Thus, companies specifically in IT/ITES sector are investing huge amount of time, money and resources to build their talent acquisition strategy. Recruitment has mostly been a reactive approach and organizations generally scout for candidates only when there is vacancy. This article attempts to introduce the concept of sustainable talent acquisition to ensure steady supply of talent to meet future needs of an organization. Authors have tried to incorporate the idea of three pillars of sustainability – environmental, social, and economic into the recruitment landscape and to build an action plan to speed up hiring process and improve cost efficiency. Authors believe that environmental sustainability can be achieved by constantly gauging talent demand and ensuring steady supply, social sustainability can be met by engaging talent pool to build long term relationships and economic sustainability can be attained by effectively using data to ensure cost effective hiring. The boundary theory integration-segmentation continuum does not account for variations in both schedule flexibility and work and home boundary permeability. It is possible for an employee to have a flexible but not permeable boundary and vice versa. Furthermore, permeability may vary for the work boundary and home boundary. This article examines the impact of these three boundary characteristics (flexibility, permeability of home boundary and permeability of work boundary) on the work-family conflict of knowledge workers. Additionally, role identity is examined as a potential moderating variable. This paper identified the antecedents of intentions to leave, intentions to stay, and retention of such technical and scientific professionals in private research and development organizations from the Greater Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Data was collected via online questionnaires between December, 2014 and March, 2015. Job satisfaction and supervisory support were negatively related to the intention to leave the organization, and positively related to the intention to stay in the organization. Training and development opportunities and organizational culture presented negative relation only to the intention to leave the organization. Therefore, the allocation of available resources in the best possible way is even more important. The challenge for companies is to improve the enterprise not only on the side of the organizational and process level, but to develop new strategies and approaches in human resource management. In this article, the authors propose metrics of a framework to manage scarce resources in IT-departments. These layers aim for different relevant determinants of employee productivity and satisfaction like employee wages, education of employees, psychological development of employees, workplace environment and work life balance. Also, relevant metrics to explore and use untapped labour potential in organizations are included. The use of these metrics provides a valuable insight into the organizational performance, its culture, and future. The managers of those intuitions are more and more aware that IT is a strategic tool for their institutions. On the other hand, IT Governance is getting attention from the practitioner and research side, given the need to govern IT extending the organisation's strategy and objectives into IT. IT Governance helps to set clear expectations, to gain participation, open communications, establish accountability and provide executive management oversight. Thus, it is important to consider IT Governance and the alignment with business strategy for HEI. In this article, authors present a Systematic Literature Review SLR on IT Governance in HEIs using a collection of scientific and non-conventional data grey literature. The motivation that drives this literature review is the further development of an IT Governance framework for Tunisian universities. This article aims to define the situation of the IT Governance in other countries. This article aims to provide a map of the state of the art of IT governance in HEI in various countries. Results show a mixed situation of IT Governance in HEIs. Some countries have the support of top level management to introduce IT Governance in HEIs by adopting regulatory frameworks and common laws. But other countries relay in their strong culture of IT Governance. The different case studies presented in this review show that there is no consensus on the IT Governance framework or standard to use in HEI. An important number of institutions are implementing COBIT or ISO best practices. In the other hand, some counties have developed their own frameworks. Results show there is no a single way to implement an IT Governance framework designed for HEI. It is obvious that Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a tool that enhances administrative activities of higher education institution. This article is based on descriptive survey design which investigates the impact of ICT on the administrative services/management of students' records in Nigerian universities. A questionnaire was the research instrument employed, and questionnaire items were developed through a review of related literature. A total of 200 respondents participated, comprising students, lecturers and administrators were randomly selected from ten universities in Nigeria. Data collected was analyzed using ANOVA. The major impacts of ICT in administrative services/management of students' records in Nigerian universities were identified and discussed. This situation may create a highly demotivating work environment for technical workers and managers in general. This study is an attempt to better understand the reasons for these flaws and delays, by proposing the following research question: ‘Which aspects may be contributing to these flaws and delays?'. The proposed hypothesis for this article is: ‘In our IT community, professionals who have an affinity with Project Management generally do not have the essential abilities required to be a leader.' In order to address the research question and hypothesis, this article proposes a mapping /assessment of the IT professionals regarding their potentials and skills. Therefore, this article discusses a proposal for discovering IT workers' profile based on the Multiple Intelligences theory and clustering algorithms. Longitudinal data was collected from 245 employees of top Indian IT companies based out of Pune and Bengaluru. Through exploratory factor analysis, the determining factors of psychological contract were identified. The significant differences of variables like gender, marital status, work experience, designation with factors of the psychological contract were also determined by using T-test and ANOVA. The results show that gender has no significant difference w.r.t. the factors determining psychological contract as far as IT professionals are concerned. The discussion is centered on an innovative teaching concept called \"The ERP Challenge\", which was developed to give students a hands-on experience with a commercial standard ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The ERP Challenge consists of a business simulation game based on a real-world company case, an e-learning platform and the actual ERP system. The software platform for the ERP Challenge combines these elements in a seamlessly integrated way. Described further is the development of the software platform, the evaluation process for its refinement and the possibility to provide the solution as a hosted service.
