The paper discusses some of the problems associated with a project involving several emulsions and in which photography of the inter tidal area must be achieved as near low water as possible. Preliminary results confirm that, in general, colour and false colour photographs improve both the speed and reliability of interpretation when compared to monochrome photographs. \u0000 \u0000Resume \u0000 \u0000En aout 1966 une serie de photographies aeriennes, prise de cinq combinaisons film/filtre, fut obtenue de l'estuaire de la riviere Dyfi, sur la cote de la baie de Cardigan. On discute dans cette communication quelques problemes entrainees dans un projet avec plusieurs emulsions et dans lequel la photographie de la zone de rivage intercotidals doit etre executee aussi pres de la maree basse que possible. Over 100 soil model tests have been performed on about 12 different types of soil stability problem during this period. Tests have been monitored by a closed circuit TV system; two Zeiss (Jena) UMK 10/1318 cameras and a powerful flash unit have been employed to provide a succession of stereopairs. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000A brief summary of the theory of soil model similarity is presented, together with a description of the tests and their photographic and photogrammetric requirements. A method of recording measurements using a Kelsh plotter with a resulting accuracy of ± 0.2 mm is demonstrated. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Settlement/heave gravity curves, resulting from photogrammetric measurements, are illustrated. Wahrend dieser Zeit wurden uber 100 Boden-Modell-Versuche zu etwa 12 verschiedenen Varianten des Boden-Stabilitatsproblems durchgefuhrt. Die Versuche werden durch ein Fernsehsystem uberwacht. Zwei Universal-messkammern UMK 10/1318 des VEB Carl Zeiss Jena und ein leistungsfahiges Blitzgerat werden zur Aufnahme einer Folge von Stereobildern verwendet. Kurze Zusammenfassung der Grundlagen der Theorie der Simulation mit Boden-Modellen. Die Versuche sowie ihre photographischen und photogrammetrischen Anforderungen werden beschrieben. Ein Auswerteverfahren, bei dem die Messungen mit einer Genauigkeit von 0.2 mm mit Hilfe eines Kelsh-Plotters durchgefuhrt werden, wird demonstriert. Darstellung von Setzungs- bzw. This paper reports a series of practical tests which compare the method with the use of a continuous film processing machine. Comparisons are also made with an earlier report on the same subject. Variations obtained along the length and across the width of 240 mm wide film are given.
