We are talking about human values and virtues. PE as a curricular subject is undoubtedly a place where values can be taught and lived. The aim of this theoretical curricular study was to analyze the secondary school curricula of six different countries: Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Spain, Portugal, England. These countries were deliberately chosen according to a basic criterion i) being from different continents, ii) the PE curriculum must be a National public policy, iii) different languages (Spanish, English, Portuguese) and iv) access to the curriculum document to carry out the analysis. We assumed that countries with different cultures, languages, traditions, politics, religions - traditional and new religions - could present different or the same values/axiological perspectives. The results showed that the values most taught in PE classes are respect, tolerance, fair play, teamwork and cooperation - values common to all countries. There seems to be a common feature of what is human (regardless of the region of the globe). Son actividades lúdicas y recreativas cuyo objetivo es satisfacer las necesidades psicobiológicas, de entretenimiento, imaginación y socialización. Además, han sido incluidos en el currículo de Educación Física, con el fin de hacer que el proceso de Enseñanza-Aprendizaje en la iniciación deportiva escolar sea más lúdico e inclusivo. El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar una búsqueda de documentos relacionados con el Spiribol, para así aumentar conocimiento relacionado con este Deporte Alternativo. La búsqueda de evidencia científica se realizó utilizando la siguiente palabra clave: “Spiribol”. Para su inclusión, los documentos debían estar publicados hasta octubre de 2022, y estar disponibles en las bases de datos: Web of Science o Google Académico. Además, fueron incluidos o excluidos en base a criterios específicos establecidos para seleccionar los manuscritos más adecuados. Después de un análisis en profundidad, la revisión sistemática finalmente incluyó siete manuscritos. Los resultaron mostraron que el Spiribol es una práctica deportiva beneficiosa, destacando el fomento de la educación en valores, además de un desarrollo integral saludable del alumnado. La información que se dispone sobre los Deportes Alternativos, y, en concreto, sobre el Spiribol es escasa, siendo esta característica aún más considerable dentro del ámbito educativo. Debido a ello, se recomienda ampliar el campo de investigación de este deporte, así como animar a la comunidad educativa a su práctica y desarrollo en las aulas.\u0000Palabras clave: Deporte; recreación; educación; inclusión.\u0000Abstract. An innovative option to traditional sports is Alternative Sports which emerge as a new option to common motor practices. Alternative Sports are motor, playful, and recreational activities whose objective is to satisfy the psychobiological, entertainment, imagination, and socialization needs. In addition, they have been included in the Physical Education curriculum, to make the teaching-learning process in school more playful and inclusive. Therefore, the aim of this work is to carry out a search for documents related to Spiribol, to increase knowledge related to this Alternative Sport. The evidence search was conducted using the following keyword: \"Spiribol\". For inclusion, papers had to be published by October 2022 and available on Web of Science or Google Scholar. Las empresas de todo el mundo realizan inversiones masivas en patrocinios deportivos, por lo que es importante estudiar cuáles son los factores que afectan positiva o negativamente al comportamiento del consumidor para dar una base sobre la que las empresas puedan construir. En definitiva, se observa que el patrocinio de eventos deportivos se ha convertido en una herramienta estratégica del mix de comunicación, de manera que cada vez tiene más importancia económica en el conjunto de las estrategias comunicativas del tejido empresarial. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la eficacia del patrocinio deportivo en el Campeonato del Mundo de Superbikes (WorldSBK). El instrumento utilizado fue un cuestionario administrado a los asistentes a la prueba de este campeonato celebrada en Jerez del 20 al 22 de octubre de 2017 (N = 242). Los resultados más relevantes indican que los factores de éxito del patrocinio deportivo en WorldSBK son: grado de afición, notoriedad de marca, actitud favorable respecto al evento, actitud favorable respecto al patrocinador e intención de compra. Consideramos que los datos que se aportan en este estudio son un paso en el desarrollo de la metodología de análisis del patrocinio. The use of sponsorship has increased over recent years, in particular in the sports sector. Companies all over the world are investing massively in sports sponsorship, so it is important to study which factors positively or negatively affect consumer behavior to provide a basis on which companies can build. It may be seen that sports event sponsorship has become a strategic tool in the communication mix and is thus acquiring ever greater economic significance within the set of communication strategies in the business world. This research analyzes the efficacy of sports sponsorship in the World Superbikes Championship (WorldSBK). The instrument used was a questionnaire conducted of those attending the WorldSBK event at Jerez from 20 to 22 October 2017 (N = 242). The most significant results indicate that the factors behind the success of sports sponsorship in the WorldSBK are: level of fandom, brand awareness, favourable attitude towards the event, favourable attitude towards the sponsor, and purchase intention.This paper should be the step-in order to develop a methodology to analyze sponsorship. However, short-term effect of HIIT and free fatty acids (FFA) serum in women sedentary lifestyle is not clearly understood. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of 2-week high intensity interval training on body fat percentage, free fatty acids, and VO2max in overweight sedentary adult women. The fourteen sedentary young women (18–30 years old) randomly divided to control and HIIT groups. The HIIT group performed two-weeks training program, 20 min of repeated 10 s cycling interspersed with 50 s rest intervals per session, four days in a week. The variables were taken before and after intervention. The result showed the VO2max improved significantly (p<0.05) and the change of body fat percentage was decreased significantly (p<0.05) in HIIT compared to control. The FFA levels were raised in HIIT and reduced in control, but they were not significantly different between groups (p≥0.05). The conclusion of this study reveals that the HIIT can be a reliable strategy for countering obesity in the adult population for improving fitness level and lessen body fat percentage. It may cause by increase energy metabolism. However, its underlying mechanism seem not via FFA. Objetivo: caracterizar o desempenho da pessoa com demência durante tarefas motoras contínua e discreta, de acordo com o perfil das funções executivas. Metodologia: Foram recrutados idosos institucionalizados com diagnóstico de demência (estadio leve/moderado), capazes de compreender ordens simples. Foram recolhidos dados sociodemográficos e realizada uma avaliação da função executiva (Frontal Assessment Battery). Posteriormente, foi medido o desempenho em tarefa discreta (Teste de Discos, EUROFIT) e em tarefa contínua (kit avaliação TaTi). A função executiva dos participantes foi caracterizada (med.; IIQ[Q3-Q1]; freq. e %), foi analisada a variabilidade entre tentativas nas duas tarefas, assim como a diferença entre o melhor desempenho nas duas (Teste Wilcoxon). A amostra foi dividida em duas partes considerando a mediana em cada tarefa e os valores da FAB foram comparados (Mann-Whitney). Resultados: Dos 29 participantes recrutados, apenas 26 concluíram, pelo menos, uma tentativa para a EUROFIT e o TaTi. As dificuldades mais comuns e severas (score 0;1) na FAB foram a fluência lexical (78%) e as instruções conflituosas (70%). A variabilidade entre tentativas (p=0.018) apenas foi significativa na EUROFIT. As diferenças no desempenho entre as tarefas foram significativas (p=0.01). O subgrupo com pior desempenho na EUROFIT>505.60, apresenta valores significativamente mais baixos na FAB (p=0.028). Online learning is only available in a limited capacity via the WhatsApp group. The WhatsApp group application is used to provide learning material which is often offered in the form of films obtained from YouTube, very brief explanations, and assignments. Therefore, special attention is needed in considering online learning methods so that learning objectives can be achieved. This study aims to determine the effect of blended learning and project-based learning on the cognitive and psychomotor capacities of Padang State University students. Material and Methods. This study uses a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at Padang State University with third-semester students enrolled in the 2022 physical condition course. A total of 80 students in the third semester of the physical condition course in 2022 were used as a sample. Data on learning outcomes and psychomotor learning achievements were obtained using an observation sheet of e-test skills in the form of video conferencing learning. Data analysis techniques in this study were assisted by using the SPSS application. Results. Cognitive learning outcomes of students who are taught with the project-based learning model reach an average of 72.3. This average is greater than the average of students studying the blended learning (BL) model, namely 63.5. Students who were taught using the project-based learning (PjBL) model had an average psychomotor learning result of 81.3 greater than students who were taught with the blended learning model which had an average of 76.3. Conclusions. The results show that blended learning and online learning models with project-based learning have a major impact on cognitive and psychomotor outcomes in learning achievements under physical settings. In addition, limited evidence in previous research that analyzed the relationship between technological and psychological readiness with academic achievement among elite student athletes at the college level became a gap in this study. Therefore, this study investigated the relationship between technological and psychological readiness variables and academic achievement. Correlational research was adopted in this study which involved eighty-five elite first-year student-athletes from the Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Indonesia). Technological and psychological readiness was measured using a questionnaire while academic achievement was measured by filling out questions about soccer, basketball and volleyball. Spearman's rank was used to investigate the relationship of each variable. We observed several findings in this study. First, there was a relationship between the variable technological readiness and academic achievement. Second, there was a psychological relationship between academic achievement. Third, there was relationship between technological and psychological readiness and academic achievement. La muestra utilizada fue de 23 jugadores de baloncesto con una edad de 16.30 (± .470) años. Más allá, se dividió la muestra en grupo experimental y control, realizándose un pretest y un postest para medir las capacidades de salto, velocidad, agilidad, dorsiflexión y fuerza de tren superior entre todos los jugadores. Igualmente, se realizó un análisis estadístico atendiendo a las variables: grupo, edad del jugador, demarcación del jugador y minutos jugados por partido. Por otra parte, el grupo experimental fue expuesto a una intervención física acorde a las demandas físicas del baloncesto, repartida en tres sesiones semanales de 40 minutos, haciendo un total de 24 sesiones. Dicha intervención se basó en ejercicios pliométricos, ejercicios de fuerza con peso libre, ejercicios de movilidad y ejercicios de coordinación y velocidad. Los principales resultados obtenidos mostraron mayores mejoras del grupo experimental en fuerza del tren superior y en dorsiflexión, al igual que ligeras mejoras en el resto de los test realizados, atendiendo a la comparación con el grupo control. A modo de conclusión, un programa de preparación física que responda a las necesidades físicas del baloncesto repercute en una mejora de las capacidades analizadas, siendo especialmente necesario una planificación más extensa para obtener mayores mejoras en estas capacidades físicas.\u0000Palabras Clave: Baloncesto; Capacidades físicas; Rendimiento deportivo; Condición física; Deportes de equipo.\u0000Abstract. The main objective of this research was to analyse the effect of a specific physical preparation intervention for U18 basketball players over a period of eight weeks. The sample used was 23 basketball players with an age of 16.30 (± .470) years. Further, the sample was divided into experimental and control groups, and a pretest and a posttest were performed to measure jumping, speed, agility, dorsiflexion and upper body strength among all players. Likewise, a statistical analysis was carried out according to the following variables: group, age of the player, player demarcation and minutes played per match. On the other hand, the experimental group was exposed to a physical intervention according to the physical demands of basketball, distributed in three weekly sessions of 40 minutes, making a total of 24 sessions. This intervention was based on plyometric exercises, strength exercises with free weights, mobility exercises and coordination and speed exercises. The main results obtained showed greater improvements in the experimental group in upper body strength and dorsiflexion, as well as slight improvements in the rest of the tests performed, compared to the control group. Ibáñez","doi":"10.47197/retos.v50.99333","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.47197/retos.v50.99333","url":null,"abstract":"The present study aimed to verify whether, in children of 10 years of age practicing athletics, a greater number of years of practice of this modality would correspond to higher values of motor competence (MC), as determined by the Motor Quotient (MQ) in the Körperkoordinationstest Für Kinder (KTK). The cross-sectional and descriptive study was conducted in an athletics club in Portugal. Thirty-two children were evaluated, 15 female (10.4±0.25 years of age, 2.5±0.92 years of practice) and 17 male (10.4±0.22 years of age, 2.2±1.1 years of practice). Although no significant differences were found between children with one or two years of athletics practice and children with three or four, a moderate positive correlation was found between the time of practice (TP) and MC in girls (ρ=0.543, p=0.036). Mean MC results were considerably higher (both sexes) than the generality of studies often reveal. Finally, there were no significant differences on MC of boys and girls. The present results allow us to speculate that athletics may have helped to fill some gaps in motor coordination so often observed in girls, and the time of practice may have been especially beneficial for this group. La muestra estuvo formada por 91 adolescentes canarios (49 chicas y 42 chicos) entre 16 y 18 años. Se les aplicó la batería Alpha-Fitness y el cuestionario de autoconcepto físico. Se hallaron puntuaciones peores en todos los componentes de CF en las chicas. Se encontraron diferencias en el autoconcepto físico en las dimensiones Habilidades deportivas (U=634,000; p=,002; r=0,51) y Atractivo físico (U=600,000; p=,001; r=0,49) a favor de los chicos y en el Autoconcepto general en las chicas. Existió relaciones positivas entre la capacidad aeróbica y fuerza explosiva de piernas con tres dimensiones del autoconcepto físico: Habilidades deportivas (HD), Condición física y Atractivo Físico (AF) solo en los chicos mientras que en las chicas se dieron entre el salto y HD y la dinamometría con el AF y el Autoconcepto físico general. Igualmente se evidenció una asociación inversa entre el salto y el Course Navette con la prueba de velocidad agilidad 4x10 y el %GC con el salto en ambos géneros. Los resultados muestran comportamientos diferentes de la CF y el autoconcepto físico entre chicos y chicas. Los hallazgos podrían servir de ayuda a los profesores de Educación Física en planificaciones futuras de cara a mejorar la CF y el autoconcepto físico con mayor incidencia en las chicas.\u0000Palabras clave: Autoconcepto físico, condición física, salud, composición corporal, adolescencia\u0000Abstract. The aim of this study was to analyze and compare the physical fitness (PF) and physical self-concept in teenager students and to verify possible associations between both variables based on gender. The sample consisted of 91 adolescents from the Canary Islands (49 girls and 42 boys) between 16 and 18 years old. The Alpha-Fitness battery and Self-Concept Questionnaire were applied. The girls scored worse in all the PF tests. Differences were found in physical self-concept in the dimensions Sports skills (U=634,000; p=.002; r=0.51) and Physical attractiveness (U=600,000; p=.001; r=0.49) in the boys and in general self-concept in the girls. There were positive relationships between aerobic capacity and explosive leg strength with three dimensions of physical self-concept: Sports Abilities (HD), Physical Condition and Physical Attractiveness (PA) only in boys while in girls they occurred between jumping and HD and the dynamometry with the AF and general physical self-concept. Likewise, an inverse association was found between jumping and Course Navette with the 4x10 speed-agility test and the %GC with jumping in both gender. The results show different behaviors of CF and physical self-concept between boys and girls.
