The opening presentation shows the middle part of the Triptichon as a social system that while dissipating the gifts of Paradise is running toward the inferno. The lecturer of \"The Beauty and the Beast\" takes an anatomical approach to Bosch's absurd creatures. These strange monsters indicate that, once natural correlations are eliminated, there are emerging self-sustaining networks in the very short term, but they will be replaced by self-destructive networks in the long run. The approach of landscape ecology reveals the contradiction between the beauty of the cultivated landscape and the selfishness of its cultivators. The \"Limits to Growth\" is an economic-ecological approach, interpreting hay as a symbol of finite resources. It contrasts Malthus' pessimistic forecast with Georgescu-Roegen's economic physics. The \"Selfish genes and the helping whole\" relates the looting in the foreground of Bosch's imaging to Dawkinsian atomized genetics and the harmonious order of the background to Lovelock's Gaia hypothesis. Each of these analyses interprets Bosch’s painting as a warning to rethink our views about the world, our scientific vision and our way of life too.","PeriodicalId":53287,"journal":{"name":"Kaleidoscope History","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68226053","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This minority forms a heterogeneous group. Romungro, Vlach and Boyash have female roles with complex cultural systems, and each group has a distinct group identity that has been held together for centuries, binding the group together. Place of residence, education and labour market position also influence women's roles. As a consequence, a colourful picture emerges when we examine the role of Roma women. We can observe the traditional role of women, who, giving birth at a young age, have many children to raise. This traditional role is still present where residents live in an environment without perspective. Young Roma women who have fewer opportunities to work because of their home environment, start families at an earlier age: the old custom re-emerges. Preferring to become more educated, more and more women are breaking with the tradition of sacrificing their lives entirely for the family. Gender roles in the household are becoming less and less distinct as women work and husbands do their share of household chores. Despite the division of labour, women feel that their burdens have not diminished, and men with stronger traditional roots can experience this kind of change as a loss. Having more education contributes greatly to this change in roles, as the driving force of the community is no longer dominant, but rather individual goals. This provides an opportunity for self-realization and independent living. The aim of this publication is to present the changes in the social roles of Roma women over time, from those required by the traditional family model to more modern (contemporary) female roles.","PeriodicalId":53287,"journal":{"name":"Kaleidoscope History","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68226383","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While reviewing the history of occultations in classical astronomy, there are three different roles distinguished. (1) Calibrational: serving as guideline events for adjusting numerical parameters of planetary models. (2) Cosmological: providing information about planetary order. (3) Physical: in Kepler’s interpretation occultations pose the theoretical problem of obscuring influences between celestial bodies, addressed both in astrology and celestial dynamics, stimulating the emergence of the concept of force acting at a distance.","PeriodicalId":53287,"journal":{"name":"Kaleidoscope History","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68226512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The current research studies medical tourism in Ghana historically, focusing on Korle Bu Teaching hospital in Accra and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumase. Using a qualitative research approach, the study provides a historical argument on the continuities and discontinuities of medical tourism in Ghana. Indeed, medical tourism has undergone several transitions over time. To emphasize, the current contribution has thoroughly discussed the evolution of medical tourism in Ghana, the pull and push factors of medical tourism, its impact on the local health systems and the need to further promote it. The study concludes among other things that the improvement of medical facilities, personnel and equipment among other things will enhance the medical tourism prospects of the country.","PeriodicalId":53287,"journal":{"name":"Kaleidoscope History","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68227304","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Each historic age had its own specialities, thus polyhistorians, medical doctors, anatomists and pathologists described diseases and the treatment options according to their own body of knowledge. For a long time, researchers were interested in the development of cancer and its related changes in the human body. Later on, diagnostic and therapeutic solutions came to the fore. Actually, cancer research is a dynamically evolving discipline, development of which is essential, since the conditions are typically incurable, fatal diseases. The importance of precancerous disorders was also highlighted through historic ages. Early diagnosis of these lesions is critical for avoiding potentially developing malignancies. Oral leukoplakia is one of the most common precancerous disorders. In oral precancerous disorders, there are several changes in definitions and terms in the national and international literature as well. The main diagnostic and therapeutic criteria have also changed over the years thanks to the latest discoveries. It is advisable to follow the current literature about accepted definitions and protocols, however, it is useful to study the differences among grouping and individual classifications since these are just calling our attention to diagnostic Kulcsszavak: leukoplakia, dysplasia, rákmegelőző, potenciálisan malignus","PeriodicalId":53287,"journal":{"name":"Kaleidoscope History","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68225706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
