Under this study, in order to analyse the financial performance of Companies, five standalone health insurance companies have selected. The secondary data has taken from reports of Insurance regulatory and Development Authority of India and official website of the companies, internet search, books, journals and articles. The study period is from 2016-2017 to 2022-23. This study is analytical in nature. Various statistical techniques like percentage, mean, annual growth rate etc. has been applied for analysis of data. Several key parameters such as claims incurred, premium earned, number of lives covered, number of policies, incurred claim ratio has been taken for study. The premium earned by standalone health insurance companies has shown significant increase over the years. This is the most important factor for other competitors in this segment. The number of offices of insurance companies is increasing year over year. But claim ratio is very less in the standalone health insurance service provider. Due to the fact that over 50% of the population lacks health insurance, there are numerous opportunities for the health insurance industry to grow its market share.","PeriodicalId":517878,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal on Advanced Engineering and Management (IRJAEM)","volume":"25 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141102824","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

(World Air Quality Report 2023). The growing urban sprawl and human-induced environmental activities have led to a decline in air quality. The Air Quality Index assesses the level of pollution in the air at a particular region. It is a fundamental right for individuals to be informed about the quality of the air they breathe for their well-being. This study aims to examine air pollution levels and trends across various geographical locations in India using data provided by the Central Pollution Control Board under the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change in India. The study focuses on analyzing the annual growth of pollutants such as SO2, NO2, PM10, and PM2.5 from 2016 to 2021, collected from monitoring stations in 28 states across 256 locations. The research evaluates the impact of different particulate matter concentrations and showcases the spatial variation of air pollutants between 2016 and 2021. Results indicate a significant decrease in air pollution levels during lockdown periods compared to pre-lockdown periods. On an average (over all cities), more than 24% decrease has been observed for all the AQI of the pollutants. Additionally, a comparative analysis reveals correlations between meteorological factors and air quality, showing that temperature, relative humidity, and wind speed are negatively correlated with AQI, while surface pressure is positively correlated. Temporal analysis was also conducted to examine the relationship between air pollutant concentrations and meteorological parameters.","PeriodicalId":517878,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal on Advanced Engineering and Management (IRJAEM)","volume":"56 18","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141103153","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Emotions play a fundamental role in shaping individual preferences, and leveraging facial expressions as a means of understanding user’s emotional states can significantly contribute to personalized music recommendations. Our proposed system begins by capturing real-time facial expressions using a webcam or analyzing static images. These facial expressions are then processed through a CNN-based emotion recognition model trained to classify emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger, and more. The CNN model extracts high-level features from facial images, enabling accurate emotion recognition. Using the detected emotional state as input, our system employs a recommendation algorithm tailored to the user's current emotional state to suggest relevant music or videos from YouTube.","PeriodicalId":517878,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal on Advanced Engineering and Management (IRJAEM)","volume":"123 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141125052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Coffee leaf rust, a widespread coffee disease and Arabica is susceptible to leaf rust. Disease incidence and severity depend on abiotic variables. Cloudy and constant South-West monsoon weather (June–September) promotes coffee leaf rust growth. In this five-model study, an Extra Tree and Gradient Boosting regression model predicted coffee crop output in Chikamagaluru, Karnataka, with the least error utilizing biotic and abiotic factors. We investigated additional tree, gradient boosting, RF, Decision Tree, and KNN models using biotic and abiotic predictors. Used the independent testing dataset's MSE, MAE, RMSE Root mean square errors, and R-squared errors to compare model performance. The extra tree (R²=0.98 kg/ha ˉ¹ and RMSE = 7.96 kg/ha ˉ¹) and gradient boosting (R²=0.96 kg/ha ˉ¹ and RMSE = 10.96 kg/ha ˉ¹) regression models used Group 1 and 2 characteristics as predictor variables and different parameter fine tuning functions to estimate coffee yield most accurately. Compared to the less precise probabilistic models utilized in this work, such as Random Forest, decision tree, and KNN models, shown in the results section. The optimum weather parameter for coffee production forecasts and biotic-CLR incidence data outperformed random forest, decision tree, and K-Nearest Neighbor models.","PeriodicalId":517878,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal on Advanced Engineering and Management (IRJAEM)","volume":"115 16","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141125523","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
