Penggunaan Temephos di Rumah Tangga dan Pengaruhnya terhadap Kepadatan Jentik Aedes sp di Kelurahan Balaroa, Kota Palu

DHF vector control using chemicals, especially temephos, is still popular in the community compared to other controls and has received attention from most program managers because it is still effective in killing larvae of Aedes sp. The purpose of this study was to explore the use of temephos in the household and its relationship with the larva density of larvae of Aedes sp in the Balaroa village of Palu City with a cross sectional design Data collection was done by larva survey and interview using a structured questionnaire. The results of a study of 200 homes surveyed showed that households that used temephos were very few (19.5%), 97.4% of them used temephos correctly. Households that use temephos correctly, 65.8% of larvae densities are low, while 34.2% are still found to be high with the most use by housewives. Households in Balaroa Village use very little money to control dengue mosquitoes. It is necessary to increase the use of abate in the household through the dissemination of information about functions, and the practice of using temephos to the community, especially to housewives and improve the distribution system of temephos through posyandu activities or other activities. \u0000Abstrak \u0000Kasus Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) meningkat dari tahun ke tahun sehingga menjadi masalah kesehatan di Indonesia. Pengendalian vektor DBD menggunakan bahan kimia terutama temephos masih popular di masyarakat dibanding dengan pengendalian lain dan mendapat perhatian oleh sebagian besar pengelolah program karena masih efektif membunuh jentik Aedes sp. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengeksplor penggunaan temephos di rumah tangga dan hubungannya dengan kepadatan jentik Aedes spdi kelurahan Balaroa Kota Palu dengan desain cross sectional Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan survei jentik dan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur. Hasil penelitian dari 200 rumah yang disurvei menunjukkan bahwa rumah tangga yang menggunakan temephos sangat sedikit (19,5%), 97,4% diantaranya menggunakan temephos dengan benar. Rumah tangga yang menggunakan temephos dengan benar, 65,8% angka kepadatan jentiknya rendah, sedangkan  34,2% masih ditemukan tinggi dengan penggunaan paling banyak oleh ibu rumah tangga. Rumah tangga di Kelurahan Balaroa sangat sedikit menggunakan temepos untuk mengendalikan nyamuk DBD. It is need to looking for natural ingredient to use as the repellent of mosquitoescontact. Zodia plant (Evodia sauveolens) is contain active substances among otherlinanool and a-pinene which are natural active ingredients as mosquitoes repellent. Thestudy aimed to determine the influence of lotion from Zodia leaves extract against Aedessp. mosquitoes. The study design was post test only control. The result showed the highestprotection lotion zodia leaf extract (Evodia sauveolens) against Aedes sp. was atconcentration of 50% and 60%, ie 90% in the first hour. Long time protection longestpower was concentration 60%, that can reached up to 6 hours at 16%. We can concludethat there was an influence of the application of lotion from Zodia leaves extract to theprotection against Aedes sp. \u0000Abstrak \u0000Demam berdarah adalah penyakit yang ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes sp.Penggunaan insektisida merupakan cara yang sering digunakan. Namun demikian,penggunaan insektisida dapat menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan. Salah satutindakan pencegahan kontak nyamuk adalah dengan pemakaian repellent yangumumnya berbahan aktif kimia sintetis. Untuk itu perlu dicari bahan alami yang lebihaman, diantaranya penggunaan tanaman zodia (Evodia sauveolens) yang mengandungbahan aktif linanool dan a-pinene yang merupakan bahan alami penolak nyamuk.Metode penelitian ini post tes only control design. Pembuatan ekstrak dengan metodedestilasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian lotionekstrak daun zodia terhadap daya proteksi nyamuk Aedes sp. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan daya proteksi lotion ekstrak daun zodia (Evodia sauveolens) terhadapnyamuk Aedes sp. paling tinggi pada konsentrasi 50% dan 60% pada jam pertama yaitu90 %. Daya proteksi terlama diperoleh pada konsentrasi 60% yang dapat mencapai jamke-6 sebanyak 16%. These ecosystems were distant forests and near settlements, non forests near and far residential, as well as near and remote coastal settlements. We measured species diversity (Shannon-Wiener index), environmental factors were also measured during bat surveys, ie air temperature, humidity and weather during survey. This paper was a further analysis of Vectora 2015 Research Report. The analysis was aimed to determine the impact of environmental factors to the bat species diversity especially in Tojo Una-Una and Tolitoli District. We found that the temperature and humidity factors significantly affect the diversity of bat species. The highest species diversity found in the forest near settlement, that was 0,3396. \u0000Abstrak \u0000Data Riset Khusus Vektora tahun 2015 menunjukkan adanya keragaman spesieskelelawar di lokasi riset yang terdiri atas enam ekosistem yang berbeda. Ekosistemtersebut adalah hutan , non hutan jauh dan dekat pemukiman dekat dan jauhpemukiman, serta dekat dan jauh pemukiman pantai . Faktor lingkungan juga diukurpada saat dilakukan survei kelelawar, yaitu suhu udara, kelembaban dan cuaca saatpenangkapan. Tulisan ini merupakan hasil analisis lanjut Riset Khusus vektora tahun2015. Analisis dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh ekosistemdan faktor lingkungan (suhu, kelembaban dan cuaca) terhadap keragaman jeniskelelawar di Kabupaten Tojo Una-Una dan Tolitoli Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah danperannya sebagai reservoir penyakit zoonosis. The results of research before had found that marigold leaf extract has a repulsive effect on Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. This study aimed to identify the potential of marigold leaf extract as larvacide against Ae. aegypti larvae in the laboratory. The material used in this research was extracts of marigold leaves. Larvacide test was carried out by dissolving of extract in water at the concentration of 2,000 ppm, 4,000 ppm, 6,000 ppm, 8,000 ppm, and 10,000 ppm. The larvae used was Ae. aegypti larvae as many as 25 larvae each five treatment of replications. Probit analysis was conducted on larval mortality after 24 hours of exposure. The results of the probit analysis showed that the estimated concentration of extracts that could result in larval mortality up to 95% (LC95) was 7,456 ppm. From the result we can conclude that ethanol extract of marigold leaves (T. erecta L. ) has the biolarvacidal activity against larvae. \u0000Abstrak \u0000Pengendalian vektor nyamuk dengan memanfaatkan bahan alam makin banyak dikembangkan. Marigold (T. erecta) merupakan tumbuhan yang banyak dimanfaatkan  sebagai tanaman pengusir nyamuk. Hasil penelitian sebelumnya menemukan bahwa ekstrak daun memiliki daya tolak terhadap nyamuk Ae. aegypti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat potensi ekstrak daun marigold sebagai larvasida terhadap larva Ae. aegypti instar III di laboratorium. Bahan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah ekstrak etanol daun marigold hasil ekstraksi dari penelitian sebelumnya. Uji larvasida dilakukan dengan melarutkan ekstrak dalam air pada konsentrasi 2.000 ppm, 4.000 ppm, 6.000 ppm, 8.000 ppm, dan 10.000 ppm. Larva yang digunakan yaitu larva Ae. aegypti sebanyak 25 larva tiap perlakuan dengan lima ulangan. Dilakukan analisis probit terhadap kematian larva setelah 24 jam paparan. Hasil analisa probit menunjukkan perkiraan konsentrasi ekstrak yang mampu mengakibatkan kematian larva hingga 95% (LC95 ) adalah 7.456 ppm. The last focus distribution map of this snail was done eight years ago. Therefore,  it needs to be updated. This study aimed to identify and map the primary and secondary foci area of O.hupensis lindoensis snail. Mapping of  the intermediate host of schistosoma, O. hupensis lindoensis was conducted for seven month in four schistosomiasis endemic villages in Poso and Sigi District of Central Sulawesi in 2016. The result showed that snail of O. hupensis lindoensis in Sedoa was found reduced to 33 foci, in Watutau Village was also reduced to two foci, in Tomehipi Village was found increased become eight foci, and in Tomado Village was found reduced become 15 foci. The foci areas needs to be changed into agricultural land, to reduce the number and area of O. hupensis lindoensis.  Abstrak Penyebaran habitat keong O. hupensis lindoensis ditemukan di tiga wilayah yaitu Dataran Tinggi Napu, Bada dan Lindu dengan infection rate di atas 1%. Data distribusi fokus telah dilakukan delapan tahun lalu melalui pemetaan fokus, sehingga perlu diperbaharui. Telah dilakukan pemetaan habitat perantara schistosomiasis keong O. hupensis lindoensis selama tujuh bulan di empat daerah endemis di Kabupaten Poso dan Sigi Sulawesi Tengah. Studi ini bertujuan memetakan dan mengidentifikasi fokus keong O. hupensis lindoensis di dataran tinggi Napu, Bada, dan Lindu, sebagai pembaharuan data perkembangan fokus di daerah endemis. Hasil pemetaan habitat hospes perantara schistosomiasis keong O. hupensis lindoensis menunjukan bahwa jumlah fokus keong O. hupensis lindoensis di Desa Sedoa menurun menjadi 33 fokus, di Desa Watutau jumlah fokus menurun menjadi dua fokus, di Desa Tomehipi meningkat menjadi delapan fokus, dan di Desa Tomado menurun menjadi 15 fokus. Community participation was great for reducing the incidence of DHF. Community empowerment will greatly assist the government in succeeding DHF preventive efforts so that DHF can be controlled. The method used in this study was a literature study that examines the various references closely related to community empowerment in the control of DHF diseases. References examined come from the results of research both from within or abroad, books and official reports issued within a period of not more than 10 years. The number of literature studied was 35 literatures.Community empowerment in the control of DHF was necessary because the government can not run alone in efforts to control DHF. All programs that were rolled out will be useless if the community was not involved in planning, monitoring and evaluation processes. This is because DHF was related to environmental problems in which humans were involved in creating an enabling environment for the spread of DHF Community empowerment in . DHF control was important to support the implementation and sustainability of DHF control program. \u0000Abstrak \u0000Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) masih merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakatwalaupun sudah dikendalikan lebih dari 20 tahun dengan berbagai upaya. Peran sertamasyarakat sangat besar dalam upaya pengendalian sehingga pemberdayaanmasyarakat penting dilakukan untuk mengurangi kejadian penyakit DBD.Pemberdayaan masyarakat akan sangat membantu pemerintah dalam menyukseskanupaya preventif DBD sehingga DBD dapat dikendalikan. Metode yang digunakan dalamkajian ini adalah studi literatur yang mengkaji berbagai referensi yang erat kaitannyadengan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pengendalian penyakit DBD. Referensi yangdikaji berasal dari hasil penelitian baik dari dalam atau luar negeri, buku dan laporanresmi yang dikeluarkan dalam kurun waktu tidak lebih dari 10 tahun. Jumlah literatureyang dikaji sebanyak 35 literatur. Pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pengendalian DBDdiperlukan karena pemerintah tidak bisa berjalan sendiri dalam upaya pengendalianDBD. Semua program yang digulirkan akan tidak berguna apabila masyarakat tidakdilibatkan dalam perencanaan, proses monitoring dan evaluasi. Microfilaria rate reported in 2009 was 10.3%. Filarial prevention mass drug administration (MDA) was simultaneously carried out since 2013. The objectives of the study were to identify the lymphatic filariasis situation (microfilaria rate, history of drugs administration, vector species and larval habitat) after the introduction of third phase filariasis prevention drugs. Study design was cross sectional study, which located in Penanggiran and Cinta Kasih Village, Muara Enim District in 2015. Sampling was done by examination of finger blood at night from 19:00 to 24:00. The history of taking MDA was asked to the villagers > 15 years old that were taken finger blood speciments. The catching of adult mosquitoes was done once by human landing collection method for 12 hours (18.00-06.00). Observation of larvae was conducted in larval breeding habitats.The results found one sample Brugia malayi mikrofilaria species positive of 726 from the sentinel village of sentinel. Microfilarial rate was 0.29%. The dominant mosquito vector species was Culex quinquefasciatus. The mosquito larvae were found in the marsh area. We found only 22% of 537 respondents has been taking the drug three times for three years. \u0000Abstrak \u0000Muara Enim merupakan daerah endemis filariasis di Provinsi SumateraSelatan. Mikrofilaria rate dilaporkan tahun 2009 sebesar 10,3%. Pemberianobat pencegahan massal serentak dilakukan sejak tahun 2013. Tujuanpenelitian mengetahui gambaran filariasis (mikrofilaria rate, riwayat minumobat, spesies nyamuk dan habitat larva) pasca-Pemberian Obat PencegahanMassal (pasca-POPM) filariasis tahap tiga. Desain penelitian studi potonglintang, lokasi penelitian di Desa Penanggiran dan Cinta Kasih. Pengambilansampel dengan cara pemeriksaan darah jari pada malam hari dimulai pukul19.00-24.00 WIB terhadap seluruh penduduk desa yang datang pada saatsurvei darah jari (SDJ). Riwayat minum obat pencegahan ditanyakan padapenduduk yang diambil spesimen darah jari berumur >15 tahun. Penangkapannyamuk dewasa dilakukan masing-masing satu kali di desa lokasi penelitiandengan metode human landing collection selama 12 jam (18.00–06.00 WIB).Pengamatan dan pencidukan larva pada habitat perkembangbiakan larva.Hasil pemeriksaan darah terhadap 726 orang ditemukan satu orang positifmikrofilaria dengan spesies Brugia malayi dengan Mf rate sebesar 0,29%.Frekuensi minum obat massal filariasis selama tiga tahun POPM dari 537responden hanya sebesar 22,0%. Spesies nyamuk yang dominan ditemukanCulex quinquefasciatus. In the past, Palu was the only city reported high dengue cases. Then,  dengue outbreaks were also reported from several districts in Central Sulawesi. The Provincial Health Office suspected over-reporting of dengue infection. This reviewed article was aimed to identify whether the clinical diagnosis was the cause of over-reporting of dengue infection. Data of dengue cases from three districts/city in 2015-2016 were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there was an over-reporting of dengue infection by 51.7%. The over-reporting occurred because the diagnosis of cases was not strictly followed the guideline for dengue infection classification by the Ministry of Health. Therefore, it is necessary for the health practitioners to understand fully the guideline of dengue infection classification used in Indonesia. \u0000Abstrak \u0000Dengue merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan utama di Indonesia, termasuk di Sulawesi Tengah. Kota Palu merupakan daerah endemis Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) utama di Sulawesi Tengah. Namun, dalam beberapa tahun terakhir kejadian luar biasa DBD dilaporkan di beberapa kabupaten. Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah menduga adanya kemungkinan over-reporting kasus DBD yang menyebabkan meningkatnya laporan kasus DBD setiap tahunnya. Review ini bertujuan untuk mengidenfikasi kemungkinan adanya over-reporting kasus DBD di tiga kabupaten/kota di Sulwesi Tengah. Data kasus DBD tahun 2015-2016 dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk melihat adanya over-reporting. Hasil menujukkan bahwa terdapat kelebihan 51,7% kasus DBD yang disebabkan karena diagnosis tidak mengikuti kriteria diagnosis klinis sesuai panduan klasifikasi infeksi dengue yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Kesehatan. DHF is a public health importance in Indonesia which cause outbreaks inendemic areas. Dengue infection could be fatal if it is not immediately addressed. InJanuary 2016, the dengue outbreak occurred in the Sekarjaya community health center(CHC) working area, Ogan Komering Ulu district leading to one fatal case. A post-outbreakinvestigation was employed to observe the presence of the Aedes immature stage and tocharacterize their potential breeding sites. A total of 230 houses were inspected. A highlarval density was observed with free-larval index and house index (HI) was 54% and 46%,respectively. Of 876 containers were found; of which 181containers contained larva and 49containers with Aedes pupae. The container index (CI) and pupal index (PI) was 21% and6%, respectively. Aedes aegypti positive containers associated with the water source, type,color, the presence of predatory fish, the presence of cover and draining frequency. Aroutine larval survey needs to be conducted in public places around the residences. \u0000Abstrak \u0000Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh  virus dengue dan ditularkan oleh nyamuk sebagai vektor. Penyakit ini masih menjadimasalah kesehatan di Indonesia karena sering menimbulkan kejadian luar biasa (KLB)di beberapa daerah endemis. Penyakit ini dapat menimbulkan kematian dalam waktuyang singkat bila tidak segera ditangani. Kejadian luar biasa DBD telah terjadi di wilayahPuskesmas Sekarjaya, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu dengan satu kasus kematian padabulan Januari 2016. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan tujuan untukmengetahui indeks larva dan karakteristik kontainer yang berpotensi sebagai tempatperkembangbiakan nyamuk . Jumlah rumah yang diperiksa sebanyak 230 Aedes aegyptirumah. Hasil survei jentik mendapatkan angka kepadatan jentik termasuk dalamkepadatan tinggi. Hasil perhitungan indek larva mendapatkan Angka Bebas Jentik (ABJ)sebesar 54% sedangkan sebesar 46%. Jumlah kontainer yang house index (HI)ditemukan sebanyak 876 buah dengan jumlah kontainer positif jentik sebanyak 181dan kontainer dengan pupa sebanyak 49 buah kontainer. Hasil perhitunganmendapatkan nilai sebesar 21% dan sebesar 6%. container index (CI) pupa index (PI)Karaketeristik yang berhubungan dengan keberadaan jentik kontainer Aedes aegyptiadalah sumber air, jenis, warna, pemeliharaan ikan, keberadaan tutup dan pengurasankontainer. This study was aimed to identify LethalConcentration 90% (LC90) of polar fraction extract from  Citrus hystrix and Citrusaurantifolia leaves as biolarvicide against mosquito larvae after 24 hours of exposure.This study was an experimental research based on a Completely Randomized Design(CRD). The polar fraction extract of C. hystrix and C. aurantifolia  were tested in concentrations of 0 ppm, 500 ppm, 1375 ppm, 2250 ppm, 3125 ppm, and 4000 ppm againstthe 3rd instar larvae of  Culex quinquefasciatus. Each treatment was done in five independent replications. The numbers of deceased mosquito larvae were determinedafter 24 hours of treatment and analyzed by probit. The results showed that the polarfraction extract of  C. hystrix and C. aurantifolia  have bio-larvicidal activity against the 3rdinstar larvae of Cx. quinquefasciatus at LC90 of 1,653 ppm and 2,797 ppm, respectively. In conclusion, the polar fraction extract of C. hystrix leaf is more toxic than C. aurantifolialeaf's against  Cx. quinquefasciatus larvae. \u0000Abstrak \u0000Perkembangan resistensi terhadap insektisida kimia di antara spesies nyamuk telahdianggap sebagai kemunduran dalam pengendalian vektor. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengetahui Lethal Concentration 90% (LC90 ) ekstrak fraksi polar daun  C. hystrix dan C. aurantifolia sebagai biolarvasida terhadap larva nyamuk setelah paparan 24 jam. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL).Ekstrak fraksi polar daun C. hystrix dan C. aurantifolia  diuji dengan konsentrasi 0 ppm,500 ppm, 1.375 ppm, 2.250 ppm, 3.125 ppm, dan 4.000 ppm terhadap larva nyamuk Cx.quinquefasciatus instar III. Setiap konsentrasi dilakukan replikasi sebanyak lima kali.Jumlah larva nyamuk yang mati dihitung setelah 24 jam. Setelah itu, data dari larvanyamuk yang mati dianalisis menggunakan probit. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkanbahwa ekstrak fraksi polar daun C. hystrix dan C. aurantifolia memiliki aktivitas sebagai biolarvasida terhadap larva nyamuk Cx. quinquefasciatus instar III dengan LC 90= 1.653  ppm dan 2.797 ppm, secara berurutan.
