Therefore, it needs many Legal Maxims to assist them. Without the proper rules, numerous problems will emerge in the present and the future. Legal Maxims are crucial in helping to achieve the Maqasid of preserving life and money. These Legal Maxims are acts judged by the intentions behind them- Acts are judged by the intention behind them, hardship begets ease, certainty is not overruled by doubt, there should be no harm and no reciprocating harm, and custom is the basis of judgment. Hence this paper will discuss these Legal Maxims and demonstrate how they will achieve the Maqasid of preserving life and money for sustainable Architecture and Interior Design.","PeriodicalId":70295,"journal":{"name":"建筑工程技术与设计","volume":"21 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82602872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The rendering output is in 3D media which can be used for animation and V/AR. Prophet Mosque is a significant icon and heritage of Islam because it no longer has evidence of the old memories, and it was fully sealed and protected. We created a model based on existing media like textual descriptions, pictures, and scholarly discussion to visualise this. Our main goal is to produce a photorealistic result with the least computational power and time. As we all know, making photorealistic objects is a lengthy and challenging process. In this paper, we identify the challenges and propose the configuration and workflow of the model built by exploring various settings and parameters of the state-of-the-art rendering approach. We chose Vray and 3DS Max as our platforms for this experiment. Our evaluation method includes several challenging processes like texturing, lighting, rendering, and modelling. Each of these processes has its challenges and solution. The result shows how important it is to organise the project pipeline and control the rendering parameters from the beginning until its final stage to get the maximum output using minimal efforts. Finally, we outlined several guidelines to achieve this.","PeriodicalId":70295,"journal":{"name":"建筑工程技术与设计","volume":"10 1","pages":"1-5"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91024993","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite these developments being used in several design education aspects, it is still limited to a few design studio activities. The current conditions of Covid-19 have affected the educational process, and reliance on virtual teaching methods became the basis instead of face-to-face education in the design studios. This creates a challenge for academics as well as students because they didn’t practice this kind of E-learning before, in addition to relying primarily on the use of digital design tools. Hence, the research problem lies in the attempt to use digital technology and apply it to achieve effective learning through a virtual studio in comparison with a real-life studio. Therefore, this research is concerned with designing new educational techniques that use digital tools to suit the new situation to achieve effective learning for interior design students within the virtual design studio. The research aims to design three E-learning techniques within the Virtual Studio, by promoting the application of educational theories and strategies and developing interior design students’ skills. A questionnaire is designed to survey 30 students (first-year in the Interior Design and Furniture Department at the Faculty of Applied Arts, Damietta University) and determine the effectiveness of the techniques that have been used. The research finds a new approach to educational techniques that fit the interior design curriculum through the virtual studio, which will encourage students to develop design ideas and foster creativity.","PeriodicalId":70295,"journal":{"name":"建筑工程技术与设计","volume":"4 1","pages":"1-9"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79534647","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is one of the smart systems that employ the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT). Sensor nodes are used to connect the entire physical infrastructure with intelligent technologies for monitoring and control purposes. The proposed system includes two types of IoT nodes: indoor sensor node and outdoor actuator node. The environmental sensing and remote actuation algorithm (ESRAA) is proposed to enable the building to breathe like a lung. While the intelligent façade skinning system (IFSS) operates as “muscles” allowing the buildings to place their profiles into the required configuration. In other words, the façade of the building can be transformed by learning the indoor environment according to indoor air-quality standards. An artificial neural network (ANN)-based model is developed to classify the indoor air-quality and morph the building facade according to various conditions. The obtained results showed that the developed ANN model successfully classified the air-quality with an accuracy of 100% when utilizing an exhaustive search (ES) algorithm to select the optimum number of neurons in the hidden layer of the introduced ANN model.","PeriodicalId":70295,"journal":{"name":"建筑工程技术与设计","volume":"34 1","pages":"1-7"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87958222","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the development of cities is done in an irrational way and which seriously affects the quality of life of the inhabitants. In Algeria after independence, the choice of a development mode based on industrialization, has strongly influenced the construction sector. Construction methods have shown failures in the quality of life in cities. In addition, the construction materials currently used such as concrete, metal and glass have harmful impacts on humans and their environment. For this, the construction sector must face environmental concerns, in particular due to uncontrolled energy consumption and the high quantities of raw materials extracted from natural resources. At this stage, the encouragement of the use of natural building materials increases over time with the use of innovation. These innovative materials are natural based such as: stone, wood, earth. They aim to be not only more environmentally friendly, but also to reduce construction costs, while improving the quality of new lifestyles. Currently, several works started around the world by research labs to improve energy performance from their manufacture. Ecological tiles, LiTraCon translucent concrete, BetR-blok bricks, CEMATERRE are innovative materials that will help build the house of tomorrow[1]. Therefore, the present research is interested on the study of some innovative materials and its impact on the quality of life in cities. A work of energy analysis and thermal simulation using software ECOTECT of some houses in the city of Ain Beida will be carried out. Thermal simulation with “ECOTECT” software was developed on a house built with ordinary brick to assess the indoor thermal comfort through the variation of indoor temperature. Then, another simulation was developed by replacing the existing material by CEMATERRE to compare the two results obtained to evaluate the thermal performance of the earth material. The objective is to have an idea on the importance of the use of innovative materials, as an axis to be undertaken towards a sustainable construction respectful of the environment for better living in the cities. The purpose is to open a debate: How to live better in the city, through the use of innovative materials?","PeriodicalId":70295,"journal":{"name":"建筑工程技术与设计","volume":"13 1","pages":"1-7"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87294159","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper conducts a simulation study to evaluate and optimize harvesting daylighting in an existing office building in Bahrain. To this end, three passive solutions were investigated namely window-to-wall ratio (WWR), surface reflectance, and building orientation to examine their influence on daylighting and thermal gain. The approach was numerically exemplified simultaneously, i.e., WWR was increased to 30%, walls and ceiling reflectance were set to 80%, and rotating the building orientation 20° degrees from the true north direction. For the suggested model, it was found that about 14% of the building spaces were exposed to excessive daylighting, 36% of the spaces show an excellent level, 26% were good, 5% were moderate, 19% were still at a poor level, and 0% has a bad daylighting level compared with 12% of the existing model. In addition to 60% and 66% increment of total and sensible cooling load respectively, the wall transmission load decreased by approximately 23%. The window transmission load increased about three folds and half; the solar load also increased approximately four folds. Therefore, building designers should achieve the balance between harvesting daylighting and thermal gain while sizing windows, choosing wall reflectance, and building orientation.","PeriodicalId":70295,"journal":{"name":"建筑工程技术与设计","volume":"31 1","pages":"1-7"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82345671","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

BIM significance appeared through transforming products data and their environmental properties available such as energy consumption, product life span and maintenance rates to a usable integrated database. The problem that faces most of designers is which products to use in interior space to achieve a sustainable design. The research is adapting a qualitative approach that collects and analyses data of projects that used BIM and its capabilities about using design elements database to support decision making for interior spaces and to differentiate between design alternatives.
