The methodology has been successfully tested in 2023 and proves to be relevant.  Despite the digital transformation, particularly affecting the development of sales channels and the move to digital, branch networks continue to play a significant role in business. Classic sales channels and the branch network solve a multitude of problems. The success of the sales and service model depends on several factors, and a successful combination of all elements allows to develop and manage sales and service in the long term. The proposed methodology enables you to cost-effectively identify the current state, key challenges and growth opportunities of your sales and service system to optimize your operating model. The proposed methodology includes surveys of top managers, directors and branch employees, analysis of internal audit results and sales results, as well as an SMS survey of employees. The results obtained reveal the main problems that directly or indirectly influence sales results and service quality. On the basis of these data, we make recommendations to optimize the sales and service system and develop an action plan to improve sales and customer service quality.","PeriodicalId":51498,"journal":{"name":"Jasss-The Journal of Artificial Societies and Social Simulation","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":4.2,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81012422","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The idea behind IET is to center educational processes around the unique abilities, interests, and needs of each student. This article discusses some facts from the history of IET, its principles and prospects for Russian education, as well as problems associated with its implementation in education practice and possible ways to overcome them. In modern society, where the speed of change and technological development is constantly increasing, it is critical to consider the individual needs of each student. IET is an effective tool that can qualitatively improve the efficiency of education in modern conditions and help students develop comprehensively. However, the implementation of IET in education practice is accompanied by certain risks. One of them is the possibility for students to choose only those subjects that interest them, which can lead to a lack of necessary knowledge and skills. Another risk is the possibility of forming scattered knowledge that will not meet systemic requirements and will not be interconnected. Nevertheless, IET is undoubtedly a promising concept that can give impetus to innovative changes in education.","PeriodicalId":51498,"journal":{"name":"Jasss-The Journal of Artificial Societies and Social Simulation","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":4.2,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83191112","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Projects such as Second Life, Decentraland, The Sandbox, and others promote a new form of human existence and communication as an alternative to meeting basic human needs for live, contact, and freedom of movement. Leading technology companies are included in the development of metaverse of various purposes. It is assumed that the development of immersive technologies will make the presence in the metaverse approximate in feeling to real life and most of the social activity associated primarily with work and entertainment will flow into its virtual space. It is likely that the developers of the metaverse will agree on the use of a single blockchain protocol (a set of rules and actions in the network) that ensures uninterrupted data transfer, their complete safety and transparency. This, in turn, will lead to the emergence of unified digital property and its distribution in the Internet space Web 3.0 and 4.0. The basic principles of metaverse construction are used by the military departments of leading countries to organize a network in which the interaction of types and types of troops is tested through appropriate simulators, taking into account the implementation of the skills of military specialists connected to it. At the same time, the steady interest of the military in game simulations has been preserved since the mid-1980s. The potential of such a metaverse of virtual worlds has already been realized in military activities in the preparation of calculations of weapons, military and special equipment. The capabilities of this technology for military affairs go beyond the exclusively educational resource and are able to change the content of future military conflicts. Extended reality (XR) interfaces, which will be improved during the creation of metaverse, will subsequently become an integral part of armed struggle.","PeriodicalId":51498,"journal":{"name":"Jasss-The Journal of Artificial Societies and Social Simulation","volume":"59 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":4.2,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84486053","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To develop plans for adapting to current challenges, achieving the goals of fiscal stability and improving economic performance, transformations in the field of budget processes, the implementation of an effective fiscal policy, and a rethinking of the principles of fiscal federalism are necessary. Achieving this goals predetermines the need to use flexible budget analysis tools, such as agent-based modeling, which allows to reproduce the multi-level structure of the country's economy and budget system, as well as simulate complex budget processes. The article presents an overview of agent-based models developed by foreign and Russian researchers that reproduce various aspects of budgetary processes. The analysis of the architecture of models was carried out and the conceptual ideas of building models in accordance with the types of agents, their behavioral algorithms, as well as the goals of simulation modeling were considered. The expediency and efficiency of using the agent-based approach for modeling complex budgetary processes is substantiated. The analysis carried out in the article allows us to conclude that the agent-based simulation approach is successfully used for the following purposes: testing variable strategies for reforming budgetary processes, predicting the consequences of implementing fiscal policy, choosing the optimal strategy aimed at achieving budgetary self-sufficiency of the regions, as well as creating tools for assessing the effective allocation of budgetary funds to achieve target variables. The results of the study are proposed to be used for agent-based modeling of sanctions effects and search for strategies for reforming the fiscal system in order to counter the financial and economic crisis.","PeriodicalId":51498,"journal":{"name":"Jasss-The Journal of Artificial Societies and Social Simulation","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":4.2,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91102560","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Kogler, Georg Jäger","doi":"10.18564/jasss.5136","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18564/jasss.5136","url":null,"abstract":": Humans heavily depend on communication. We constantly share new ideas, catch up on current news, and exchange gossip. Much of the information conveyed in this way is, however, not first-hand. As a result, we run the risk of being misinformed and of spreading potentially harmful messages via large social networks. Current research argues that we are endowed with a set of cognitive mechanisms capable of targeting such risks. These mechanisms, known as mechanisms of epistemic vigilance, help us evaluate communicated information by i) critically evaluating presented arguments, ii) checking the plausibility of messages against pre-existing background beliefs, and iii) assessing the competence of a sender based on cues of trustworthiness. So far, the mechanisms exist only as verbal theory, which do not allow a thorough systemic analysis of the interplay between them. In this paper, we implement an agent-based computational model of epistemic vigilance to add to the existing microscopic (individual level) and macroscopic (societal level) understanding of the mechanisms. Through simulations of different multi-agent societies we are able to show that the mechanisms of epistemic vigilance are sufficient to explain a wide variety of phenomena: (a) The locality of critics in social groups is a deciding factor when it comes to quickly correcting false messages. (b) Plausibility checking can create impeding group structures that exclude other agents from receiving surrounding information. (c) Im-peding group structures can be overcome through competence checking. (d) And on a societal level, increasing the proportion of agents performing plausibility checks, creates an abrupt shift from consensus to polarization.","PeriodicalId":51498,"journal":{"name":"Jasss-The Journal of Artificial Societies and Social Simulation","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":4.2,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67492927","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
