Mincheva","doi":"10.18421/tem131-73","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18421/tem131-73","url":null,"abstract":"The article discusses a fundamental problem in the shipbuilding industry related to the repair of critical and expensive components directly related to the operation of ships in the global fleet. Methodology and technology for repair by welding of workpieces made of 40X steel have been developed and applied. Hardfacing electrodes of the brands OK 83.28 and OK 61.20 were used. The developed welding technologies include both buffered and non-buffered layers. For one of the specimens, preheating to a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius was performed, which proved to be optimal for the metal. The measured macro stresses are below the elastic limit of the examined metal. The measured residual stresses are insignificant at +62 MPa. The microhardness results show an increase in microhardness to about 450HV in the weld metal zone. Amongst possible techniques to treat some cancers is ablation, through the use of the irreversible electroporation (IRE) as one of the methods. Medical University of Varna is implementing a project on irreversible electroporation aiming to develop a hardware prototype. The first step is review of existing models and the development of an own model, which will be used in the device prototyping. To find the existing models, we reviewed articles related to electroporation models. Based on the literature review, we developed own model, where we used open-source software OpenEP and Embarcadero C++. The review of the available literature publications indicates that initial models employed a simplified cell structure. Despite this simplicity, these models effectively reflected important characteristics of the cell behaviour and the interdependencies between field features and cells. Recent investigations created better models and optimized parameters for specific cases. The review models were used in the development of dedicated software application for simulation, visualization, and educational purposes in the field of IRE. Developed software application allows investigation of various IRE protocols. Experimental investigation of implemented models and software is undergoing. Albaker, Hussein Jumma Jabir","doi":"10.18421/tem131-79","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18421/tem131-79","url":null,"abstract":"To ensure a rapid and consistent design of Photovoltaic (PV) modules, the presence of an effective simulator is essential for assessing the behaviour of the PV cell when subjected to rapid or partial changes in temperature, irradiance, and parasitic resistance. The prevailing approach for modelling involves utilizing an equivalent circuit that encapsulates both nonlinear and linear mechanisms. The study introduces an eleven-parameter quartic model for the simulation and modelling of a PV unit. The model takes into account the equivalent circuit constraints of the PV cell and validated by solving the non-linear voltage equation. The examination concentrates on three pivotal junctures: open circuit, maximum power point, and short circuit. These key points are crucial for comprehending the operational characteristics of the PV module in typical conditions. The proposed quadruple diode model has been demonstrated to outperform the lower-order diode models in terms of performance and accuracy. The fundamental goal of the paper is to determine the most common forms of funding sources used by entrepreneurs classified as SMEs, as well as the advantages and disadvantages that each financing model brings. The article pays special attention to financing methods that are less known to the average Croatian entrepreneur, such as peer-to-peer lending, initial coin offering, and security token offering. Unlike the banking system, which serves as an indirect financial system, modern forms of financing allow SMEs to raise funds directly from borrowers. To obtain the most relevant information from practice, the article presents the results of conducted research on financing models for SMEs in Croatia, with a particular focus on the awareness of entrepreneurs about new and contemporary forms of financing. Research was carried out in the form of a survey questionnaire created using Google Forms. The sample for the research consisted of 145 SMEs companies, selected to represent the population from various sectors of activity according to the national categorization of activities, from which 14.48% responded to the survey questionnaire. Research showed a higher rate of awerenes and the utilization of traditional forms of financing compared to modern ones. However, it also indicates a certain readiness to embrace the latter. As part of the school activity, the access to anti-plagiarism software was made available to teachers and students. The current pandemic has forced the transition from classical classes to the use of the eLearning platform. In this paper the application of the methods of antiplagiarism verification to the distance teaching and the obtained results are described. Nowadays the above-mentioned methods that can provide the highest accuracy among the others are subject of interest. So, the mean square error usually serves as a measure of accuracy, which allows formulating a convenient, for mathematical transformations, quality criteria and synthesizing the algorithms. The traditional estimation algorithms have a multi-stage character, and they are based on the formation of optimal estimators for time and phase delays of the signals and their subsequent conversion to the source coordinates. An analysis of such an experiment is given by the method of processing photographs (video frames) by the parameter of image intensity. This method allows determining with high accuracy the angle of inclination of shock waves and subsequently identifies the contact points of the shock wave with the surface of the models.
