The academic supervision model is important because it can help nurses manage workload, improve skills and knowledge, and reduce stress levels. Effective supervision is expected to improve the quality of health services, job satisfaction, and have a positive impact on patients and the health system as a whole. This study aims to determine the influence of academic model supervision on the workload and stress of nurses in hospitals. This study uses a literature review method from research articles in the Scopus and Google Scholar databases published in 2014-2023 with the keywords \"Supervision\", \"Academic Model\", \"Nurse Workload\", and \"Nurse Stress\". Based on the analysis of 22 research articles, it was found that the supervision of the academic model had a positive impact on nurse performance, job satisfaction, work motivation, quality of nursing care, reduction of stress levels, and improvement of overall health service quality. Academic model supervision can help nurses improve skills and knowledge, improve services provided, develop professionalism, increase independence, improve nursing care, reduce workload, improve nurse performance, provide good emotional support, and continuous learning, and reduce the level of stress experienced by nurses. The implications of this research suggest that implementing academic model supervision in hospitals can lead to better nurse outcomes, including enhanced job satisfaction, reduced stress, and improved quality of care. Consequently, this can result in higher patient satisfaction and a more efficient and effective health care system overall.","PeriodicalId":517235,"journal":{"name":"Al Makki Health Informatics Journal","volume":"3 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141798140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This condition is sometimes referred to as pulmonary TB. Tuberculosis bacteria that invade the lungs cause respiratory problems, such as chronic cough and shortness of breath. TB patients usually also experience other symptoms, such as night sweats and fever. This study aims to provide an overview of the implementation of Nursing Care in patients with a medical diagnosis of Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) in the emergency room of Gunung Jati Hospital, Cirebon City. The method used is a case study approach. The subject in this case study was one patient diagnosed with Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) in the emergency room. The results showed nursing care management in patients diagnosed with Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB). The nursing problem is Ineffective Airway Cleansing, which is carried out by interventions, namely effective cough techniques; interventions are carried out when the patient has difficulty removing sputum, the results obtained at the time of assessment, the patient complains of shortness of breath, coughing and difficulty removing sputum. Before performing effective cough techniques, respiration was 28x/minute, and after performing effective cough techniques, respiration decreased to 25x/minute. This study implies non-pharmacological techniques, such as effective coughing techniques, can be essential in managing patients with pulmonary tuberculosis alongside pharmacological therapy. This study provides a valuable contribution to improving the understanding and practice of nursing care in Tuberculosis cases in the hospital environment, especially in the emergency room of Gunung Jati Hospital, Cirebon City.","PeriodicalId":517235,"journal":{"name":"Al Makki Health Informatics Journal","volume":"14 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141801997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This disease is often accompanied by discomfort or pain in the upper abdomen which can interfere with the patient's quality of life. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care in patients with dyspepsia diagnosis, especially in meeting the need for a sense of security and comfort through relaxation techniques. This study uses a qualitative method with a prospective case study approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation studies, which are then comprehensively analyzed. The results showed that after 2x24 hours of nursing treatment with relaxation therapy in patient \"S\" diagnosed with dyspepsia, a decrease in the pain scale was found from 4 to 2. This shows that relaxation techniques are effective in reducing pain and improving patient comfort. The study implies that the application of relaxation techniques can be one of the effective non-pharmacological interventions in pain management in dyspepsia patients. These findings can be used as a reference in nursing practice to improve the quality of care for patients with similar conditions.","PeriodicalId":517235,"journal":{"name":"Al Makki Health Informatics Journal","volume":"11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141801891","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sectio cesarean delivery is the process of giving birth surgically by making incisions in the mother's abdomen (laparotomy) and uterus (hysterotomy) to remove the baby. One of the effects of SC is post-SC pain, which is caused by an incision or tear in the tissue of the front abdominal wall. Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience that results from actual and potential tissue damage, regardless of the nature, pattern, or cause of the pain. This study aims to describe the disturbance of a sense of security and comfort due to pain in post-Sectio Caesarea patients at Sumber Kasih Cirebon Hospital. This study uses a case study method by applying nursing care to the patient Mrs. for assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the patient's comfort and pain disorders could be overcome, with the patient no longer complaining of pain and the pain scale reduced from 5 to 1. Thus, the patient's problem can be said to be resolved. The implications of this study indicate that appropriate nursing interventions can significantly reduce post-sectio cesarean pain, thereby improving the quality of life of postoperative patients.","PeriodicalId":517235,"journal":{"name":"Al Makki Health Informatics Journal","volume":"45 24","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141800019","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study was to describe the identification of nursing care in patients with a medical diagnosis of hemorrhoids in the Kemuning room of Waled Hospital, Cirebon Regency. This research method is a qualitative descriptive research conducted at Waled Hospital. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and medical record documentation studies. The main focus of the research is on the nursing problems that arise, such as acute pain, and the interventions provided, such as relaxation techniques. The results showed that relaxation techniques are one of the effective interventions in reducing acute pain in patients with hemorrhoids. Before the intervention, patients often experience pain with a scale level of 5, which is shown by grimacing expressions. However, after doing relaxation therapy, the patient's pain scale decreased to 3, and the patient's expression seemed calmer. This study implies that non-pharmacological techniques such as relaxation can be a practical companion to pharmacological therapy in pain management in hemorrhoidal patients. Emphasis on holistic and individualized nursing care is essential in improving the quality of care for patients with this medical condition.","PeriodicalId":517235,"journal":{"name":"Al Makki Health Informatics Journal","volume":"48 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141803843","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This comprehensive study sought to assess the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in the treatment of COVID-19-related OD, which included anosmia, hyposmia, and parosmia. Aim : This study examined the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), an autologous blood product with elevated growth factors, in treating COVID-19-related olfactory dynsfunction. Methods: By comparing itself to the standards set by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) 2020, this study was able to show that it met all of the requirements. So, the experts were able to make sure that the study was as up-to-date as it was possible to be. For this search approach, publications that came out between 2014 and 2024 were taken into account. Several different online reference sources, like Pubmed and SCIENCE DIRECT, were used to do this. It was decided not to take into account review pieces, works that had already been published, or works that were only half done. Result:In the PubMed database, the results of our search brought up 9 articles, whereas the results of our search on SCIENCE DIRECT brought up 108 articles. The results of the search conducted for the last year of 2014 yielded a total 17 articles for PubMed and 16 articles for SCIENCE DIRECT. In the end, we compiled a total of 5 papers, 4 of which came from PubMed and 2 of which came from SCIENCE DIRECT. We included five research that met the criteria. Conclusion: In summary, injecting PRP directly into the olfactory cleft of individuals with post-COVID COD is a successful and simple treatment. We believe that the therapeutic efficacy of PRP injection may vary depending on the time of OD or with repeated doses. Further randomized controlled studies are needed to confirm these findings and explore the long-term impact of this innovative technique.","PeriodicalId":517235,"journal":{"name":"Al Makki Health Informatics Journal","volume":" 17","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140211607","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
