The conflict would be another traditional episode in the international system, but the use of cybernetics in large scale by the Russians gave it singularity. Thus, this war was an example of the damage caused to Georgia as a victim of cybernetics as military weapon.","PeriodicalId":53765,"journal":{"name":"Meridiano 47-Journal of Global Studies","volume":"2004 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2020-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86237191","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Three aspects were analyzed: the speeches of Bolsonaro and his main aides; a historical review of the country's alignment; and how this policy applies to the regional and international scenarios. The conclusion is that Bolsonaro's foreign policy represents a waiver of the tradition of autonomy and development historically adopted by the Brazilian diplomacy.","PeriodicalId":53765,"journal":{"name":"Meridiano 47-Journal of Global Studies","volume":"23 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2019-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82713462","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, no one Nuclear-Weapon State has signed the treaty. This article argues that the TPNW is both an innovation in the nuclear nonproliferation regime and a treaty that is unfitted to achieve its objective due the lack of support from the major powers of the international system, as well as the absence of the main countries that could determine or influence the international system on issues related to nuclear weapons. In the first section of the article, the scope and objectives of the treaty are addressed, and the following section presents an analysis of the profiles of the TPNW signatories. The last section contains a prospective view of the treaty.","PeriodicalId":53765,"journal":{"name":"Meridiano 47-Journal of Global Studies","volume":"81 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2019-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77799381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
