Pada deliniasi Kota Baru Sorong terdapat rencana pembangunan Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) dengan kegiatan utama industri smelter pengolahan nikel, pengolahan kelapa sawit, serta pergudangan logistik. Pemenuhan kebutuhan air baku dalam mendukung Kota Baru Sorong dan KEK Sorong masih terbatas, sehingga perlu dilakukan kajian terhadap DAS Warsamson sebagai catchment area di Kota Baru Sorong dan KEK Sorong untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air baku perkotaan dan untuk proses produksi smelter yang mencapai ± 425 ltr/dtk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketersediaan dan kebutuhan air yang disajikan dalam grafik neraca air sebagai tahapan dalam mengidentifikasi kebutuhan infrastruktur dalam mendukung pengembangan Kota Baru Sorong dan pemenuhan KEK Sorong. Metode yang digunakan yaitu model NRECA (National Rural Electric Cooperative Association) dengan membangkitkan data debit dari data curah hujan di sekitar DAS Warsamson. Analisis kebutuhan air berdasarkan kebutuhan rumah tangga, perkotaan dan industri dihitung sesuai Kriteria Perencanaan Kebutuhan Air Bersih, Ditjen Cipta Karya, Dep. PU, 2000. Hasil analisis menunjukkan total kebutuhan air baku untuk mendukung KEK dan Kota Baru Sorong hingga 2040 sebesar 1285 ltr/dtk (dibulatkan) dengan perincian, kebutuhan Kota Baru sebesar 859,618 ltr/dtk, kebutuhan KEK sebesar 425 ltr/dtk, tahap 2021-2025 dibutuhkan ± 278 ltr/dtk. Pengembangan kapasitas hingga 425 ltr/dtk diharapkan selesai pada tahap 2026-2030 untuk mendukung hilirisasi nikel menjadi stainless steel. Jika dibandingkan prakiraan kebutuhan air baku hingga 2040, perlu dilakukan peningkatan kapasitas bangunan pengambilan dengan alternatif sumber dari Sungai Warsamson, Sungai Karabra dan Bendung Mariat. The development of studies since the 1990s shows that the implementation of waste management cannot be achieved without collaborative governance. Research related to the challenges on how to increase the participation of each stakeholder is important in the study of sustainable municipal waste management. Therefore, a literature review was conducted, where 22 related articles were analyzed to obtain better understanding of the sustainable municipal solid waste management. Afterwards, the relations between government, private sector and society as determinant factors of the management success were mapped. The challenge that various researchers have found so far is collaboration among these stakeholders. The analysis carried out in this article showed that there was no single best approach in managing municipal solid waste. However, collaboration among stakeholders could offer the best opportunity to create an appropriate governance. Some changes in the behavior of stakeholders are needed from the upstream to the downstream of waste management processes. Based on the literature review, study of sustainable municipal solid waste management has been developing into the discussion of various problems, responsibilities and relationships between the three main stakeholders. For further studies, research on the roles of public-private partnerships, especially at the local level, is needed, aiming to improve the quality of education and community awareness in sustainable waste management.","PeriodicalId":52922,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pembangunan Wilayah dan Kota","volume":"79 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90961915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

COVID-19 is a newly discovered pandemic disease known as the acute respiratory disease SARS-CoV-2 virus. The search for basic necessities during a pandemic is very crucial. New regulations are made restricting all trading activities in traditional markets. This research was conducted in a traditional market located along Pasar Ciluar Street, Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency. Regulations were made by the West Java Provincial Government, such as the New Habit Adaptation program as a manifestation of the guidelines from WHO, in addition to the Bogor District Head Regulation Number 35 of 2020 concerning health protocols for economic areas requiring employees to wear masks, disinfect goods to be sold, and others. Many traders do not adhere to protocols, increasing the vulnerability of the spread of COVID-19. This study aims to examine the patterns and distribution of health protocols as well as behavioral motivations carried out by traders in health protocols. Using a qualitative approach, the place-centered mapping method is used for spatial analysis. The results of this study recount the behavioral spatial with a linear distribution pattern along Pasar Ciluar Street and the motivation of traders who violate the required health protocols.","PeriodicalId":52922,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pembangunan Wilayah dan Kota","volume":"29 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78838697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The existence of Bandar Gresik is one of the reasons for the diversity of history and culture contained in it because of the acculturation of the immigrant culture caused by the Bandar itself. Bandar is one of the triggers for community and economic development which is increasingly seen in the morphology of the City of Gresik Regency. The existence of various historical relics, both tangible and intangible, describes historical events that have occurred in Gresik Regency in the past and city developments that have occurred to the present. This historical event of Gresik Regency can then become its own identity and uniqueness for Gresik Regency. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study on the development of Gresik with the aim of seeing what the development of Gresik Regency looks like from year to year to find out the morphological form that existed at that time and how important it is for spatial regeneration in the future. This study uses a content analysis (CA) analysis approach and Diankronik analysis. The results of this study found 5 stages of the main period consisting of the Majapahit Empire, the Islamic Development Period, the Colonial Period, the Japanese Occupation Period, and the Early Independence Period. Based on the development period, they are grouped into four historical areas, namely the Bandar Gresik area, the Giri area, the Bandar Jaratan area and the Bawean area.","PeriodicalId":52922,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pembangunan Wilayah dan Kota","volume":"19 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78391053","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the midst of meeting this target, the commercial use of public green open space is growing. The situation can potentially reduce the effective area used for the public and affect the quantity of space, as well as the quality of citizen interaction with green open space. This study aims to identify the type and level of public green open space commercialization in Banda Aceh, identify research themes related to green open space commercialization, and formulate a priority list for further study taking into account the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted through focus group discussions, field observations, interviews and opinion polls. Preliminary research results in Banda Aceh indicate that commercial activities have the potential to transform public green open space into quasi-public. The presence of multi actors in the management of commercial activities in RTH can be a synergy, but it can also be a contest. The impact of the decrease in visits and the intensity of commercial activities occurred in the early days of the pandemic, but has increased again so that special handling is needed. The focus of research related to the use of green open space as an alternative space for interaction, especially during the pandemic, needs to be formulated with an interdisciplinary approach. The identified priority research agendas are those of applied research characteristics, namely the complete mapping of green open space that is affected by commercial activities and the application of micro zoning to control space use in green open space, including to mitigate the potential spread of the covid-19 outbreak.","PeriodicalId":52922,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pembangunan Wilayah dan Kota","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45333702","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
