Extensive analyses evaluate the antenna's radiation characteristics, including gain, directivity, and beam-forming capabilities. Innovative design techniques achieve significant Butler matrix miniaturization without compromising performance, resulting in a compact final design measuring 23mm × 20.5mm. The integrated multi-beam antenna array demonstrates favorable outcomes, ensuring impedance matching at 50Ω, high gain, and four beams directed at angles of ±8º and ±33º. These results highlight the design's superiority over traditional counterparts, with gains of up to 11 dB. Detailed radiation patterns for all ports are presented. The paper also provides insights into the manufacturing process, materials used, and challenges faced. The results conclusively confirm the system's compliance with performance criteria, effectively operating within the 28 GHz frequency band. This research significantly contributes to downsizing antenna systems, facilitating more compact and efficient communication devices in the future.","PeriodicalId":515899,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal","volume":"3 5‐6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140424802","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Traffic violations are one of the causes of traffic accidents. Currently, traffic violation detection still uses conventional methods, involving the police to take action. Preliminary research on traffic violation detection by several researchers mostly uses the Yolo Method. The study aims to design a traffic violation detection system for two-wheeled vehicles using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). In this research, the CNN method was used with the Faster RCNN architecture. Faster R-CNN is composed of convolution layers, Relu, and pooling layers which are used to extract features from images. An image in the size of 3264 x 1836 pixels, with the type of marking violation and helmet use was used as a sample. The number of images used was 660 images with 600 images for training and 60 images for testing. The system will detect traffic violations on two-wheeled vehicles, namely helmet use violations and road marking violations. This traffic violation detection system for two-wheeled vehicles produces the highest accuracy, namely 85% with a maxpooling kernel size value of 1x1, stride 1 and a learning rate of 0.003. This research has the potential to be applied to areas that are less accessible to the police, because the system will record and analyze violations.","PeriodicalId":515899,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal","volume":"18 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140424926","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The goal of this paper is modeling respectively quantifying the effect of the death of business entities in Slovakia in 2019 and 2020 from selected factors using logistic regression. We decided to find out which of the selected factors (legal form of the enterprise; size group according to the average registered number of employees; region; economic activity performed by the enterprise) most influenced the death of enterprises in the period before and during the pandemic, which will allow us to determine the most and the least threatened categories of enterprises. The analysis was based on the business demography database, while the processing itself was carried out using the statistical tool SAS Enterprise Guide 7.1. The results of the analysis during the COVID-19 pandemic showed a significant impact of the factor legal form of the enterprise - mainly in the group of enterprises owned by natural persons, then a statistically significant impact of the factor size group of enterprise with an average registered number of employees 0-1 and finally a significant impact of the factor economic activity of the enterprise, mainly in the field of services. The smallest but statistically significant effect was manifested in the region factor, while the region in the east of Slovakia can be considered the most threatened from the point of view of the demise of enterprises. An interesting fact is that the influence of individual categories of factors on the closure of a enterprises in the case of micro-enterprises with one employee is very similar to the situation throughout Slovakia.","PeriodicalId":515899,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal","volume":"37 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140426109","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study provides specific ways in which mobile companies in developing countries can use 5G technology to benefit economically. This study utilizes a sensitivity option with a techno-economic analysis (TEA) simulation model to evaluate business options influencing successful 5G non-standalone (NSA) deployment in these markets, using Indonesia’s Bandung City as a case study. The analysis finds that Bandung requires 172 5G gNodeBs to meet traffic demand. Further, the 5G NSA deployment delivers strong key performance indicators (KPIs), with good signal synchronization received power (SS-RSRP) and signal-to-interference noise ratio (SS-SINR). Sensitivity analysis identifies the gNodeB amount as the most critical parameter impacting overall 5G NSA deployment feasibility. Overall, the analysis indicates mobile operators can recover investments after 3 years and 10 months, providing evidence for the viability of 5G NSA deployment in Bandung’s urban area.","PeriodicalId":515899,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal","volume":"288 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140427835","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To obtain the data a questionnaire survey on 432 primary and secondary school teachers was conducted to understand their sense of organizational justice, professional achievement, and work engagement. The research results found that (1) there is a significant positive correlation between organizational justice and teacher work engagement, with organizational justice also serving as a substantial predictor of this engagement level; (2) the sense of professional achievement is significantly positively correlated with the level of teacher work engagement, and it significantly predicts the level of teacher work engagement; and (3) organizational justice indirectly affects teachers' level of work engagement through the mediating effect of professional achievement. Research suggests two strategies to enhance primary and secondary school teachers' sense of organizational justice and professional achievement, thereby improving their work engagement levels.","PeriodicalId":515899,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal","volume":"61 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140427908","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the purpose of this study is to validate the Social Network addiction (SNA) scale in university students. The study is developed from a quantitative approach, of an exploratory and confirmatory type. The type of sampling is non-probabilistic by self-determination, and the participation of 200 students was achieved, to whom the reason for the survey was explained, who agreed to participate voluntarily. For data analysis, the instrument was validated according to Cronbach's alpha criteria and after, for the analysis, the SEM methodology was used. The most important findings show only the conformation of a two-factor model, which includes the seven most representative items, and which are feasible to analyze in this study group. The goodness-of-fit index (GFI) value is acceptable since it exceeds the theoretical threshold greater than 0.9 and the root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) is less than 0.05. The Tucker-Lewis index (TLI) and the norm adjustment index (NFI) are greater than 0.9. Based on the results, it can be concluded that students exhibit a strong desire for connectivity. Furthermore, they invest a significant amount of time in their online networks and experience uncertainty about how to occupy their when they are not connected.","PeriodicalId":515899,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal","volume":"15 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140425230","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data shows that poor bone quality promotes thoracic spine degenerative disc swelling and physiological anomalies. Implants in the form of pedicle screws, rods, and connectors are one of the measures for scoliosis correction. When the pedicle screws are taken out after some use poor bone quality remains. In this study, fixation strength analysis will be carried out through tensile testing of bone joints and pedicle screws with variations in bone quality. Two specimen materials were used for approach analysis: polylactic acid (PLA) and bovine backbone. Pedicle screws are classified into three types: cylindrical, conical with a single thread, and double cylindrical screws. Tensile testing revealed that PLA specimens with pedicle screw variants provided the maximum force of 7.4 N and 8.31 N with double screw cylindrical implants at PLA 70:30 and PLA 40:60. A comparison of PLA specimens with a series of cylindrical screws to double-screw cylindrical screws yielded a displacement increase of 79.6%, whereas conical screws yielded a displacement increase of 222.3%. Fixation with double-screw cylindrical screws greatly increases tensile strength. However, the conical pedicle screw model with connecting rods gives greater fixation strength.","PeriodicalId":515899,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal","volume":"19 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140425830","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, the excessive noise produced by road traffic is a highly topical issue. The study aimed to investigate the traffic noise values on a busy road in the town of Turzovka. In addition to comparing the measured results with the limit values, we conducted a questionnaire survey with fifty residents. The questionnaire surveyed the attitudes of fifty town residents towards traffic noise concerning their quality of life and health. Subsequently, we compared the questionnaire survey results with the measured noise values at a measured site on a busy road in Turzovka. The respondents' answers from the questionnaire survey confirmed that 68% of the respondents felt the impact of noise exposure on their health, which corresponded with the results of the accurate measurements. According to the measurements, the critical time zones were from 5:00 to 6:00 and from 16:00 to 17:00. The final part of the thesis consists of the proposed measures, whose implementation can decrease the potential high noise exposure and thus reduce the health risks associated with the noise issue.","PeriodicalId":515899,"journal":{"name":"TEM Journal","volume":"35 18","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140425922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
