Sarancha","doi":"10.25128/2520-6230.22.2.8","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.25128/2520-6230.22.2.8","url":null,"abstract":"On the basis of the analysis of the existing philosophical, sociological, psychological and pedagogical approaches there was the theoretical analysis of the domestic and foreign scientific works on the problem of social and psychological maladaptation carried out, there were the external and internal factors of formation of social and psychological maladaptation of the persons with disabilities substantiated. As a result of the theoretical analysis of socio-psychological maladaptation, there are the main elements of this personality trait identified, namely: maladaptive types of the internal picture of the disease and coping strategies, negative trends in self-concept (low or contradictory self-esteem, lack of self-confidence, inexpressive self-acceptance, etc.), destructive emotional states, low level of socio-psychological tolerance. Social factors that cause the emergence of socio-psychological maladaptation include the following: inferiority and dysfunction of the family, lack of education or its low level, impossibility of the professional fulfilment.\u0000\u0000There were the psychodiagnostic tools compiled and the peculiarities of social and psychological maladaptation of the persons with the acquired and congenital disabilities empirically studied. Parents' understanding of the problems of raising children is an important component of family well-being. But today, most conflicts occur precisely in the family environment between spouses and between parents and children. Therefore, the problem of prevention of family dysfunction is an urgent problem for modern society.\u0000\u0000The article is devoted to the problems of family dysfunction and its consequences for Ukrainian society; scientific and theoretical provisions for social prevention of family dysfunction are defined and it is emphasized that indicators of family dysfunction are related to economic, social, psychological, and personal reasons. Taking into account the key indicators of disadvantage, the following types of dysfunctional families and their impact on the state of the family are distinguished: conflict, pedagogically incompetent, immoral, antisocial; the terms denoting the phenomenon of family dysfunction were analyzed: dysfunctional family, destructive, dysfunctional, problematic, crisis and family with risks.\u0000\u0000The authors emphasize that one of the leading directions of social work with the family is the prevention of family dysfunction, which is carried out through strengthening the institution of the family, preparing young people for married life, forming family values ​​in young people, popularizing the model of responsible parenthood, and which promotes the realization of rights and freedoms of the child, creation of favorable conditions for its development, formation of universal human values, the satisfaction of material and spiritual needs of people. Social prevention of family dysfunction involves a set of measures by social institutions of the community aimed at prevention, limitation and mitigation of risk factors, correction of parents' behavior associated with a threat to the health and social well-being of family members, as well as rehabilitation of those who have experienced its consequences. The activities of social workers are aimed at creating social conditions to meet the needs and interests of families. {"title":"REFLECTION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST PEOPLE OF RESPECTABLE AGE AS A SOCIAL PROBLEM OF MODERNITY","authors":"B. Balogová, J. Therefore, the purpose of the article is the need for timely social prevention of violence against people of respectable age. The structure and content of social support of people of respectable age in modern society are analyzed. \u0000Statistics confirm that Ukraine is one of the countries with a significant population over the age of sixty. Statistics also confirm the existence of domestic violence against elderly people and these individuals do not seek help from social services. It was found that the issues of ill-treatment of elderly people are currently the most common in the professional discourse of social assistance. There is a strong correlation between the two interpretations: in the context of health care and social assistance. This is one of the reasons why we focused primarily on the interpretation of human rights and the application of the legislative and political approach. The socio-pedagogical conditions that help prevent the treatment of elderly people are presented and the leading factor is the need to adopt legislation on human rights in this category. \u0000The rights of respectable people are not yet fully regulated by a separate international human rights instrument, as is the case for some other vulnerable groups (eg the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities). Spirina","doi":"10.25128/2520-6230.22.1.5","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.25128/2520-6230.22.1.5","url":null,"abstract":"Today, social advocacy is an effective tool for social change that influences attitudes, relations in the society, strengthens civil society, and contributes to the opening of democratic spaces for the implementation of best practices in social work and social equality. Social workers are aiming at helping people who are suffering from unemployment, violations of rights, difficult life circumstances, discrimination, etc. Thus social workers are in the constant process of individual work with vulnerable groups and often use interest representation as an intervention (protection of rights, representation of interests of individuals/groups of people to gain access to services, etc). \u0000 \u0000The article analyzes several legal provisions that regulate advocacy, in particular, determining the basic rights of citizens and their associations. An algorithm for a successful advocacy campaign to represent the interests of vulnerable groups is proposed, which consists of eight stages (identification of social problems and goal setting, problem analysis, and goal setting, targeting, finding and identifying allies, identifying resources, creating a work plan, implementing a plan, monitoring and evaluation). \u0000 \u0000The peculiarities and difficulties that may arise during the planning and implementation of the advocacy campaign are identified (weakness of the initiative group working on advocacy campaign planning; refusals and inaction of a certain \"target\" (representative of the authority)) advocacy team); too long campaign and, as a result, exhaustion of the initiative group; difficult confrontations of stakeholders who resist and have strong ties to the government; the unfavorable political situation for the social problem that needs to be solved; corruption schemes). Therefore, it is critical to focus on the systematic information component of the campaign (through constant communication with stakeholders), the availability of information to be conveyed to the target audience, be an attentive and timely response to arguments, and evidence of vulnerable groups affected by advocacy. The article reveals the features of providing assistance to such persons both during active hostilities and in safe places. Thus, it considers the concept of first aid, which is a necessary step to overcome post-traumatic stress disorders and other disorders, as well as part of the rehabilitation process. \u0000The concepts of «social rehabilitation» and «social adaptation» are outlined, namely internally displaced persons. It was determined that social rehabilitation and social adaptation are interdependent and complementary processes that have certain common goals and methods and technologies to achieve these goals. \u0000Recommendations for the provision of social services for IDPs that will promote social rehabilitation and social adaptation are described. The stages of the adaptation process underlying J. Gullahorn's theory of assessing the adaptation strategies of IDPs are described. \u0000The means of museum activity which can be used during the process of social rehabilitation and social adaptation of IDPs are presented. Among them the author(s) elucidate the project «Cultural-recreational-tourist Cherkasy region: inclusive-social 3D-map» with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, which is designed for both offline and online use. The world museums, whose exhibits are available online are also presented. \u0000The fact is taken into account that in order to cope with this challenge an interdisciplinary team is needed, able to create a set of measures that will contribute to the psychophysiological state of the individual. It is established that the existence of different approaches to understanding the concept of «social expectations of young people» is a reflection of the evolution of the phenomenon itself. The concept of «social expectations» does not have a clear theoretical and methodological definition, which complicates the implementation of the procedure of monitoring and evaluation of its results, in particular in martial law and postwar. It was found that the determinants of their implementation may be the characteristics of the young person (age, gender, region and place of residence). \u0000It is shown that the focus on the future reflects promising areas of realization of social expectations. In the process of acquiring generic and specific competencies and determining learning outcomes, it is important to develop a system of observations that will allow to respond quickly to problems arising in educational practice. The article presents the results of monitoring the ability to make responsible decisions by future specialists of engineering specialties. The virtual educational environment ATutor of Ternopil Ivan Pulyuy National Technical University (Ukraine), created on the basis of the learning management system, has been used for data collection. The results of the study led to identifying the differences in the algorithm of responsible decision-making by students of engineering specialties depending on gender, year of study and the specifics of the chosen specialty. All these factors are to be taken into account in pedagogical practice for the formation of professional responsibility. A phronestic approach to understanding the content and essence of professional responsibility in the anthropogenic environment has been discussed. This approach takes into consideration the specifics of ethical knowledge and focuses on sustainable individual priorities to determine personal responsibility in a particular situation in accordance with social needs. The necessity of reconsideration of responsibility as an element of phronestic knowledge is substantiated; its importance in the training of future engineering specialists is specified. It is confirmed in the new Law of Ukraine, \"About Social Services,\" adopted in 2019. The document defines the organizational and legal framework for the provision of social services, which aim not only to overcome difficult life circumstances but also to prevent them. However, the term \"prevention of difficult life circumstances\" needs to be clarified. \u0000The article analyzes the fundamental concepts of \"difficult life circumstances\" and \"social prevention\", which allowed us to interpret the definition of \"prevention of difficult life circumstances\". It has been found that the effectiveness of prevention depends not only on reducing risk factors but also on strengthening the protective factors that are most closely related to the problem. \u0000The types of prevention of difficult life circumstances are described, and possible measures are identified that will contribute to the realization of the goals and objectives of each type. The purpose of this paper is to present the results of analysis of dissertation texts for obtaining the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Speciality 231 \"Social Work\". \u0000As of February 1, 2022, data on 18 PhD dissertations defended in specialized one-time councils in the speciality \"Social Work\" were found in the public domain. The content of 17 dissertations and one dissertation registration card is analysed. The results of qualitative content analysis are grouped into four topics: thematic focus; methodological approaches; theoretical basis, ethics and research methods; approbation of research results. \u0000It is established that the authors of a significant part of dissertations formulated the subject of research in accordance with the traditions of social pedagogy, focusing on target audiences of young age, forming an environment of professional training of social workers in higher education and socio-pedagogical aspects of solving tasks. It was found that most of the dissertation texts were presented in a manner typical of research in domestic social pedagogy. The results of the online surveys \"Environmental rights of children and youth\" and \"Assessment of the level of legal culture of Ukrainian youth\" are highlighted, a meaningful continuum of legal self-awareness is determined, which covers the general civilizational and personal significance of the rights of every young person. Attitudes towards the environmental rights of children and youth were differentiated in the age groups 10-13; 14 - 19; 20 - 24; 25 - 29; 30 - 34; 35 - 40; 41 - 50; 51 years and older. 1014 respondents took part in the survey from December 7, 2020 to May 17, 2021. The content of the survey already in the process of its implementation drew the attention of respondents to the perception of an important factor in the rights of young people in the future decades of the XXI century. The substantial expansion of indicators of legal culture was carried out in the developed questionnaire \"Assessment of the level of legal culture of Ukrainian youth\", intended for use in different age groups 10 - 13; 14 - 19; 20 - 24; 25 - 29; 30 - 34; 35 - 40; 41 - 50; 51 years and older. The poll conducted by him represents the attitude of the majority of Ukrainian citizens to their own rights and responsibilities. 190 respondents were interviewed from December 7, 2020 to May 17, 2021. The study revealed previously unknown relations of public attitudes, and generalized results were used in the practical work of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, the Representative of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights. , deoccupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol of national minorities and interethnic relations.
