However, machining these alloys poses challenges as they are classified as hard-to-cut materials, leading to issues like short tool life, poor surface quality, and low productivity. Rapid tool wear is a significant problem when machining hard alloys, with cutting parameters, drill bit geometry, and types of cutting fluids being the main factors influencing tool wear. In this study, a series of experiments was conducted to investigate the influence of different cutting speeds and tool geometry on tool wear during micro drilling of CoCrMo. A flood cooling system was employed throughout the study, with a constant machining feed rate of 0.1 mm/rev. Three cutting tools with different point angles (118°, 130°, and 140°) and a diameter of 0.2 mm were utilized. The cutting speeds of 50 m/min, 65 m/min, and 80 m/min were varied. A total of 11 runs were performed, with each run consisting of drilling 30 holes. Forces, torques, and tool wear were measured after every subsequent 10 holes drilled. The purpose of the study was to determine the effects of Avicennia marina sedimentation on wave attenuation. The employed methods in this research were spot-check, transect-squared, and laboratory test methods. The measurement of the wave data involved SBE 26 and RBRDuo T.D. They were carried out at 5 stations with thicknesses of 3 m, 5 m, 10 m, 20 m, and 50 m respectively. The percentages of the wave energy attenuation were 49.5%, 53.8%, 82.9%, 91.4%, and 92.3%, with grain diameter percentages of 19.36%, 19.75%, 19.87%, and 21.27%. The higher the percentage of wave attenuation, the smaller the percentage of grains, and vice versa. When a wave arrives, the energy is so large that each large particle of the sediment in the sea is brought back to the mangrove ecosystem. When the wave disappears, the released energy gets so smaller that only small particles are taken back to the sea. The conclusion of this study is that the diameter percentage of mangrove sediment was related to the percentage of wave attenuation. Bacterial cellulose which can be easily obtained from the local market, possesses an exceptional structure that allows for the elimination of non-biodegradable binders and the use of current collectors in the EDLC electrodes. A green polymer electrolyte system consisting of methylcellulose, potato starch and lithium bromide. This electrolyte demonstrates a conductivity of (1.38 ± 0.54) × 10-4 S/cm, electrochemical stability of 1.3 V, and an ionic transference number of 0.98. The optimized electrolyte is used in the EDLC. Cyclic voltammetry analysis reveals that he fabricated EDLC has a capacitive behavior without any peaks indicating redox reactions. The EDLC undergo charging and discharging for up to 5000 cycles, with specific capacitances of 26 F/g. For the benefit of economic growth, it is important to precisely assess the chili health. With the advancement of computer vision-based applications, methods such as feature descriptors have been utilized to assist farm owners in identifying chili diseases via chili leaf images. However, these feature descriptors still require the manual extraction of disease features in order to accurately identify chili diseases. In this research, pretrained Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are proposed as feature extractors to identify healthy and diseased chili leaf images. Three pretrained CNN models, DenseNet-201, EfficientNet-b0, and NasNet-Mobile, are utilized for their ability to identify healthy and diseased chili leaf using five indexes: accuracy, recall, specificity, precision, and F1-score. These indexes are validated through a five-fold cross-validation method during the experiments. The experimental results show that the EfficientNet-b0 model achieved the highest identification performance, with indexes of accuracy, recall, specificity, precision, and F1-score of 97.05%, 0.97, 0.92, 0.92, and 0.94, respectively. Dr.Ridz Anti-Acne Nanoserum® product was formulated with the extract of Cassia alata leaf and Piper betle. The aim of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of this formulated product against against C. acnes, S. epidermidis, and S. aureus. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) value and the minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) were determined using a broth microdilution and a streak plate method, respectively. The rate of killing by this product was tested using time-kill assay (TKA) at 0.5x MIC, 1x MIC, and 2x MIC with incubation periods of 2, 4, 6, 8 10, 12, and 24 hours. The MIC values showed that this product inhibited S. epidermidis and S. aureus better than C. acnes. From the calculation of the MBC/MIC ratio, this product showed bactericidal effects against all tested bacteria. The time-kill studies showed that the killing effect of this product was concentration-dependent, and the highest antibacterial activity was observed at the concentration of 2x MIC against all tested bacteria. Anaerobic digestion (AD) is an approach to convert organic-waste into high-value products like biomethane and hydrogen. However, hydrolysis is deemed to be a rate-limiting process in the AD process, limiting biogas production. This study seeks to improve the hydrolysis process through pre-treating FW with chemical and biological treatments. We show that the enzymatic treatment substantially improved the hydrolyzation and solubilization of food waste, resulting in a three folds increase in biogas production compared to untreated food waste. A co-treatment of biological and enzymatic treatments significantly improved the hydrolysis process, solids reduction, and solubilization of the substrate. The soluble chemical oxygen demand (SCOD) and reducing sugar were increased by 50% and 25% respectively, compared to enzymatically treated only. However, the inhibitory effect of accumulated salts from the treatment has limited the application of anaerobic digestion. Kenaf fibre-reinforced concrete (KFRC), which has improved mechanical qualities and biodegradability, has emerged as a possible eco-friendly substitute. The intricate interactions between material composition, geometrical factors, and load-bearing capacities make it difficult to optimise the design of structural parameters of KFRC beam-column joints. The beam-column joints used in this study were designed based on ACI 318-19 shear criteria. This study suggests a novel method for precisely predicting the parameters of kenaf fibre-reinforced concrete beam-column (KFRC-BC) joints by combining machine learning modelling and experimental investigation. Experimental data are carefully documented to establish the reality, including load-displacement responses and beam-column joint parameters such as shear, stiffness, ductility, crack load, energy absorption, and ultimate load. These data were used in the modelling through GeneXproTools 5.0 (GEP) and an empirical relationship with mathematical expressions has been proposed for each joint parameter. R2 statistical analysis is used to evaluate the model’s efficacy. In addition, it has been demonstrated by varying intensity and correlation that deep learning may be used to determine the precise concrete structure parameters in civil engineering without the need for experimental research. The shear spacing could be increased by 25% to 50%. Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) allows systems to operate automatically, so the robot will learn the next movement based on the interaction with the environment. Moreover, since robots require continuous action, Soft Actor Critic Deep Reinforcement Learning (SAC DRL) is considered the latest DRL approach solution. SAC is used because its ability to control continuous action to produce more accurate movements. SAC fundamental is robust against unpredictability, but some weaknesses have been identified, particularly in the exploration process for accuracy learning with faster maturity. To address this issue, the study identified a solution using a reward function appropriate for the system to guide in the learning process. This research proposes several types of reward functions based on sparse and shaping reward in SAC method to investigate the effectiveness of mobile robot learning. In the pursuit of maintaining health, therapy, particularly shower therapy, has become a popular choice for its perceived ability to provide warmth, relaxation, and alleviate fatigue. However, questions arise regarding whether the water temperature in shower therapy changes as water flows at specific rates and how this might influence the therapy's effectiveness. This research aims to observe whether the water temperature in shower therapy is affected by the flow rate using the DS18B20 temperature sensor. The method involves measuring the water temperature at rest and while it flows at various flow rates. Water flow is controlled using a dimmer on the booster pump, while temperature measurements are taken using the DS18B20 temperature sensor and water flow meter sensor. The test results indicate that water at temperatures of 38-43°C flowing through pipes experiences an average temperature decrease of approximately 1.53°C. However, the temperature decrease does not exhibit a linear relationship with the flow rate. These findings suggest the possibility of other factors, such as the surface area of the conduit (pipes), influencing the temperature reduction in shower therapy. One of the most popular materials utilized in additive manufacturing is metal. The far more complicated procedure of directed energy deposition (DED) is frequently employed to upgrade or repair existing components. DED fabrication process will be able to construct a 3D metal object with consideration of the weld bead characteristics. Without knowing the weld bead characteristics, the mechanical integrity will not hold as the bead size is not suitable for the product. In the current study, we will study the effect of variation of parameters of the DED machine to be able to print in a continuous deposition and we will also investigate the weld bead characteristics printed by the variation of parameters with the use of DED machine. The variation of parameters of the machine are the laser power with the unit of Watt and the feedrate of the machine with the unit of mm per minute. Nine preliminary samples are printed to check whether the bead can be printed in a continuous line or not. The value of variation of parameters that bring about a continuous deposition will be jotted and continued to be taken to bead characterization for study. Six samples were printed, and the bead width and height are calculated based on the variation of parameters. Based on the result, we found that laser power will increase the bead width, but the bead height needs optimal laser power which is at 473 Watt and optimal feedrate which is on 60 mm per min to reach optimal bead height which is at 2.1162 mm.
