Hunter-gatherers occupied the site discontinuously during the Early (Component 2) and Late Holocene (Component 4). A comparative analysis of the lithic assemblages assigned to these periods shows that although different in size, they are similar in artifact composition. Furthermore, the morpho-technological analysis suggests that the site was briefly and recurrently occupied, although discontinuously through time. The continuity in the composition of the lithic assemblages is interesting since both components represent different stages in the human peopling of Patagonia. We suggest that the location of CH1, near the Cerro Huenul obsidian quarry, coupled with the local absence of permanent water sources, may have conditioned this similar pattern of knapping activities and lithic discard at the site. Tradicionalmente, estos trabajos adscribieron las pinturas a una única cultura -La Aguadao período dentro del desarrollo cultural del noroeste argentino -período Medio o de Integración Regionaly les otorgaron una función mágicoreligiosa o ritual (De la Fuente, 1979; González, 1977; Segura, 1988). Recientes estudios han problematizado estas atribuciones uniformes señalando sus dificultades para dar cuenta de la heterogeneidad que caracteriza al arte rupestre de la zona, al mismo tiempo que destacaron la necesidad de indagar en los procesos históricos locales que produjeron, transformaron y se desarrollaron en estos paisajes (Gheco, 2017; Gordillo, Zuccarelli y Eguia, 2017; Quesada, Gastaldi y Granizo, 2012). Esta tesis se propone contribuir al conocimiento de dichos procesos, retomando los trabajos realizados en el sitio arqueológico de Oyola y tensionando algunas de las interpretaciones planteadas a partir de un nuevo caso de estudio: el abrigo Oyola 34, también conocido localmente como la “Cueva de los guanacos”.","PeriodicalId":51926,"journal":{"name":"Arqueologia","volume":"27 1","pages":"209-212"},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2021-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42015029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Egyptology studies originally focused on the Brazilian imperial family, and demonstrated the interest in Egyptian artifacts during times when artifact collecting activities were common and the 19th-century sciences were born. As a result, the first objects from Ancient Egypt arrived in Rio de Janeiro and were sent to the National Museum of Quinta da Boa Vista. Another center of study started at the University of São Paulo, as it is located in the city that was the Brazilian economic center, with the biggest investment in scientific research. We suggest that a genealogy of Brazilian Egyptology can be traced, departing from two pillars: Rio de Janeiro, with the National Museum, the Federal Fluminense University, and the University of São Paulo. From these researchers training centers, Egyptology spread to other regions in the country. Es por ello que en este trabajo hemos seleccionado una de estas estelas (CG 20098) y la hemos documentado, traducido, analizado y contextualizado. Así, este trabajo se fundamenta en el estudio de la estela CG 20098, la cual pertenece a un sujeto sin títulos ni cargo alguno, llamado Antymmer, que se encuentra representado junto a miembros de su familia y servidores. Su importancia radica en el hecho de que se trata de un sujeto perteneciente a uno de los nuevos sectores sociales intermedios que comienzan a emerger durante el Reino Medio. En este trabajo se analiza, también, el proceso de surgimiento de esos nuevos sectores sociales intermedios en Abidos a partir de la evidencia procedente de dicha estela y del material encontrado en el sitio.","PeriodicalId":51926,"journal":{"name":"Arqueologia","volume":"26 1","pages":"13-27"},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2020-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48403107","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A lo largo del recorrido histórico de estas colecciones en ambos organismos, se produjeron modificaciones, deterioros y restauraciones en los objetos que, junto a la importancia científica de este patrimonio, llevaron a plantear un proyecto de puesta en valor a través tanto de la investigación documental, bibliográfica y hemerográfica como de la investigación de la conservación de estos materiales.
