However, few eco-city standards can be found in terms of urban planning which plays an essential part in guiding and controlling the development of a city. Beginning from studies of eco-city theories, practices and indicator systems from both China and abroad, the study analyzes the current situation in Wuhan city and put forward a feasible framework of eco-city planning indicators for Wuhan city by integrating the concept of eco-city development into the current planning system. The objective of the research is to realize the control and regulation over the various stages and hierarchies of urban planning in a bid to guide the urban planning and eco-city development in Wuhan city.","PeriodicalId":6349,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Mechanic Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"82 1","pages":"4480-4483"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77310251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Different from the conventional first-order derivative method dealing with a small variation of parameters, in this paper, a global SA method considering random distributions of parameters is presented. Ratio of response's coefficient of variation (CV) to parameter's CV is defined as the global sensitivity index, which can be obtained by carrying out uncertainty assessment on structural responses with respect to given uncertainties of parameters. An artificial neural networks embedded Monte Carlo method is applied for the uncertainty analysis. Finally, application of the proposed global SA method in cantilever erection practice of a cable-stayed bridge is presented, and importance of material parameters and load parameters for structural responses obtained.","PeriodicalId":6349,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Mechanic Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"61 1","pages":"1306-1309"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90409201","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The effect of rare earth Y addition on microstructure of the coatings was investigated by means of X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Optical Microscope (OM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Electron Probe Micro-Analysis (EPMA). The results show that the coatings with Y mainly consist of a great amount of α-Ti cellular dendrites and few coarse/fine needle-shaped TiB, equiaxial TiC and spherical Y2O3 particles. A small amount of Y (1–3 wt.%) added to the coatings can refine the microstructure, improve the microstructural uniformity and increase the volume fraction of eutectics, which will endow the coatings with more excellent mechanical properties, such as higher strength, microhardness and toughness. When the addition content of Y varies from 2 wt.% to 3 wt.%, the microstructure of the coatings presents no significant difference except that the volume fraction of eutectics is increased gradually.","PeriodicalId":6349,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Mechanic Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"19 1","pages":"130-133"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78634544","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A few feature points can be extracted from large number of original data quickly. This algorithm consists of three steps: discrete curvature computing, bilateral filtering process and feature points detecting. The number of feature points can be controlled by scale parameter approximately. After we got two feature point sets, an exhaustive searching process was carried out for maximal congruent triangles between two feature point sets, with which rotation and translation matrix could be computed easily to register original data sets. Although the exhaustive search is a time-consuming process, we still got high running speed by controlling the number of feature points.","PeriodicalId":6349,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Mechanic Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"5 1","pages":"5803-5806"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89891330","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, the Pd-B/TiO2 amorphous alloy was prepared by liquid phase chemical reduction method. The Pd-B/TiO2 amorphous alloy was characterized by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), x-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The results show that amorphous alloy Pd-B was formed with the size of around 10 nm, and exhibits better dispersion on the surface of TiO2 support. The catalytic activity of Pd-B/TiO2 on the thermal decomposition of ammonium perchlorate (AP) was investigated by simultaneous thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA). The results show that Pd-B/TiO2 exhibits better catalytic activity on the thermal decomposition of AP. Enriched electron state of Pd active sites and high dispersion of the Pd-B active sites on TiO2 support are mainly responsible for the improvement of catalytic activity of Pd-B/TiO2 amorphous alloy catalyst. In addition, the possible mechanism of Pd-B/TiO2 catalytic activity on the thermal decomposition of AP was also discussed.","PeriodicalId":6349,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Mechanic Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"81 1","pages":"3675-3678"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81250661","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A mathematical model was made to indicate the variation of membrane flux with MLSS with different operations. The result showed that: the membrane flux not only related with MLSS but also with other operating conditions. Under different operating conditions, with the variation of temperature(14°C, 23°C, 31°C)and pressure (10kPa, 20kPa, 30kPa), the membrane flux decreased with the increasing of MLSS and the membrane flux has the positive associations with temperature and pressure under certain MLSS. In order to describe the tendency, we analyzed the relationship and set a mathematical model of membrane flux and MLSS under different operation conditions of temperature and pressure. From the model we found the membrane flux has the negative correlation with MLSS under every operation condition. The membrane flux decreased with the increasing of MLSS which also proves the increasing of temperature and pressure is better for the increasing of in membrane flux.","PeriodicalId":6349,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Mechanic Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"40 1","pages":"5829-5833"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75620139","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
