The results revealed the presence of a significant genetic\u0000variation among the cultivars although s alt stress significantly reduced all germination\u0000parameters tested. The cultivar Ozveren was the most salt tolerant with 20.1%\u0000reduction in final germination percentage compared to control seeds while\u0000cultivars Alınoglu, Ayaz and Bakir did not germinate. The maximum delays in germination rate (G50 =\u00003.78 days) and synchrony (G10-90 =\u00003.45 days) were obtained from the cultivars Urkmez and Ozveren, respectively. The GTFMs\u0000provided a total of 53.1% polymorphism. The primers of MtSOS2\u0000gene gave the highest numbers of alleles per primer pair while the highest\u0000polymorphism rate (77.8%) was obtained from the MtP5CS gene. The\u0000first three components of principal component analysis explained 57.63% of\u0000total variation. This study concluded that the cultivars determined to be salt\u0000tolerant and sensitive at germination stage distributed into three main clades\u0000determined by UPGMA analysis while the GTFMs associated with salt\u0000tolerance successfully\u0000determined the genetic relationships of common vetch cultivars.

By analyzing selected climatic parameters we\u0000show that the new European habitats are found in the drier and cooler summer\u0000subtype of the humid continental climate belt. In Hungary, it spreads directly\u0000along the railways. The establishment of individual populations can be\u0000influenced by the location of cargo unloading and the movement of railway\u0000workers. Lepidium oblongum occupies\u0000gravelly, sun-exposed habitats along Hungarian railway tracks such as loading\u0000platforms, guardhouses and goods stations. The present study aims to reveal the structural\u0000features of this species. For this purpose, its unknown morphological features –\u0000such as leaf, petal, sepal dimensions and shapes, filament and anther lengths, as\u0000well as seed dimensions, shape, colour and micromorphology – have been studied\u0000for the first time. Additionally, in the present study the anatomical\u0000features of Ae. lepidioides were also\u0000studied for the first time. The Ae.\u0000lepidioides leaves were found to be linear-oblanceolate, with an entire\u0000margin and a subacute to obtuse apex. The seeds were found to be dark brown and\u0000oval-shaped, with reticulated surface ornamentation. Anatomical studies found\u0000roots in the secondary growth stage, with xylem-filled pith. The stem was in the\u0000primary growth stage, featuring a multi-layer cortex under its outermost single-layered\u0000epidermis, a pronounced endodermis and a central cylinder beneath. The leaves were\u0000thick, amphistomatic and covered with a prominent wax layer. Their mesophyll was\u0000equifacial, and their stoma type was anisocytic. A stomatal index of 26 was found\u0000for the upper epidermis, while a corresponding index of 28.4 was found for the lower\u0000epidermis. The pollens were monad, radially symmetrical and isopolar. The study presents the first analysis of the syntaxonomy of this class and its ecology in Bulgaria. One hundred seventy-five relevés from this class were collected and stored in the Balkan Vegetation Database during 2017–2020.\u0000Numerical classification (hierarchical divisive) and ordination were performed by JUICE and CANOCO software packages. Diagnostic species were\u0000determined by calculating the Phi-coefficient. Four associations, Sclerochloo durae-Polygonetum arenastri, Polygonetum arenastri, Lolio-Polygonetum arenastri and Poëtum annuae, were recognized. Their floristic composition has been shaped mainly by climatic and soil conditions. Sclerochloo durae-Polygonetum arenastri association has been\u0000found at lower altitudes, occurring in fully lighted habitats with high\u0000radiation, whereas Poëtum annuae has been found at higher altitudes in wetter and cooler areas. On the other hand, stands of Polygonetum arenastri have been found on nutrient-rich soils, whereas communities of\u0000Lolio-Polygonetum arenastri were distributed in warmer and nutrient-poor areas. The Polygono-Poetea annuae class is still poorly studied in Bulgaria and much more information from all regions of the country needs to be collected and analyzed.

Salinity can have harmful effects on physiological processes and plant growth, including Tropaeolum majus L. (Tropaeolaceae). The application of phytohormones can be a strategy to mitigate these effects. The aim of this study was to evaluate the application of jasmonic acid, salicylic acid, cytokinin and polyamine as\u0000attenuators of salt stress in T. majus. Three levels of salt stress were used: 0 mM NaCl (no stress), 50 mM NaCl (moderate stress) and 100 mM NaCl (severe stress). Four phytohormones and a control treatment were\u0000used: control (deionized water), jasmonic acid (200 µM), salicylic acid\u0000(2 mM), cytokinin (6-benzylaminopurine – 10 µM) and polyamine (spermine\u0000– 1 mM). Growth and gas exchange parameters were evaluated. Applied in conditions of moderate salt stress, all the phytohormones were efficient\u0000in improving plant height and leaf area (except salicylic acid); cytokinin and polyamine improved the number of flowers as well as gs, A and iCE; jasmonic acid improved the stem dry mass and total dry mass. In\u0000relation to severe salt stress, applications of jasmonic acid and polyamine were efficient in improving plant height; cytokinin improved leaf dry mass as well as gs, A, E, WUE, iWUE and iCE.
