The modeling is achieved by using Finite Elements Method (FEM) for healthy and asymmetric pole conditions. In this model, the motor's characteristics such as cogging torque, back electromotive force (back EMF), power, torque and magnetic force are obtained and the results are compared with the experimental results for the healthy case. Also these parameters are obtained at asymmetric pole conditions that include different magnet type and size caused by manufacturing or partial demagnetization. The back EMF harmonics and the cogging torque are analyzed for different magnet length and height.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"25 1","pages":"588-592"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73875807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Limitation of lightning surge effect remains an important task for both designers and researchers. This paper deals with the analysis of the effect of lightning surge propagation near tower structures of overhead power lines through underground networks, within voltage range of 20 kV. The research was performed based on Finite Element Method as a time domain simulation of 45 μs. The lightning current flows within a discharge channel with different lengths (15-91 m) and impedances, according various peak values (2.5-40 kA). For the lightning current modeling the 8/20 μs wave shape was applied, particularly for each peak current. It was evaluated around tower structure of power line and near underground power network, the electric potential dependency by lightning current, soil resistivity and installation depth of underground power cables. It is concluded that the effect of lightning surge propagation through underground power cables is strongly dependent by the voltage working range of the underground network and by his own parameters like length and peak current flow. The results obtained by this work give an assessment of the effect of lightning surge propagation from near tower structure of overhead power lines through underground networks within medium voltage range.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"6 1","pages":"693-698"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86827239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The goal is to develop an integrated simulation platform capable to capture faults caused by failing electronic components of the brushless exciter, as one of the key parts of these drives. The signal signature analysis is used for monitoring the operation of the excitation field fed through a full wave diode bridge rectifier with failing power diodes. Simulated faults of the synchronous machine are analyzed, focusing on one shorted rotor pole internal fault. The approach is based on the co-simulation of the synchronous motor finite element analysis (FEA) model, using ANSYS Maxwell™ software, with the brushless exciter and mechanical load models built with ANSYS Simplorer™.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"24 1","pages":"617-622"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87908690","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is induction of voltage on the pipes due to inductive, capacitive and resistive coupling between the pipelines and the HVTLs, which accelerate corrosion of pipes. In this work, we present the effect of increase in energy demand on the corrosion rate of buried steel pipelines in the vicinity of HVTLs. The corrosion penetration rate of a buried pipeline with variations in the line current of a nearby overhead single circuit transmission line of vertical geometry was computed using existing relations from literature. The results obtained showed that increase in line current increases the corrosion rate of the pipeline. It can therefore be inferred from the results that a pipeline sharing corridor with transmission lines in urban cities and industrial areas where the energy demand is high will experience greater corrosion than those in rural areas where load demand is less, assuming the same condition of soil resistivity and its composition. Also, AC corrosion mitigation system and cathodic protection criteria need to be reviewed from time to time to meet the trend in energy demand.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"62 1","pages":"299-303"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85507439","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed SMC has proved its effectiveness through the different studies. The advantage that makes such an important approach is its robustness versus the parametric and the load torque disturbances. However, this approach implies a disadvantage under actuator faults. Indeed, the faults dealt with in this paper can be summarized in the class of stator asymmetries, mainly due to static eccentricity. In order to deal with this later and to solve this problem a FTC approach has been developed. Moreover, stability of the closed-loop system is guaranteed in the sense of Lyapunov stability theorem. Results of numerical simulations state that the proposed controller is successful in achieving high PMSM currents and speed tracings performances in the presence of load torque disturbances and actuator failures.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"8 1","pages":"576-581"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86755759","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The first approach is based on Euler-Lagrange minimization of copper and friction losses of the drive. The second approach to energy demands minimization uses symmetrical trapezoidal speed profiles for rest to rest position maneuver. Both approaches are expressed analytically and respect prescribed maneuver time and prescribed acceleration computed in energy saving profile generator. Overall control system for verification complains with vector control and forced dynamics control principles and is capable of precise tracking of prescribed state variables to achieve the position set-point. Results gained show better energy management of mathematical approach.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"137 1","pages":"699-704"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89299411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This multilevel voltage source inverter consists of several series connected newly developed single phase two transistor H-Bridge inverters with separate DC sources in accordance with the required output voltage level. The topology achieves a major reduction in expensive power semiconductor transistors, which can be accomplished without compromising its performance. For example, the 5-level three phase proposed inverter employs only 12 power transistors as opposed to 24 power transistors of a functionally equivalent conventional cascaded multilevel voltage source inverter. The proposed m-level topology is analyzed theoretically in this paper with the simulation results of the 5-level topology to verify the characteristics, performance, and feasibility.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"24 1","pages":"40-45"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90089031","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A seminal topology, constituted by two bridges operating at high frequency and coupled by a transformer, has emerged as an attractive solution that fulfills the above-mentioned demands. The two most popular versions of such a topology are the Single Active Bridge (SAB) and Dual Active Bridge (DAB) converters. This paper deals with the characteristics of the two converters that are helpful in designing their input and output filters, transistors and diodes. Explicitly, the peak-to-peak ripple and the rms value of the alternate component of current at the converter input and output as well as the peak, average and rms values of current through transistors and diodes of the converter are calculated. All the quantities are expressed as a function of the load current and voltage along the operating range, by referring to an application requiring a unidirectional power flow of buck type. A comparative analysis of the design characteristics of the two converters closes the paper.","PeriodicalId":69201,"journal":{"name":"城市设计","volume":"8 1","pages":"661-668"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80140901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
