El personal de refugios frecuentemente refiere la subadopción de perros de pelaje negro, denominada el Síndrome del Perro Negro (SPN); sin embargo, su existencia parece basarse más bien en material anecdótico. Para evaluarlo, se realizó a una revisión sistemática de estudios que estimarán el efecto del color del pelaje canino en diversas conductas humanas, incluyendo las adopciones. Las investigaciones evidencian que el SPN no se manifiesta de manera universal y directa, sino más bien, de manera regional y secundaria. El color del pelaje no funciona como un predictor particularmente útil sobre el destino de los perros de refugio, como sí lo hacen su edad y pureza de raza. Fomentar las adopciones de perros adultos y mestizos permitiría incrementarlas en número por sobre otras formas de adquisición, beneficiando a un mayor número de animales.","PeriodicalId":53986,"journal":{"name":"Revista Argentina de Ciencias del Comportamiento","volume":"12 1","pages":"11-23"},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2020-08-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44307176","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Considerando esta brecha, el objetivo del presente trabajo fue comparar los procesos de intercambio conductual sincronico y asincronico en dos muestras de ninos con alto y bajo rendimiento academico, a partir de los registros conductuales segundo a segundo en dos condiciones: actividad ludica y academica. Los resultados indican que las diadas con ninos de alto rendimiento academico presentaron una mayor frecuencia de intercambios sincronicos con sus madres durante la actividad ludica, en tanto que las madres de ninos con bajorendimiento fueron mas coercitivas y menos interactivas. Estos resultados sugieren que los procesos sincronicos pueden ser un mecanismo importante que propicie el desarrollo de habilidades y el mantenimiento en actividades academicas, lo cual podria contribuir a promover el rendimiento academico. EnglishThere is evidence that suggests that parental parenting styles are related to children's academic performance. However, this has not been examined through interactional synchronization analysis in mother-child dyads. Considering this gap, the goal of this study was to compare the processes of synchronous and asynchronous behavioral exchange in two samples of children with high (20 dyads) and low academic performance (20 dyads), from the behavioral records second to second in two conditions: recreational and academic activity. Results indicate that dyads with children of high academic performance exhibit greater frequencyof synchronous exchanges with their mothers during playful activity, while mothers of children with poor performance were more coercive and less interactive. These results suggest that synchronous processes can be an important mechanism that promotes the development of skills and maintenance in academic activities, which may increase academic performance.","PeriodicalId":53986,"journal":{"name":"Revista Argentina de Ciencias del Comportamiento","volume":"12 1","pages":"60-71"},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2020-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48158224","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we studied the LiCl use to control olive trees consumption by ewes. For this purpose, 22 crossbred ewes were exposed to a preconditioning period where they were trained in a specific consumption routine. Once the conditioning period began, fresh olive leaves were given to eat, half were dosed with LiCl aqueous solution (200 mg/kg BW), while the other half were dosed with water. The effect of LiCl was monitored during 6 consecutive days after administration, and every month for 6 months. The LiCl generated a significant decrease consumption of olive leaves. Como resultados se destacan: prevalencia del analisis de los efectos sobre la transferencia cercana a corto plazo; resultados positivos en poblacion con y sin necesidades insatisfechas; y dificultades en el contexto de intervencion. EnglishSelf-regulation -a core aspect of adaptive human behavior- is linked to developing healthy social and emotional skills, during childhood. Thus, different intervention studies on self-regulation in child population were developed worldwide. In general, these studies employ one of two basic approaches: Processes-based or school curriculum-based. In Argentina, there are research groups about the topic, but there is not a registry with information about all of them. For these reasons, this systematic review is aimed to relieve, to synthesize and to evaluate the impact of intervention programs (taking into account both approaches) which have been implemented in Argentina, in preschoolers and elementary school student. Among main results the prevalence of analysis of near short-term transfer effects, positive results in populations with and without unsatisfied needs, and difficulties in the intervention context are highlighted. In recent years, there has been an increase in interventions based on mindfulness to reduce the psychological problems of college students.
