries, serologies (FTAabs-IgG, HbsAg, Anti-HCV and Anti-HIV) were researched. The intervention study was carried out in 3 stages: 1st pre-test questionnaire; 2nd lecture; and 3rd post-test questionnaire. RESULTS: From 151 promptuaries, 3 HIV positive, 4 HCV positive, and 8 FTAabs-IgG positive were identified. In APAC, 1 FTAabs-IgG positive was identified. Of the 58 APAC students, 34.5% did not access high school and 37.5% always use condoms. In the pre-test, the majority signalled that the STIs transmission was due to the sharing of punctures and unprotected sex. In the post-test we noted a gain of knowledge in most of the questions. CONCLUSION: The literature and our results showed a higher prevalence of STIs in prisons. It is noted that low schooling is related to risk practices. In addition, the sharing of tools for the drug consumption, the realization of tattoos and the unprotected sex is remarkable. Other setbacks contributing to the high prevalence of STIs have also been observed. PURPOSE: This study aims to describe the influences that the formal curriculum and the hidden curriculum exert in the formation of the professional identity in the students of the medical course. METHODS: This is a cross-sectional, descriptive study with qualitative-quantitative methodology. A questionnaire was applied for the evaluation of the students about activities that occurred during graduation, insertion of humanism in academic practice, and socio-demographic description and group profile, and 200 participants received these questions. Quantitative data were analyzed using the statistical program SPSS 20.0, considering as statistically significant p <0.05 and qualitative data by content analysis and categorization. RESULTS: 111/200 students answered the questionnaire, the majority coming from the 8th semester of the institution. There was perception of the influence of mentors, the contribution of the curriculum and socialization in the formation of the student's professional identity. The analysis of the participants' speeches showed the internalization of the humanization occurs mainly through the importance of example, the contact with the patient and the importance of the previous formation of character and personality of the student.
