The Mediterranean vegetation has adapted to these changes and tolerates dry hot summers and mildly rainy winters. It will gain more and more space in the future both in public and private areas – mainly on the southern slopes of South Transdanubia and the Balaton Highlands, later maybe on the same southern slopes of Buda Mountains and the Velence Mountains, and afterwards in some areas of the Northern Middle Mountains. Thus it is useful to gain knowledge about the Mediterranean coastland’s vegetation and profit from it. Keeping in mind the economic water management, it is advisable to decide on drought and frost-tolerant species while planting them in a harmonic and decorative manner in orchards and lawn areas in the future. Chronologically, this trend existed parallel to the \"folk\" and \"alternative\" medical systems, albeit in terms of its nature it followed a separate trend. This phenomenon is found in every big city. Gergely","doi":"10.17107/kh.2023.26.11","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17107/kh.2023.26.11","url":null,"abstract":"This essay focuses on interrelations among alternative aspects of medical knowledge and historically concerns the theoretical background of philosophical and anthropological works of the 18th and 19th centuries based on the Renaissance philosophy of humanity. The author determines the interpretive points of view in medicine and shows the development of relevant changes in social, historical and medical narratives in the modern ages. The first approach of criticism provides already a particular position in the oeuvre of Galeotto Marzio (Astrology, medical practice and physiognomic knowledge) a humanist researcher, which presents him as a philosopher of nature. The other interpretation of this historical timeline is the relation of Michel Foucault’s philosophical understanding of specific categories of power and sexuality in his works concerning the social sciences and historical criticism. This essay review focused on the popular and alternative thinkers of the 18th and 19th centuries while endeavoured to present the historical traditions and methods of the relevant body of knowledge based on alternative receipts and principles of medical and mechanical analogies of human interrelations.
