Multiple regression analysis is used to analyzed the data. Results indicated that Work Family Conflict and Workplace Spirituality predict OCB with value R2 = 40.2%, F (2.97), 32.652, P <0.01, in which 40.2% OCB predicted by WorkFamily Conflict and Workplace Spirituality, while 59.8% influenced by other factors . Result shows that, WFC negatively corelate with OCB and Workplace Spirituality shows greater correlation in predicting OCB in compare to WFC. Kindergarten teacher show highest OCB and workplace spirituality in compare to elementary and junior high school teachers. However, there is no significant different in term of WFC across demographic. Therefore, schools are expected to create policies and intervention programs that can reduce Work-Family Conflict and improve Workplace Spirituality to promote a better Organizational Citizenship Behavior among teachers.","PeriodicalId":519065,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Southeast Asia Psychology (SAPJ)","volume":"108 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141835594","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many things affect performance, but the most important factor in improving performance is training. This study aims to evaluate On the Job Training design implementation at PT YXZ and see how the variables in the OJT design contribute to improving employee performance. Sampling technique method is probability random sampling with the Slovin formula according to the number of employees of each unit. The population in this study were all permanent employees with a total of 1,665. Samples were taken from various positions and tenure. The number of samples obtained was 323 employees. The results of the validity and reliability test are known that the Cronbach’s Alpha value of each indicator is above 0.9 so it can be said that all indicators have a very good level of reliability. The Pearson Product Moment correlation value is above 0.8 so that the measuring instrument is considered valid. Based on the results of the frequency distribution, it was found that according to OJT, 70.51% respondents had been implemented quite well. The results of the simultaneous regression test resulted in a Pvalue = 0.000 (P< 0.05) which means that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The value of how much influence the overall indicator on the effectiveness of OJT is displayed in the regression model as follows, OJT Factor Value = 2,422 + 0.015 (total value of OJT Implementation items). The results of this study prove that the design model in OJT have a significant influence in to performance.","PeriodicalId":519065,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Southeast Asia Psychology (SAPJ)","volume":"13 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141835882","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been seen as a universal phenomenon that hinders people’s ability to accomplish their goals. Procrastination can be defined as lack or absence of self regulated performance and the behavioural tendency to delay what is necessary to reach a goal. It appears to be a troubling phenomenon and yet human beings have been procrastinating for centuries. University students are the backbone of society. They need to be aware of their procrastination attitude so that they could tackle the problem. Anxiety on the other hand is a negative feeling. Studies show that a relationship exists between procrastination and anxiety. However very few studies investigate procrastination and anxiety, especially among Psychology and Social Work students in the public university in Malaysia. In view of this, the objectives of this study are to examine: (1) the difference in procrastination by gender; (2) the difference in anxiety by gender; (3) the relationship between procrastination and anxiety. This study managed to get 304 samples for the objectives above. The difference of gender was tested by t-test; while the relationship between procrastination and anxiety was tested by correlation. The results of this study indicated that female students engaged more in major procrastination, whereas male students engaged more in moderate procrastination. However, there were no significant differences on procrastination and anxiety between gender. The finding also showed a significant relationship between procrastination and anxiety.","PeriodicalId":519065,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Southeast Asia Psychology (SAPJ)","volume":"36 S152","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141835258","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In dealing with these challenges, one of the factors that might predict youths’ academic success and psychological well-being is spiritual intelligence. Therefore, a study was conducted to examine the effects of spiritual intelligence on youths’ academic achievements and psychological well-being. Two hundred fifty youths from the Emmanuel Christian Fellowship group of Kanibungan village, Pitas took part in this study. A set of questionnaires, which consisted of four sections, were used to measures the youths’ demographic profiles, academic achievements, spiritual intelligence, and psychological well-being. The research hypotheses were analysed using the simple regression test. Results showed that spiritual intelligence can stand as a predictor for both academic achievements and psychological well-being. Spiritual intelligence can be explained for 40% of the variance on academic achievement (β=.64, F(1, 248) = 169.677, p < .05). In addition, spiritual intelligence explained 25% of the psychological well-being (β=.50 F(1, 248) = 84.656, k < .05). The results revealed that the higher a youth’s spiritual intelligence, such as when applying spiritual values when dealing with problems and adapting to new environments, the higher a student’s academic achievements and psychological well-being. The findings allow us to reflect on how, aside from the intelligence quotient, spiritual intelligence is important for youths’ academic success and psychological well-being. Instilling spiritual intelligence in youths may give them strength and faith when meeting the challenges of today’s world.","PeriodicalId":519065,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Southeast Asia Psychology (SAPJ)","volume":"114 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141835486","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

ASD is a developmental disorder that is marked by profound deficits in social, language, and cognitive abilities. The core features of ASD are areas in which difficulties can lead to feelings of frustration, confusion, anxiety or lack of control, resulting in behavioural responses. This article offers an overview of the literature, focusing on the effectiveness of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) which used to improve the relationship between parent-children and to reduce noncompliance behaviour in children with ASD. The PCIT is an empirically-supported treatment for conduct-disordered for young children aged two to seven that highlights on improving the quality of the relationship between parents and child and changing inappropriate pattern of parent-child interaction. Early relationships between parents and children have powerful impacts on children’s behaviour and emotional development. When parents are responsive and sensitive to child’s cues, they contribute to the coordinated back and forth of interaction with the child. This kind of interaction helps children develop self-sense and emotional regulation skills such as self control and self-calming. Furthermore, in order to help young children to develop lifelong motivation in their self, parents are encouraged to participate in everyday learning and playing activities. Therefore, identifying the most effective intervention parenting programmes for enhancing and rebuilding parent-child relationships through teaching parent the skills necessary for coping with noncompliance behaviour in young children with ASD is crucially important. Overall, the findings of this study demonstrate the potential of PCIT as an early intervention to improve the behavioural functional outcomes of preschool children with ASD.","PeriodicalId":519065,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Southeast Asia Psychology (SAPJ)","volume":"49 1‐2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141835720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
