This type of driver, primarily composed of passive components and operational amplifiers, can only accept commands from the central controller of the FLME, with a simple hardware circuit-based fault diagnosis; thus, the safety of the FLME is compromised. To address these issues, the failure mechanisms of galvanometers and their impact on the safety of FLME are thoroughly analyzed first. Then, an adaptive limit protection method, a coil open circuit fault diagnosis, a communication timeout protection based on two handshakes, and a galvanometer control timeout protection are proposed, respectively, based on a digital driver platform, to supplement the deficiencies in the original fault diagnosis and protection system. This ensures the safety of the FLME. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed strategies is validated through experiments.</p>","PeriodicalId":52535,"journal":{"name":"Zhongguo yi liao qi xie za zhi = Chinese journal of medical instrumentation","volume":"48 3","pages":"323-329"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141307395","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Accurately predicting the remaining life of batteries can greatly improve the reliability of batteries, which is of great significance for portable medical devices. This article focuses on the high dependence of the BP neural network algorithm on initial weights and thresholds, as well as its tendency to fall into local minima. The Northern Goshawk Optimization (NGO) algorithm is used to optimize the BP neural network and to test the 18650 lithium battery data under different ambient temperatures (4, 24, 43°C) typical of medical equipment. However, during the acquisition process, PPG signals can generate motion artifacts due to inevitable coupling motion, which diminishes signal quality. In response to the challenge of real-time detection of motion artifacts in PPG signals, this study analyzed the generation and significant features of PPG signal interference. Seven features were extracted from the pulse interval data, and those exhibiting notable changes were filtered using the dual-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The real-time detection of motion artifacts in PPG signals was ultimately based on decision trees. In the experimental phase, PPG signal data from 20 college students were collected to formulate the experimental dataset. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves an average accuracy of (94.07±1.14)%, outperforming commonly used motion artifact detection algorithms in terms of accuracy and real-time performance.</p>","PeriodicalId":52535,"journal":{"name":"Zhongguo yi liao qi xie za zhi = Chinese journal of medical instrumentation","volume":"48 3","pages":"285-292"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141307376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, polysomnography (PSG) is the gold standard for diagnosing sleep disorders, necessitating multiple leads and requiring overnight monitoring in a sleep laboratory, which can be cumbersome for patients. Nevertheless, the performance of PSG has been enhanced through research on sleep disorder monitoring and sleep staging optimization. An alternative device is the home sleep apnea testing (HSAT), which enables patients to monitor their sleep at home. However, HSAT does not attain the same level of accuracy in sleep staging as PSG, rendering it inappropriate for screening individuals with asymptomatic or mild obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). The study suggests that establishing a Chinese sleep staging database and developing home sleep disorder monitoring devices that can serve as alternatives to PSG will represent a future development direction.</p>","PeriodicalId":52535,"journal":{"name":"Zhongguo yi liao qi xie za zhi = Chinese journal of medical instrumentation","volume":"48 3","pages":"306-311"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141307394","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Implantation of high-performance titanium alloy prosthesis is an effective method to treat bone defects. 3D printing technology can produce low-modulus titanium alloy implants with porous structures, providing a better solution to the above problems. This technology is convenient to design and has a huge advantage in making orthopedic implants. The article used electron beam melting in 3D printing technology to create two samples of Ti-6Al-4V prosthesis, including solid structural pelvic prosthesis and porous structural pelvic prosthesis. The mechanical properties of the prosthesis showed that the yield and tensile strengths of the rod tensile specimen were 894 MPa and 956 MPa, respectively, and the compressive modulus and compressive strength of the porous pelvic prosthesis were 55 GPa and 65.2 MPa, respectively. The results of the L929 cytotoxicity assay and the MC3T3-E1 cell adhesion assay demonstrated good biocompatibility of the prosthetic samples. New Zealand white rabbits were used to prepare the femoral joint cavity defect models and two pelvic prostheses were implanted. A microscopic CT scan 4 weeks after implantation showed that the bone defect caused by the drill had healed and that the porous structure of the pelvic prosthesis formed a new trabecular structure within the hole. In conclusion, the 3D printed Ti-6Al-4V pelvic prosthesis has excellent mechanical properties, biocompatibility, and the ability to promote new bone growth.</p>","PeriodicalId":52535,"journal":{"name":"Zhongguo yi liao qi xie za zhi = Chinese journal of medical instrumentation","volume":"48 3","pages":"257-263"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141307377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
