Moreover, these DC-DC converters not suitable for power factor correction, constant output voltage and to reduce harmonic distortion. In order to avoid drawbacks of basic DC-DC converters, three advanced DC-DC converters are studied in this article, namely, SEPIC, Zeta and Landsman converters. These converters work as Buck-Boost converters based on load requirement. The P&O MPPT technique is used to track the fast change of solar irradiances by the iterative process. Furthermore, it is used for the soft starting of squirrel cage induction motor. These converters output given to three-phase Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) to run the induction motor drive. In this paper, an internet of things based road monitoring system (IoT-RMS) is proposed to identify the potholes and humps in the road. The pathway which is affected by the pothole is greatly influenced by the scattering signal of the ultrasonic sensor. So the magnitude of the reflected signal decreased due to the roughness of the surface and the signal amplitude is difficult to analyze. The Kirchofft's theory basically applied for real-time analysis and it has certain limitations. To overcome this difficulty, an accelerometer has been included with the ultrasonic sensor to measure variation present in the signal and optimized using honey bee optimization (HBO) technique. The IoT-RMS automatically updates the status of the road with location information in the cloud. Each road vehicles can access the information from the server and estimate the speed according to the potholes and humps present on the road. The simulation has been done and the result shows that the IoT-RMS can be accommodated in road vehicles to reduce the accidents. These issues have resulted in the emergence of new technologies of distributed energy resources (DER) like Photo-Voltaic, Biomass, Hydroelectric power, Wind energy system on abundant scale. Wind Energy Conversion (WEC) system is one of the rapidly emerging technique to use renewable energy source. For integrating these WEC systems into the main power grid, the conventional line frequency step-up transformer plays an important role. Recently, efforts have being taken to use advanced power electronics based Solid State Transformers (SST) instead of conventional line frequency transformers. The concept of SST interfaced Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based WEC system is exhibited in this paper. Installation of SST in place of conventional line frequency transformer in WEC systems has certain advantages like: reactive power compensation, smooth voltage conversion, active power transfer, etc. This paper reviews about different types of WEC systems, types of SST topologies along with types of SST interfaced WEC systems. The basic purpose of the research is to examine the employee's perception on green recruitment, green training and green performance management practices. The study was conducted in four major IT hubs in Tamil nadu as Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy and the perception was analysed using Structural Equation Model (SEM). This paper describes about the passenger satisfaction on the quality service provided by the railway department(RAILQUAL). The quality of service are provided by means of Information Communcation Technology (ICT) such as ticket booking, pnr status, query handling, informed train delay, trains status, etc.by railway department are measured. This study is to identify the satisfaction of passengers performance of the Indian Railways using ICT. The study area covers passengers of different occupations who travelling frequently in Tiruchi railway station. The primary data were collected from 155 repondents to assess the quality of service using RAILQUAL instrument. The data were collected by interview method and interpreted using percentage analysis and factor analysis. It is found that the respondents are fairly satisfied with the quality service offered by the railway department(RAILQUAL) through ICT. We use Granger causality test to find the relationship between the Google trends data and the index returns. For this study, the adjusted closing prices of Nifty 50 data for period of one year from December 2016 to December 2017 is used to calculate the weekly index return and the Google trend data for India for the keywords ‘bull market’ and ‘bear market’ is taken. The system consists of a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) operated by a SWT which is interfaced to the load through a rectification stage and boost converter. The proposed optimizing system is based on the relationship between the dc link power and voltage, which are used to obtain the required inductor current in the boost converter to provide optimized power output at all wind speeds. The optimizing system, the boost converter and current control are explained in detail. Simulation of the system operating under varying wind conditions is presented, showing the performance of the developed current control optimization algorithm.
