More specifically, we analyze how these aspects were affected by in four small Brazilian organizations that were attending to the industry 4.0. Methodology: To explore the relationship between the aspects of value and the industry 4.0/digital transformation, we conducted four case studies on small Brazilian enterprises. Our study is classified as being exploratory, with a cross-sectional perspective merged with a longitudinal approximation. Originality / relevance: The origin of digital transformation is present in the areas of engineering and computer science and, therefore, resulting in technical studies, while the perspectives of economic and business management are still little explored in academia. Results: The results demonstrate that all three aspects of value were affected by the industry 4.0, but with a greater level at the organizations classified as providers of digital technologies. Apart from that, we also identified that the organizations relied mainly on partnerships and organizational ecosystems to successfully address and overcome the changes created by Industry 4.0. Theoretical / methodological contributions: We used a combination of the literature stream related to business model and the literature stream related to value. Thus, we provide an extension to these two streams of literature. Thus, expanding our understanding about the relationship between value and the industry 4.0/digital transformation by validating which items were qualitatively identified in these four organizations.","PeriodicalId":51970,"journal":{"name":"Revista Gestao & Tecnologia-Journal of Management and Technology","volume":"143 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2021-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68423968","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study also sought to identify the main barriers to the internationalization and level of control required by Brazilian footwear firms into South American markets. Method/approach: It was conducted a qualitative research with a data collection composed by in-depth interviews with three experts in e-commerce and executives from three Brazilian footwear firms. These firms produce their own branded shoes by e-commerce operations in Brazil and are current exporters to Argentina, Chile and Colombia. Originality/Relevance: Despite of the significant growth of e-commerce in the recent years in South America, there is still a lack of research related to the topic with a specific focus for this region. Main results: The findings suggest that the similar logistics and telecommunication infrastructure, the related services, the electronic payment options and the South American consumer propensity regarding to Brazil shoes are external factors with influence on international operations by e-commerce. However, the discrepancies regarding local legislation are the main barriers for the internationalization of Brazilian footwear e-commerce. Theoretical contributions: Firms from emerging markets tend to internationalize e-commerce operations through low risk strategies, focusing only on marketing and sales activities. Managerial contributions: The need for a high level of control on the commercial activities and the brand management abroad are internal factors that can affect costs and pace of Brazilian footwear e-commerce internationalization.","PeriodicalId":51970,"journal":{"name":"Revista Gestao & Tecnologia-Journal of Management and Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68423117","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Three variables have been utilized to examine corporate governance i.e. size of board and independence of directors and institutional investors. The statistical population of this study comprises of 119 enterprises listed in Tehran Security and Exchange Organization TSEO within time interval (2010-16). E-view software was used for analysis of research hypotheses and the mixed data technique was adapted. The results of research analyses indicated that the variables of free cash flows and institutional investors caused increase and decrease in overinvestment respectively. Similarly, the findings derived from this study suggest that the variables of size and independence of directors were not significantly related to overinvestment in the company. Finally, further research investigations showed that there had no significant effect by variables of corporate governance, size of board of directors and independence of directors on relationship among free cash flows and overinvestment and only variable of corporate institutional investor could affect this relationship.","PeriodicalId":51970,"journal":{"name":"Revista Gestao & Tecnologia-Journal of Management and Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2019-11-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68422605","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this case we should answer this question that if the costumers’ attitude is the same as they face with price of products or they act differently? It is clear that in most cases, customers’ reaction is different as they face with price, so it is needed to separate the market and have flexibility in prices. Also there is something important which has main role in today’s markets which it is paying attention to customers’ needs and providing situations for saving time for reaching the goods. So this research is going to present a mathematical model for the issue of pricing of selling of technological products in a unit of chain store. The issue of queue and its parameters are a subject which lack of it is understandable is you are searching for location and pricing, in a way that they affect the selling’s effectiveness and efficiency. The entrance of this issue to the researches causes their closeness and lucrativeness in the real world. So in the present issue for increasing the lucrativeness, we consider this subject from the point of view of queue too. For this purpose, at first, a location finding mathematical model for pricing according to the way of branch pricing and in an exclusive market for technological products, presented in a stable situation, and for the purpose of expanding he model for unreal situations, and making them close to real situations, by the help of stable model of Mulvey in the unfix condition will be developed which on the base of library sources in literature of this subject, it is a new subject .","PeriodicalId":51970,"journal":{"name":"Revista Gestao & Tecnologia-Journal of Management and Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2019-11-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68422879","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
