Predicting the students’ performance is considered as an important task in education sector and is of paramount importance as predicting the performance accurately may lead to great future of students by analyzing data properly. This article presents the review of 32 research articles which are from ACM, IEEE, Springer and Elsevier research database. This article analyzes these research articles based on number of research articles considered from research database, publication year, performance parameters, number of performance parameteres used by research articles, Data Mining Techniques, number of algorithms used by research articles, and dataset size. It is found that classification technique is used in EDM for analyzing students’ data and in classification technique, mostly employed algorithms are Random Forest, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Naïve Bays, Support Vector Machine and Knearest Neighbour. Generally the performance parameters such as accuracy, precision, recall and F-measures are used to decide the performance of the classification algorithms. This review article will be helpful to those researchers who are working in the EDM for predicting students’ performance for the dataset obtained from education sector. The advents in electronics and communication technologies have been offering inexpensive, more convenient and more functionality in a single device. The engineering students and teachers can access data and communicate with each other anytime, anywhere, on any device, and any data and network. The researcher has to implement new technology, new ideas, and innovations in the research area of wireless communication and wireless networks. In wireless and mobile communication, to develop these engineering laboratories into virtual labs and study materials in hand (within a Pocket). This research is focused on and related to engineering education research. The quasi-experimental design has been used in this research study to measure the effectiveness of mobile learning using video lessons in engineering education. The questionnaire is used to evaluate the effectiveness of mobile learning for undergraduate engineering students. The research focuses on the students’ reading skills such as concentration on the text, transforming information, perception of meaning in the content, reasoning, and retrieval of required information from text. The present research investigates the change in language abilities deduced from the reading in the context of delivery of reading units in English Proficiency course. The study was conducted during two academic semesters of first year engineering for the academic year 2021-22. The target group consists of four batches of twenty five students having Marathi as their mother-tongue. The study has been carried out with the help of a computer based language laboratory multimedia instructional tool having the standard functions in it. The Reading Skill units of the course were taught in the traditional classroom approach to the control group and the experimental group has received the same content in computer assisted language laboratory software tool that enhances teaching-learning experience. The analysis of study is based on the formation and implementation of assessment tests on a CG and an EG. The result analysis directs the researcher to conclude that the computer-aided language learning tools generate positive change in students’ perception, transcoding, reasoning, and information recalling abilities. Active participation of students in the classroom plays a significant role in the Outcome Based Education model. This paper explains the use of two active learning techniques viz. 1) Muddiest Point Technique 2) One Minute Paper for three courses taught to third year Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program. The Muddiest Point Technique was used for the course Computer Or i e n t e d Nume r i c a l Me t h o d s ( CONM ) by using Padlet as a tool to record the conceptual difficulties. One Minute Paper (OMP) was applied to the two courses, Analysis and Synthesis of Mechanisms (ASM) using traditional One Minute Paper and to another course namely Automation and Control Engineering (ACE) using goggle form. Students' responses to the survey questionnaire showed that implementation of these techniques improved overall understanding of the course content. There is a high demand for efficient use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education, especially to improve the quality of mathematics education. After COVID-19 lockdowns, ICT has become essential in the era of blended learning. Variations in pedagogy and assessments in mathematics are always challenging. Due to difficulties in learning mathematics, the need for innovative mathematical pedagogy is rising daily in online and blended learning environments. Through this paper, the authors attempt to provide more opportunities to mathematics teachers and students to learn through LMS. Through KJSCE-LMS (Moodle based LMS specially customized for students of K J Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE), Mumbai), the authors demonstrate the optimum use of innovative Teaching-Learning-Evaluation (TLE) techniques that can be easily practiced in online or blended mode of mathematics education. These technology-enhanced TLE methods were applied in the first year undergraduate engineering mathematics classroom in the urban part of India. To check the promethean ways to enhance pedagogical learning experiences by students, qualitative and quantitative surveys were conducted. Results of the survey reveal that teachers' systematic usage of KJSCE-LMS can make mathematics learning easy, effective and meaningful. 98% of the students agreed that the contents uploaded on LMS helped them to understand the concepts effectively. LMS can also help strengthen the learning process, motivate students, improve their learning outcomes, and positively impact their wholesome development. The sampling method used is cluster sampling. 185 enterprises were contacted for collecting data through the structured questionnaire, out of which 152 respondents from 79 companies have participated in the research study. To test the hypothesis, Partial least square based approach was adopted. WarpPLS version 8.0 was used for hypothesis testing. The research attempted to address the stigma in the minds of the employees, to accommodate transgenders at workplace. Results demonstrated that the co-worker and senior management support was influential in reducing the stigma of peers and helped in accommodating transgenders in the workplace. Therefore, the focus of the technical education system in the country is now on outcome-based education to ensure quality and excellence. In this changed scenario, the proficiencies and abilities expected of technical teachers need to be transformed to match the changed need of the stakeholders. This is even more relevant as teachers joining the technical education system will be serving the system for the next thirty to forty years and hence implementation OBE framework is of utmost importance for their preparedness to become effective change agents. The performance of the students in the examinations during the semester in each course is used to compute the level of attainment of the POs and PSOs through the mapping of questions to COs and COs to POs and PSOs. As the vision of the Institute clearly emphasizes on contribution to the society, HITAM students initiated an NGO “FOR A CAUSE (FAC)”, A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in the year 2017. The objective of this NGO is to feed and help needy by providing technical solutions to their problems and extend their support to the poor. Initially it was started as a club then it got recognised by the Government as an NGO. The curriculum of the Institution is designed in such a way that there are few courses where students would get motivated and encouraged to work and contribute to society in various ways. A team of students from multiple disciplines join their hands and identify societal needs. The team provides the technical solutions through their Engineering knowledge. It considered all five major parameters: Teaching, Learning & Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcome, Outreach and Inclusivity and Perception. Albeit the methodology has been publicly available, the participating institutions could not verify their scores for the ten sub-parameters (metric/combined metric) out of 17 even after the announcement of rankings every year. Of the ten, perception is one such parameter that carries 10% weight. The NIRF defines the functions for nine sub-parameters based on the data submitted by the participating institutions. Having done the extensive analysis in this work, it is found that there are quite a few cases where the function, representing the relationship between the data and score, is neither monotonically increasing nor decreasing. Hence, this paper compares the percentage change in average scores of the top 10, 25, 50 and 100, and bottom 10 and 50 ranked institutions on various parameters/sub-parameters to the extent possible and, in a few cases, reveals the nonlinear-multimodal function correlating the data and the scores.
