In this context, we present a time-shifted prefetching solution that prefetches content during off-peak periods of network connectivity. We specifically focus on YouTube as it represents a significant portion of overall cellular data-usage. Collection technique plays a crucial role in defining the application QoS. In this paper, we propose a novel data collection framework to serve different applications used for critical infrastructure monitoring. The proposed framework adopts a context-aware forwarding strategy to ensure higher delivery reliability. The overall cost of data collection is significantly low due to the incorporation of in-network data aggregation and fusion on demand basis. A key challenge in mmWave networking is maintaining beam alignment under device mobility such as rotation or translation. We present LiSteer, a novel system which acquires and steers mmWave beams at mobile devices by repurposing indicator LEDs on wireless Access Points (APs) to passively acquire direction estimates using off-the-shelf light sensors, and demonstrate that LiSteer maintains beam alignment at the narrowest beamwidth level even in case of device mobility, without incurring any training overhead at mobile devices.
