For the past two decades, intravenous destruction techniques, laser therapy, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy (UGFS) are some of these intravenous techniques which have been used as an alternative to the surgical removal of saphenous varicose veins. This cross-sectional analytical study was performed on 35 patients with venous insufficiency of the lower extremities who were referred to Razi Hospital Vascular Surgery Clinic, during the first 6 months of 2019. Patients were treated with RF and UGFS which were performed by a vascular surgeon. A checklist with necessary information was prepared for patients individually. The sexual frequency of patients with 25 cases (71.4%) was male and 10 cases (28.6%) were female. Totally, 25 cases (71.4%) were treated by sclerotherapy method and 10 cases (28.6%) were treated by RF. The results of our study showed that there was no significant difference in Ddimer within 24 hours before the surgery (P = 0.625) but the mean of Ddimer one week and two weeks after surgery showed a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).The results of our study showed that the level of D-dimer 24 hours before the surgery was not significantly different between the two treatment methods, however, one and two weeks after the surgery, the level of D-dimer was significantly higher in patients receiving sclerotherapy and RF with no difference in the final side effects of the two treatment methods.

The second patient had right lower extremity ischemia and abdominal aortic FFT. This patient underwent open aortic and right femoral thromboembolectomy. The third patient had mesenteric ischemia and FFT of abdominal aorta. This patient was managed by resection and anastomosis of small intestine, splenectomy and anticoagulation. This study aims to observe the proportion and characteristics of CKD stage V patients undergoing AV-shunt.\u0000\u0000Method: This research is a retrospective descriptive study describing the data of patients with CKD who underwent the procedure of AV-shunt installation from the medical record department of RSUP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar during the period January 2017 to December 2018. From the data obtained, it was recorded gender, age, number of CKD patients, number of CKD patients undergoing AV-shunt, postoperative complications, surgical failure, and pre comorbid factors of CKD patients (Diabetes Mellitus and Uric Acid).\u0000\u0000Results: The results of this study show the facts in 2 years of observation, there were 327 people affected by CKD in Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo, and only 40.97% of patients who underwent the AV-shunt procedure. CKD sufferers were dominated by male sex (n = 204; 62.4%) compared to female (n = 123; 37.6%). In percentage, male patients underwent AV- shunt (44%) greater than females (37%). Atherosclerosis is one of which is assessed by the ankle-brachial index (ABI). The occurrence of endothelial dysfunction can be identified indirectly from the examination of flow-mediated dilatation (FMD) via doppler ultrasound. This study was conducted to determine whether there is a correlation between the ankle-brachial index examination with ultrasound examinations of the dorsalis pedis artery and posterior tibial arteries in diabetic foot sufferers.\u0000\u0000Method: The study design was a cross-sectional prospective conducted on 11th November – 15th December 2014 at Cipto Mangungkusumo National Hospital, Fatmawati National Hospital, and Tangerang Hospital. Patients who did not have a precise diagnosis and had undergone a major amputation of the leg examined were excluded from the study.\u0000\u0000Results: From the Spearman non-parametric correlation analysis test results obtained significant results on the correlation between ABI and posterior tibial artery volume flow (VF) (p=0.021). About 15% of patients with diabetic foot can have an amputation in the lower limb. Diabetic foot is a health problem that is very difficult to cure. This is further exacerbated by severe conditions of infection and disrupt the process of tissue regeneration, so amputation must be done to prevent the spread of infection. Infection that is not well controlled can inhibit all phases of wound healing. This study aimed to know the relationship between laboratory profile and wound healing in diabetic foot ulcer patients.\u0000\u0000Method: This was a cross-sectional study with research subjects who were diabetic foot ulcer patients who went to the emergency room and the Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital polyclinic during August-December 2019. Statistical analysis was performed to see the correlation between changes in infection marker values and changes in the wound area.\u0000\u0000Results: During the period August 2019 to December 2019, 30 subjects met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. There were 14 subjects (46.77%) male and 16 subjects (53.3%) female. From the diagnosis, there were 20 subjects (66.3%) with ulcer pedis and ten subjects (33.3%) gangrene pedis. From this study, the average and standard deviation of changes in ABI values were 0.9080 ± 0.100, changes in the number of leukocytes amounted to 4899.87 ± 4512.048, changes in ESR values was 1.8333 ± 1.147, changes in CRP values was 2.6500 ± 1.702, changes in wound area was 10.2727 ± 6.512, and albumin was 2.9487 ± 0.392. From the correlative analysis, it was found between changes in the number of leukocytes with changes in wound area (p=0.058, r=0.350), changes in ESR values with changes in wound area (p=0.034, r=0.388), and changes in CRP values with changes in wound area (p=0.008, r=0.477).\u0000\u0000Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between changes in ESR values and CRP values with moderate correlation strength changes in the wound area.
