The case of 12-pulse parallel rectifier in the traction substation is taken into consideration and the new functions are performed by an IGBT-based voltage source inverter with interface passive circuits on both DC and AC sides, which is connected to the power supply through a dedicated transformer. The proposed control system handles the current at the active power filter output in indirect mode, with minimal sensed quantities, by regulating the voltage across the compensation capacitor. In order to verify the operation of the system and assess its performance, detailed computer simulation studies were conducted using the Matlab/Simulink package.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"9 1","pages":"192-197"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90320057","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Previous research on natural balancing of a 4-level H-bridge Flying Capacitor Converter (FCC) with Phase Shifted (PS) PWM showed slow natural balancing rate for small modulation indices. Theoretical natural balancing time constant becomes infinitely large for zero output voltage (modulation index). This was probably the reason that many researchers became interested in active balancing methods for this and other capacitive multilevel voltage source inverters. The paper addresses natural voltage balancing improvement possibilities by employing modified PWM strategies different from classical PS PWM. Dramatic improvement in natural voltage balancing rate for small output voltages is achieved due to making a better use of switching states redundancy. Suggested is a family of improved PWM strategies and the best strategy is identified based on natural balancing damping rate considerations. Natural balancing mechanisms are analyzed using time domain averaging methodology that results in simple easy to interpret expressions regarding parameter influence.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"4 1","pages":"311-316"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90158029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, since the turn of the century, permanent magnet motor drives have assumed favor as the drive of choice for high efficiency, high performance applications such as traction and synchronous motor drives have disappeared from all but the very highest horsepower applications. This paper discusses the features of a modern synchronous motor drive which suggests that this type of drive could compete favorably with a PM motor drive. An example analysis utilizing the characteristics of the 2007 Camry hybrid car is used as an example.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"7 1","pages":"1-5"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87483526","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using these equations, a high frequency buck converter is designed according to the model of the DC motor used in the experimental section. After that, using the designed converter, characteristics of shunt and series DC motors are derived for several operating conditions. The characteristics of the DC motors are followed by the influence of the load change to the output voltage of the converter and its efficiency change as the load is increased.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":" 2","pages":"768-773"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1109/OPTIM.2015.7426961","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72383124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This magnetic field below the power line is made up of vertical and horizontal components which are orthogonal in space and varies with time thereby giving rise to a rotating field which traces an ellipse in a plane perpendicular to the conductors. For buried metallic pipelines along the power line, the horizontal component of the magnetic field plays a major role in the induction. We present computation and comparison in the transverse plane, of the spatial distribution of the magnetic field below, and polarization around balanced overhead AC double-circuit power transmission lines of vertical and horizontal geometries for six different phase arrangements. The computations showed that the magnetic field horizontal component profile at ground level depends among other factors, on conductors phase arrangement as well as the geometry. Also, the field is polarized with different polarization shapes at different locations. The spatial magnetic field polarization distribution below the conductors depends, among other factors, on the conductors' phase arrangement. We concluded that in placing pipelines below AC double-circuit power lines, it is important to consider the field distribution by the phase arrangement of the line. Three-axis field measuring device is an essential tool.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"42 1","pages":"163-169"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75121756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By considering interleaved approach, this topology minimizes the ripple of the output voltage and input current. Also, it provides to be reduced the extra current stress on the main devices. In proposed new converter, all of the semiconductor components softly turn on and turn off with Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) or Zero Current Switching (ZCS). The main feature of proposed converter is that the extra current and voltage stresses do not occur on the main switches and main diodes. Also, the current stress on the auxiliary switch is at acceptable level. In the proposed converter, the main switch perfectly turns on with Zero Voltage Transition (ZVT) and turns off with Zero Current Transition (ZCT). Therewith, the auxiliary switch turns on with ZCS and turns off with ZVS. Additionally, the proposed converter smoothly operates under light load conditions and wide input line voltage. Another advantage of this converter is that the soft switching is achieved by just one auxiliary switch. The theoretical analysis of the proposed converter is made. The operating stages, the waveforms and the simulation results of the proposed converter operated for 1.5 kW and 100 kHz is given in detail.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"9 1","pages":"250-256"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74353864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

(+/- 5%) steady state error. A two salient pole stator, PM rotor configuration with heavily saturated stator core was necessary to reduce the machine reactances well below 1.0 p.u., while also reducing stator weight. Only a surface PM rotor with thick magnets and 0.8 PM span per pole pitch ratio produced at full load Xd=0.30p.u. Xq=0.70p.u.(end coil leakage included) which enhanced the machine power (reactive and active) to reduce the required variable capacitor that controls the generator voltage from resistive load to 0.8 lagging power factor load. The paper introduces the new topology and a preliminary sizing methodology followed by FEM characterization with steady state performance evaluation. A circuit model with parameters imported from FEM and a PI voltage control via a terminal capacitor variation is proposed and show the capability to deliver 3kW at both 3000 and 3600rpm for 0.8 power factor RL loads, with stable response to step load transients and acceptable short circuit current.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"32 1","pages":"280-286"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91096130","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Furthermore, SVPWM and SPWM are compared in terms of the using DC link voltage. Analysis of system is realized with MATLAB/Simulink program. There is not paper that together of these three control techniques are compared in terms of common results or values in literature. Permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) is used in simulations is surface mounted, bipolar and its power is 1.8 kW. However, PMSM's energy transmission to grid is made with Field Oriented Control (FOC). According to analysis results, it has been observed that SVPWM generally has more efficient results than both HCC and SPWM control technique. Also, it is observed that SVPWM can produce about 15 percent higher than SPWM in output voltage.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"28 1","pages":"69-74"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79748088","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
