The feature size of conventional MOSFET using SiO2 has approached their physical limits where the oxide thickness should not reach below 2nm due to high leakage current and the tunnelling increase drastically. Therefore, it is difficult to scale down the size of the MOSFET meanwhile improve its performance. Instead of reducing the size of the transistor, it can make the changes to the parameter, such as the channel length, oxide thickness, and channel width. However, these may affect the performance of the device. Hence, the replacement of SiO<inf>2</inf> with other high-k dielectric material has been analyzed. The material used in the analysis including SiO<inf>2</inf>, Al<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf>, HfO<inf>2</inf>, Ta<inf>2</inf>O<inf>5</inf>, and La<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf>. The characteristic of subthreshold leakage current was tested through simulation using MATLAB. Like all the other countries, Bangladesh is experiencing a steady growth in the tourism sector, producing economic benefits as well as employment opportunities. This paper describes the entire process comprising the theory and software implementation of a tour planner Android application. Our proposed tour planner application has been designed to overcome the primary challenges of travel and tourism by reducing the stress of the traveler and making a simple tour planning concerning individual user demand. This Android application is basically a personalized travel guide, where users can arrange a tour based on their budget and duration of the estimated travel. In this work, the front-end part of the application has been designed by the React Native framework. Apollo Client library has been used to connect the front-end app with the back-end express server. Several functions, e.g., Bcrypt, JSON Web Token, and cookie-parser have been utilized to provide security of the application. Metal-Insulator-Metal type of sensor is designed with gold metal electrodes and silicon nitrate dielectric as insulator with a thickness of 10 µm. The pressure sensor design is based on the parallel-plate capacitive configuration in which the membrane deflects due to the input pressure, resulting in the change in the air gap and capacitance. The sensitivity is calculated based on the change in capacitance for various input pressure. The membrane deflection, capacitance and sensitivity of the pressure sensors are simulated and analyzed upon variations in input pressure, membrane material and membrane geometry using ANSYS. The input pressure range exerted on the membrane is from 0 kPa to 200 kPa. Flexible membrane materials simulated and analyzed are silicon carbide, silicon nitrate, aluminum oxide and aluminum nitride with three membrane geometries: circular, square and octagonal. From the simulation results of various membrane geometries and membrane materials, the most suitable configuration of the MEMS Capacitive Pressure Sensor is circular membrane made of silicon nitrate which has the highest sensitivity of 9.18 x 10-18 pF/Pa at 200 kPa. In a previous study, a simulation model for the tension of the mooring lines was established and validated; this study examines the point absorber heaving motions in response to the mooring lines. The purpose of this paper is to provide a method for simulating heaving motions that is suitable for a complete examination of the heave motion response of the device, coupled with mooring lines to the bottom using a one-body and two-body point absorber. The case study is a cylindrical floating-point absorber with one, two, three, and four distributed mooring lines configured in catenary or taut configuration. The dynamics of the point absorber are simulated and analysed in the time domain utilising various mooring line configurations by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software modelling methodologies. A detailed response analysis is conducted on a Malaysian low wave condition in shallow water, and the results are compared for one and two-body point absorber systems. The modelling procedure using a two-body with four mooring lines is indicated as the ideal method for capturing the interaction between the WEC system's components, which has been proved to be crucial for evaluating heave response. The average heaving response of four mooring lines with catenary configuration is preferred since it indicates the device's heaving response in comparison to others. The results indicated that a two-body point absorber Response Amplitude Operator (RAO) is more efficient at absorbing low wave heights in four catenary mooring lines configurations. Since the assessment of PCG signal that acquired from stethoscope is essential to be conducted for heart disease early diagnosis, numbers of work have been put into effort including computing aided methods such as classification of PCG signal abnormality, and predictive system of heart condition. This work however, proposed to develop a PCG signal acquisition device that able to segment the signal thus diagnose the heart condition within two parties: user and healthcare professionals. Initially, a heart sound sensor was used to collect the PCG signals that controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller. Fast Fourier transform and power spectral density were applied on the signals to find the frequency range of the normal and pathological PCG. It was found that pathological PCG signals produced higher frequency than that of the normal PCG signals. Furthermore, detection of the S1 and S2 peak location in both normal and pathological PCG signals convinced the significant difference with the presence of murmur. Apart from the detection of S1 and S2 peak’s location, power spectrum of the PCG signals were stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) as cloud system which able to be accessed by authorized person. The thin layer of CNTs can be a platform to develop a sensor. In order to create a thin layer CNT thin film, deposition is needed. There are different deposition methods like dip coating, drop casting, thermal evaporation and spray coating. Spray coating is the most promising method because it is simple, scalable, and fast, resulting in homogeneously continuous and thin layers of CNTs thin film. However, there is no standard deposition system to control the spray coating parameters for direct injection deposition method currently. Also, lack of data on the spraying setting and parameter to spray a uniform CNTs thin film using artist airbrush. This paper presents the development of a deposition system based on airbrush spray coating technique to form thin and uniform CNTs thin films. Development of the deposition system consists of electronic hardware based on Arduino microcontroller which is integrated with mechanical hardware structures designed with 3D printing. The program software is developed through the Arduino IDE application. The system is integrated and tested for functionality and validation of the developed programming’s correct operation. Based on the experiment done, the average thickness of the thin film obtained is 4.12nm. The optimum spraying setting is established to produce a uniform monolayer of highly conductive CNTs thin film. However, FPGAs based systems are subjected to vulnerabilities due to the side channel attacks. Recent studies have shown that vulnerabilities such as power leakage and long wires leakage can be utilised to extract secret key or information from the FPGAs. Which becomes a critical security concern for the data and Machine Learning model executing on the cloud computing service and data centres that includes FPGAs in their systems. Malicious users in these systems may utilised these vulnerabilities to perform a power side channel attacks to get confidential information or to create a malicious shutdown attack towards the systems. In this review paper, we presented the most recent side channel attacks focusing on power leakage and long wire leakage. One of the recent emerging technology which makes the system nonlinear is electric vehicle charging stations. This research work aims to optimize the PI controller with a voltage-oriented controller-based Vienna rectifier for electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS). With the trial and error method for EV charging stations, the PI controller parameters K_p and K_i values, the error values such as integral square error (ISE) and integral absolute error (IAE), system parameters such as rise time settling time, and peak overshoot values are extremely high in the Vienna rectifier based VOC system. Due to the increased system parameters, the stability of the system has been reduced, which approaches a reduction in the system efficiency. The system parameters must be mitigated to provide stable operation to overcome the aforementioned issues with EV charging stations. In this research work, the PSO optimization-based PI controller for EV charging stations has been proposed. The proposed PSO-PI controller optimizes the control parameters and reduces the error values to make the system more stable. The proposed system is simulated and optimized using MATLAB software. Globally, IT Professionals were forced to adapt and innovate rapidly in response to the pandemic and have devised a variety of IT solutions to ease peoples’ transitions into the new normal. There are 4 major categories of IT-based COVID-19 solutions, namely contact tracing, quarantine management, symptom monitoring and information provision. However, most of these applications only focus on contact tracing as opposed to preventing the spread of the virus through the enforcement of social distancing. This paper presents a conceptual model for virtual queuing system, MyQueue which allows its users to enter virtual queues by scanning unique QR codes of various premises. The device is adaptable with very high frequency (VHF), a global positioning system (GPS) and additional devices used in a ship. The proposed A-AIS system can easily track a ship and able to reduce the collision between two ships. Authority can easily track as well as can access the information about that specific ship by this device.
