Therefore, spatial modeling based on land change prediction is needed that can be used as a basis for directing spatial utilization control policies. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the pattern of land use change and analyze the direction of spatial use control strategies in Bogor Regency. The research was conducted in Bogor Regency. The analysis used ArcGIS 10.8 Overlay and IDRISI Selva Edition and ISM v. 2.3. The results of the analysis of land use change in between 1997 and 2010, 87.98% of land use remained unchanged, while 12.01% changed. From 2010 to 2023, 73.16% remained unchanged, and 26.84% changed. The predominant land change pattern was from Dry Land Agriculture to Dry Land Agriculture-Rice Fields, while the least common was Open Land to Dry Land Agriculture and back to Open Land. By 2036, expected increases include settlements, shrubs, and Open Land, with decreases anticipated in dryland agriculture, forests, and paddy fields. The alignment of land use with the RTRW spatial plan shows 58.68% aligned, 23.85% transitional, and 17.46% misaligned. It is recommended to maintain land use aligned with the spatial plan, utilize transitional areas, and revise the RTRW for areas that are permanently misaligned. Strategies to control spatial utilization include enhancing technical training, improving infrastructure, aligning staff with organizational needs, and refining spatial planning policies and dispute resolution.","PeriodicalId":515775,"journal":{"name":"Journal of World Science","volume":"25 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141807325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, adopting this technology is not always easy, especially for farmers in the digital immigrant group. This study aims to identify and examine the process of forming a communication identity of corn farmers in the digital immigrant group who accept innovations through digital peTani Apps. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach processed and analyzed using NVivo. The research applied Michael Hecht's Communication Theory of Identity (CTI) in farmers' interaction with new technology. The results showed that farmers' communication identity levels, including personal identity, enactment identity, relational identity, and communal identity, play a significant role in technology adoption. Personal identity resulted in the finding that many farmers felt insecure and inexperienced in using advanced technology, which led to discomfort in using the application. Enactment identity shows that peTani Apps' digital technology innovation has not become part of farmers' daily routine due to difficulties in navigation and understanding functions. Relational identity reveals that community support and social relationships are crucial in adoption. Communal identity reflects resistance to change in communities with strong traditional norms. Overall, the app has not been widely adopted by digital immigrant groups. Social, cultural, and economic factors influence the adoption rate of these technologies, so more targeted strategies and greater support are needed to encourage equitable adoption among farmers.","PeriodicalId":515775,"journal":{"name":"Journal of World Science","volume":"40 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141809812","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Weh Island, in particular, is noted for its significant potential in diving tourism. This study aims to empirically evaluate the impact of attraction, facilities, and accessibility on diving interest at Weh Island. The research targeted individuals with diving certifications, using purposive sampling to gather responses from 97 participants. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing SmartPLS software for analysis. The results indicate that attraction has a direct positive effect on diving interest, with a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05), suggesting that an increase in attraction leads to a 42.4% rise in visiting interest. Similarly, facilities also have a direct positive effect on diving interest, with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), implying that improved facilities result in a 35.3% increase in visiting interest. The implications of this study highlight the important role of attractions and facilities in increasing diving interest. This implies that improving these factors can significantly increase tourist interest in Weh Island. Stakeholders in the dive tourism sector should focus on improving attractions and facilities to increase this potential and attract more divers. Further research could explore the impact of accessibility and other factors on dive tourism to provide a more comprehensive understanding of tourist interest.\u0000 ","PeriodicalId":515775,"journal":{"name":"Journal of World Science","volume":"52 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141808999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main theories and concepts used are communication strategy, organizational communication, and persuasive communication. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, data collected through observation and interviews with employees involved in handling land boundary disputes. The results of this study found that the Lhokseumawe City Land Office uses a caucus process in its communication strategy in handling disputes, in contrast to the more commonly used direct mediation approach. The stages of dispute handling are in accordance with Hafied Cangara's five-step communication planning model. Analysis of the communication dimensions shows that internal communication occurs both vertically and horizontally through meetings, phone calls, and WhatsApp messages, involving reciprocal exchanges between leaders and employees and between employees. External communication involves the office acting as a facilitator during meetings. Persuasive techniques identified include integration, which involves negotiation, and fear induction, which highlights the potential consequences of unresolved disputes. The implications of this research underscore the importance of structured communication planning and strategy in effective dispute management. The findings suggest that other government agencies may benefit from adopting a similar approach. The use of effective persuasive techniques can improve the efficiency of dispute resolution.","PeriodicalId":515775,"journal":{"name":"Journal of World Science","volume":"57 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141807133","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is because endogenous estrogens have broad effects on the circulatory system, leading to the hypothesis that estrogens are cardiovascular protective, underlying their use as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to reduce the incidence of cardiovascular disease. However, large prospective clinical trials (HERS and WHI) do not support this. This review aims to better understand the cardiovascularoprotective effects of estrogen and answer the question of whether estrogen can be used as hormonal replacement therapy in post-menopausal women to prevent cardiovascular events by incorporating data from the most recent prospective clinical trial, the KEEPS study. HERS and WHI reported no reduction in cardiovascular events in postmenopausal women using HRT, even showing an increased risk of thromboembolism. This study was criticized because participants had been menopausal for 12 years, so the KEEPS study was conducted with participants within three years of menopause, with the result that there was no significant reduction in the progression of atherosclerosis between the HRT group and the placebo group. The KEEPS study states that HRT is safe, and no thromboembolic events were found. Although endogenous estrogen has cardiovascular protective effects, estrogen hormone therapy cannot reduce cardiovascular events in postmenopausal women despite metabolic improvements and beneficial effects such as improvement of postmenopausal-related symptoms, maintaining bone density, and improving sexual function.","PeriodicalId":515775,"journal":{"name":"Journal of World Science","volume":"1 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140362440","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to examine how tourist satisfaction can mediate ecotourism destination loyalty through perceived value, perceived safety, and destination image. There are 175 samples in this research, consisting of people who live in Palembang City and have gone to Punti Kayu at least once. Multiple regression analysis is used to analyze the data collected. The Sobel test is conducted as the path analysis to know the mediation effect. The results showed that perceived value, perceived safety, and destination image positively impact tourist satisfaction. Besides that, perceived value, destination image, and tourist satisfaction also positively influence destination loyalty, but perceived safety does not impact ecotourism destination loyalty. In the Sobel test, tourist satisfaction mediates the impact of perceived value, safety, and destination image toward tourist loyalty. The implications of this study highlight the importance of understanding and managing the factors that influence tourist loyalty in ecotourism destinations such as Punti Kayu. By knowing that traveler satisfaction mediates the relationship between perceived value, safety, and destination image with loyalty, destination managers and policy makers can design more effective strategies in improving visitor experience and promoting ecotourism sustainability. Thus, this study not only provides new insights into ecotourism destination management, but also provides a solid foundation for the development of better policies and marketing strategies in the future.","PeriodicalId":515775,"journal":{"name":"Journal of World Science","volume":"42 16","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140361918","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Increasing age is also a cause of pathological degenerative changes. Degenerative disease of the spine is a condition that many people complain about and requires appropriate and effective treatment. Degenerative disc disease is the most common cause of low back pain and disability worldwide, involving people of all ages and socioeconomic statuses. This study aims to explain and analyze the effectiveness of Mesenchymal Stem Cell therapy in treating Degenerative Disc Disease. The research method used is a case study where  Mesenchymal Stem Cell therapy offers the potential to modify the natural recovery of Degenerative Disc Disease using stem cell-based technology. Case studies were carried out at the Vinski Regenerative Center clinic, on several patients. And the results are that stem cells have the potential to be an ideal non-surgical treatment for low back pain and degenerative disc disease, because of their ability to differentiate into various connective tissue cells and their ability to restore damaged tissue and the results of case studies have proven to tend to improve the condition. However, long-term clinical studies are still needed, specifically focusing on the safety and efficacy of stem cell therapy in degenerative disc disease.","PeriodicalId":515775,"journal":{"name":"Journal of World Science","volume":"44 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140373573","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ground vibrations generated by tank movements have specific characteristics, where the produced frequency remains constant depending on the tank's weight and the area of the track's footprint. The amplitude of these vibrations provides information about the detection range, wherein the larger the amplitude, the closer the detection range to the tank. The method employed involves field experiments or the collection of quantitative data from field trials. Test results indicate that ground vibrations produced by tanks have an average frequency of 332 Hz, depending on the tank's weight and the area of the track's footprint. The average amplitude is 4.3 volts at a detection range of 1000 meters, 5.1 volts at 500 meters, 7.6 volts at 200 meters, 8.8 volts at 100 meters, and 12.1 volts at 50 meters. The implication of this research is that seismic sensors can be effectively used as tools to detect tank or military vehicle movements at different distances. These findings could be beneficial in the development of security systems or early detection in areas vulnerable to potential threats from tanks or military vehicles.","PeriodicalId":515775,"journal":{"name":"Journal of World Science","volume":"11 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140409831","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It employs a quantitative method, with 201 respondents particularly from the culinary sector of North Sulawesi Province, focusing on Manado City. Sampling was conducted through an online questionnaire using Google Forms distributed via social media. The research applies the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with modifications, incorporating perceived risk and social influence variables. Convenience sampling was utilized, and data was analyzed using SEM-PLS software. The findings demonstrate that all constructs tested—perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived risk, and social influence—can influence attitudes in encouraging MSMEs to adopt digital payment methods in their businesses. The implications of this research suggest that awareness of the importance of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived risk, and social influence in adopting digital payments can help MSMEs increase acceptance and usage of digital payment methods in their business operations. Therefore, development and promotional strategies focusing on strengthening these factors could be key in accelerating digital payment adoption by MSMEs. Additionally, stakeholders, including the government and industry players, can utilize these findings as a basis for developing policies and support programs aimed at expanding digital payment penetration in the MSME sector.","PeriodicalId":515775,"journal":{"name":"Journal of World Science","volume":"19 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140412938","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
