Previous studies typically address this issue by artificially manipulating the properties of stimuli or task demands. Having brought valuable insights into the neurobiology of language, this psychological experimental approach may still fail to characterize semantic information with high resolution, and have difficulty quantifying context information and high-level concepts. The recently-developed natural language processing (NLP) techniques provide tools to represent the discrete semantics in the form of vectors, enabling automatic extraction of word semantics and even the information of context and syntax. Recent studies have applied NLP techniques to model the semantic of stimuli, and mapped the semantic vectors onto brain activities through representational similarity analyses or linear regression. A consistent finding is that the semantic information is represented by a vastly distributed network across the frontal, temporal and occipital cortices. Future studies may adopt multi-modal neural networks and knowledge graphs to extract richer information of semantics, apply NLP models to automatically assess the language ability of special groups, and improve the interpretability of deep neural network models with neurocognitive findings.","PeriodicalId":62025,"journal":{"name":"心理科学进展","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69741653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such decisions are commonly measured by \"intertemporal preference\" in the field of behavioral decision-making. Actually, the most important and crucial kind of intertemporal decision making relevant to survival and development are intertemporal choice with double-dated mix outcomes. However, existing intertemporal preferences measure by paradigms with pure gain outcomes was found to be poor predictors of far-sighted behavior in real life. Besides, mature theoretical models of intertemporal choice could not satisfactorily explain people's real intertemporal preferences. To better describe and explain people's intertemporal preferences with double-dated mixed outcomes, the present project intends to: 1) synthesize indicators of intertemporal choice with double-dated mixed outcomes by using two different logics, providing predictive indicators for model comparison; 2) develop a new ecological paradigm of measuring intertemporal choice with double-dated outcomes, aiming to provide a more ecological and predictive measurement for the development of following research; 3) adopt the Mouselab and eye-tracking technique to test which model could more satisfactorily explain intertemporal preference with double-dated outcomes, the utility comparison model or the attribute-comparison model.","PeriodicalId":62025,"journal":{"name":"心理科学进展","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69741749","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there is a lack of research and clinical predictive models for the common mechanisms of emotion processing and social intention inference underlying social anxiety. The current project aims to use a combination of behavioral experiments, functional magnetic resonance imaging, and computational modeling to systematically examine the mechanisms of negative cognitive biases in SAD. Based on classic biological motion paradigms targeting emotion processing and social intention inference, combining the facial expressions, we aim to establish predictive models of SAD clinical symptoms based on multi-dimensional data. This project has the prospect of revealing the psychopathology underlying SAD, examining the association between behavioral and neuroimaging data underlying mental disorders, and promoting objective classification and prediction of mental disorders.","PeriodicalId":62025,"journal":{"name":"心理科学进展","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69741146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
