Bolsonaro e a reorientação da política exterior brasileira

Abstract

The Brazilian foreign policy under the government of Jair Bolsonaro adopts as its main guideline the alignment to the foreign policy of Donald Trump's government. Three aspects were analyzed: the speeches of Bolsonaro and his main aides; a historical review of the country's alignment; and how this policy applies to the regional and international scenarios. The conclusion is that Bolsonaro's foreign policy represents a waiver of the tradition of autonomy and development historically adopted by the Brazilian diplomacy.
