The preparation conditions of the Phosphorylated derivative of FVSP (Ph-FVSP) were optimized based on single experiments and response surface analysis. Characterization and antioxidant properties of FVSP and Ph-FVSP were investigated. The optimum phosphorylation modification process of FVSP obtained was as follows: The mass ratio of STPP/STMP was 1:2, the reaction temperature was 70℃, the reaction time was 5.4 h and the pH was 9.2. Infrared spectroscopy suggested that the phosphorylation of FVSP was successful. Compared with FVSP, Ph-FVSP was more capable of scavenging hydroxyl radicals and superoxide anions. Ac-FVP2a was prepared by chemical acetylation. The preparation process of Ac-FVP2a was optimized using the response surface method based on three experimental factors including reaction time, reaction temperature, and the ratio of FVP2a to acetic anhydride. The physicochemical characteristics and antioxidant activities of Ac-FVP2a in vitro were investigated. The results showed that the optimal preparation process of Ac-FVP2a was a reaction time of 2.5 h, reaction temperature of 45℃ and ratio of FVP2a to acetic anhydride of 1:37 (g/mL), respectively. The monosaccharides of Ac-FVP2a with an average molecular weight of 1.97 × 10 5 Da were galactose, glucose, rhamnose, xylose, and arabinose and the molar ratio were 1.65:1:0.13:0.26:1.12. FT-IR suggested that Ac-FVP2a was prepared successfully. Ac-FVP2a had stronger antioxidant activities with better thermal stability than FVP2a. In this study, the TMP has obtained from the Chinese herbal medicine Ligusticum chuanxiong and investigated the protective effects of TMP on oxidative damage in human LO 2 cells with the treatment of different concentrations of TMP. The results showed that TMP reserved oxidative damage caused by hydrogen peroxide in LO 2 cells. Further other investigations suggested that TMP protected LO 2 cells from oxidative damage through elevating activities of antioxidant enzymes and glutathione levels. The TMP treatment promoted the nucleus translocation of the nuclear factor erythroid 2–related factor 2 (Nrf2) and further induced expression of antioxidant response element. Finally, it could be concluded that TMP treatment suppressed apoptosis induced by hydrogen peroxide in LO 2 cells. First, the improved watershed algorithm was used for the segmentation of fresh-cut cauliflower samples and the extraction of single-sample. Then, three-color models, a gray co-occurrence matrix, and two feature extraction algorithms were used to extract the color, texture, and spectral feature parameters of the images. At the same time, the Partial Least Squares Discriminant Analysis (PLS-DA) and Extreme Learning Machines (ELM) discriminant models were established. The identification accuracy of PLS-DA and ELM discriminant models for rotting samples was 95 and 90.9%, respectively. Moreover, according to the size of rotten areas, the rotting grades were divided and the contours and feature areas of rotten cauliflower samples were identified by the region growth algorithm and the “Sobel” operator. Finally, the detection and identification of the rotting degree of cauliflower samples were realized. Protein-protein interactions between Dopamine Receptors (DRs) and GLUN2A and GLUN2B subunits are critical mechanisms that regulate dopamine and glutamate coordinated signals. These interactions may be involved in the pathophysiological predisposition of epilepsy. We hypothesized that the specificity of dopaminergic neurotransmission in audiogenic Seizure-Prone (SP) rats could be underlined by the distribution and expression of the N-Methyl-D-Aspartate Glutamate Receptor (NMDAR) and Dopamine Receptor (NMDAR/DR) heterocomplex. We determined the oligomerization of synaptic and extra-synaptic NMDAR subunits with D1 and D2 receptors in the prefrontal cortex and Nucleus Accumbens (NAc) of healthy and epileptic males rats. Considering that the comorbidity of epilepsy and autism is more prevalent in females, we also studied the pattern of interaction. in NMDAR/DR heterocomplex formation in healthy female rats. The association of Dopamine Receptor type 1 (D1R) with the GLUN2A receptor, in the extra-synaptic fraction of epilepsy-prone rats, was lower than that in healthy female and male rats. In contrast, the interaction of D1R with the GLUN2B receptor was higher in the extra-synaptic membranes of epilepsy-prone rats than that in healthy rats. Furthermore, we found that the D2R/GLUN2B ratio was higher in the synaptic NAc fraction of SP and female rats. For this reason, based on improved transfer learning, this study proposed a classification method for soybean leaf diseases. Firstly, leaves were segmented from the whole image after removing the complicated background images. Secondly, the data-augmented method was applied to amplify the separated leaf disease image dataset to reduce overfitting. At last, the automatically fine-tuning convolutional neural network (Autotun) was adopted to classify the soybean leaf diseases. The verification accuracy of the proposed method is 94.23, 93.51 and 94.91% on VGG-16, ResNet-34 and DenseNet-121 networks respectively. Acer nikoense and A. ammonium are both known to contain corilagin. To explore whether corilagin occurs in congeneric species and to fully develop the medicinal value of maple, the corilagin content in different varieties of maple was determined by Ultrahigh-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC). Acer buergerianum leaves contained corilagin and the corilagin content in leaves of different varieties at the deciduous stage varied from 1.2371 to 6.8887 mg/g, with an average of 4.3791 mg/g. Among the cultivars, ‘Xingwang’ and ‘Qianlihong' showed relatively high corilagin contents and the content in ‘Qilujin’ was the lowest. The range of corilagin contents at the new leaf stage was 8.7452~11.2441 mg/g. Many parts of A. buergerianum contained corilagin, with the highest content in the leaves; based on this considerable corilagin concentration, this plant can be developed into raw material for corilagin extraction. There are large differences among varieties. Based on the three-Dimensional (3D) geological modeling technology and ordinary Kriging method, this study described and analyzed the soil pollution status and spatial distribution characteristics of a site in Zhongshan, Guangxi. The results showed that combining 3D geological model and the Kriging interpolation method can well evaluate soil heavy metal pollution. The 3D geological model showed that the pollutant concentration in soil ranked As>Pb>Mo and the pollution degree decreased gradually from top to bottom. As such, the miscellaneous fill soil layer was the layer that needs to be repaired. In addition, the single-factor pollution level and Nemerow comprehensive index method were used to evaluate the pollution risk of the site. The evaluation results showed that the soil quality was seriously threatened by As and the heavy pollution (Pi>3) accounted for 61.10%. Furthermore, attention should be paid to the potential risk of Pb in the miscellaneous fill layer. Methods: In the present study, we constructed an obese rat model and divided rats into the following groups: Normoxic quiet (C), Hypoxic quiet (H), normoxic Exercise (CE), and Hypoxic Exercise (HE). We employed isobaric Tags for Relative and Absolute Quantification (iTRAQ) using proteomic technology to screen the differentially expressed proteins in the four groups. Additionally, we used Reduced-Representation Bisulfite Sequencing (RRBS) to analyze high-throughput DNA methylation profiles in both HE and CE groups. Finally, we screened and analyzed the CpG islands and Differentially Methylated Regions (DMRs) of genes related to the Wnt/β-catenin-signaling pathway. Results: The mRNA levels of gene products related to the Wnt/β-catenin-signaling pathway (i.e., c-myc and β-catenin) were significantly augmented ( P <0.05) in the HE group compared to the CE group; the levels of APC and GSK3β were significantly diminished ( P <0.05). The expression levels of the Wnt/β-catenin-signaling pathway proteins c-myc and β-catenin were also significantly increased in the HE group relative to the CE group ( P <0.05). Among genes related to the Wnt-signaling pathway, the CpG-promoter methylation sites included Fzd2, Fzd9, Wnt16, Wnt2b, Sfrp2, Sfrp1, Sox2, and Sox1; the DMRs included CDC, Fzd10, Gsk-3β, PI3k, Wnt16 and Wnt6. Little information is focused on its value-added utilization. In the present study, the Ultrasound-Assisted Enzymatic Extraction (UAEE) was used for the first time to extract Corn Bract Polysaccharides (CBPs). The optimum conditions of UAEE for CBPs extraction were: Cellulase amount of 0.7%, enzymolysis for 58 min, and ultrasound treatment for 30 min at 729 W, under which the CBPs yield reached 1.17±0.06%, significantly higher than other methods. CBPs are composed of ribose, rhamnose, glucuronic acid, galacturonic acid, glucose, galactose, xylose, arabinose, and fructose at molar ratios of 3.82: 4.25: 3.54: 8.11: 32.89: 1.00: 27.96: 12.57: 13.25 and have a molecular weight of 215.7 kDa and a particle size of 255 nm. The surface of CBPs appears to be full of holes and bumps and the infrared spectroscopic analysis confirmed that CBPs possess the typical characteristics of polysaccharides and could be a kind of naturally occurring sulfated polysaccharides. CBPs extracted with the optimized UAEE preferentially scavenge reactive nitrogen species with IC 50 of 1.76±0.14 mg.mL -1 for scavenging hydroxyl radical and have medium inhibitory effects on α -glucosidase with IC 50 of 20.66±0.98% mg.mL -1 . The present contribution provides an efficient UAEE method to obtain the CBPs with antioxidant and anti-diabetic potentials.
