It is the only Chinese institution that awards students both UK degree and Chinese degree, so it has two sets of control, one of which is to meet all the requirements of the UK Higher Education (HE) standards and the other is to go through all the requirements of Chinese degree awarding powers. Due to its specific relationship with University of Liverpool (UoL), XJTLU is also under close scrutiny from UoL. All of these are reflected in the XJTLU internal and external Quality Assurance (QA) frameworks and procedures. This article focuses on describing and analysing how XJTLU monitors the teaching and assessment processes to meet the UK HE QA standards. Generally, the monitoring system is robust and multidimensional, involving students and peers as observers/reviewers. To understand students’ perspectives on the teaching quality and their learning experience, the university provides official channels for students to provide ratings and/ or qualitative comments on modules and instructors at the middle and the end of semester, while module instructors are expected to do reflection and revision of their teaching accordingly. In addition to that, each module instructor has to observe a peer’s class annually and engage in dialogues with the peer reviewer before and after the observation. To ensure the quality of assessment tasks and marking standards, module leaders have to actively communicate with internal moderators, UoL moderators and external moderators in the Assessment Preparation Review (APR) and Marking Moderation Review (MMR) processes. In general, the evaluation practice of teaching and assessment plays an important role in ensuring the educational quality is maintained and enhanced at XJTLU and is comparable with international best practice. So far, many disciplines at the university have been certified by international professional organizations,which strengthens the university’s global positioning, and directly improves the competitiveness of graduates in the global job market. He generally absorbed Dewey’s educational philosophy in educational theory and practice, and carried out reforms and innovations based on the actual situation in China. Thus he formed his own peculiar “life education” theory. There are fundamental differences between Tao Xingzhi and Dewey in educational philosophy. Tao Xingzhi’s educational thought is based on real life and realistic materialistic educational view; Dewey’s educational thought is an idealistic educational thought based on personal life and subjective experience. The comparison of Tao Xingzhi’s and Dewey’s educational concepts has important practical significance for whether Tao Xingzhi’s educational concept can be accurately evaluated and used for reference in practice. The international education competition in the 21st century is not only the competition of economic forces, but also the competition of social productive forces. Essentially, it’s a technological power race. A secondary qualitative research and literature review approach were used for the study, which focused on China, Japan and Malaysia. The literature review involved understanding the reasons why TNHE was able to emerge in these countries and the development of transnational collaborative higher education institutions (THEI) in these countries. In addition to this, attention is paid to the governance, quality and some of the challenges of inequality in these countries in TNHE. From the extensive literature obtained, we learn that China is opening up to enhance its higher education; Japan, traumatised by the economic crisis, is trying to recover its position by relying on transnational cooperation; and Malaysia is striving to internationalise higher education and pursue a high-quality higher education system. In addition, the paper analyses the monitoring and quality assurance issues of TNHE and the need for governments or institutions in different regions to take into account local educational development, culture, regional development and resource mix. The purpose is to point out the obvious and potential problems as to affective education and contribute to improvement. The principal instrument was a questionnaire developed by the author. Semi-structured questionnaire was carried out in Zibo city -- 110 students in two secondary schools have participated in this small-scale research. In this research, a lot of cases have shown that the school and teachers still paid much attention to the academic development and affective education is basically ‘blind area’. His thought is summed up as Machiavellianism later. His point of view fits into the dominion strategy of Feudal Chinese Emperor, which can be concluded as confucianism and legalism. Through the analysis of Machiavellianism from the oriental perspective, we find that the art of imperial rule whether western or eastern happen to share the same view. Through out the history of ancient China, analogous to Machiavellianism, Legalism had been proved useful in rule since early. Based on the statistical data of real estate industry in various regions, this paper selects nine indicators, such as the number of enterprises, the average number of employees, the land purchase area (10000 square meters) in this year, to evaluate and analyze the benefit of real estate industry in 31 regions of China by using two-stage super efficiency model. The results show that the input-output of the real estate industry in 17 regions is effective, and the remaining 14 regions are DEA ineffective. The existing problem regarding the part-time teachers in current application-oriented universities are the low proportion of part-time teachers, a shortage of high level part-time teachers, the absence of relevant laws and regulations, a lack of systematic policies or financial support for part-time teachers as well as the unsound management mechanism with insufficient scientific and reasonable employment scheme for part-time teachers. To strengthen the team construction of the part-time teachers in application-oriented universities, firstly we should improve the existing laws, regulations and policies and broaden the financial support channels. Secondly, we should develop the recruitment channels for part-time teachers and pay attention to introducing high-tech and highly-skilled talents. Thirdly, we should improve the management over part-time teachers and promote their value. Measures should put in place to ensure that obtaining an education is made possible for all students, including foreign students, such as English speakers in China and Chinese speakers in the United Kingdom. The biggest obstacle to making this dream a reality is that very few educators are sufficiently equipped to understand the foundational knowledge with regards to teaching learners of speaking a different language from the regional language, raising the need for target language acquisition. This paper will look into the Acculturation model of second language acquisition and Stephen Krashen's theory of second language acquisition. Since educators are increasingly being forced to teach students speaking foreign languages understanding second language acquisition is very important.
