Method: reflexive study, considering the methodological framework of Im and Meleis and the possibilities of its incorporation into Brazilian nursing for the development of situation specific theories. Results: the following topics are presented: Integrative approach: possibilities to develop situations specific theories; and, Usefulness of the development of situation specific theories from the integrative approach. The reflection is based on the experience of using the methodological framework for the development of situation specific theories, in addition to discussing the potentialities the framework has regarding the construction of theories that guide nursing care in particular contexts. Conclusion: the integrative approach is underused in the Brazilian context of theory production, despite being a nursing reference. Method a scoping review supported by the recommendations of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews: Checklist and Explanation, and by the assumptions of the Joanna Briggs Institute Reviews’ manual method. The search was carried out in November 2021 in 13 databases, totaling nine studies in the final sample, which were then analyzed using Thematic Analysis. Results two categories were developed: steps and components for operationalizing a synchronous and observational telesimulation design; and challenges to implement synchronous and observational telesimulation. Conclusion operationalizing a synchronous and observational telesimulation has been supported by a six-step instructional design, characterized by planning, preparation, participation, teledebriefing, learner assessment/feedback collection and additional learning, capable of developing the students’ cognitive and affective skills. Method: a systematic review, carried out from the PEOT strategy: what are the effects of aromatherapy in reducing anxiety symptoms in women undergoing treatment for breast cancer? The research was conducted in six databases and in eight other data sources. Randomized clinical trials without date and language restrictions were included. Results: the sample consisted of seven studies. Aromatherapy was applied by inhalation (57.1%) and massage (42.8%), and was adopted alone or in conjunction with other interventions, demonstrating a reduction in anxiety symptoms in 71.4% of studies. The predominance of lavender, bergamot, frankincense and sandalwood essential oils is highlighted for their anxiolytic, relaxing, sedative, invigorating, antidepressant and muscle tension reducing effects. Method: an experience report on the implementation, which took place in two stages: Preparation; and Implementation/Change, both requiring a sequence of steps. Results: the implementation was performed in four cycles of the PDSA improvement tool. All had the same indicator collected, with increasing goals to be attained. Considering the barriers identified, multiple combined Knowledge Translation strategies were used, namely: posters; theoretical and practical training sessions, individual or in group; videos; dynamics; music; logo development for implementation visibility; audit and feedback; and didactic and illustrated clinical protocols. Conclusion: the report of the entire implementation process using the Evidence-based Practice for Improving Quality intervention, pointing out its weaknesses and strengths, proves to be useful, necessary and innovative. Method: this is a theoretical-reflexive study on the data extraction from reviews with meta-anaylses. To design the process of searching for qualitative studies, this study briefly addresses the sequential steps of Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses and the Joanna Briggs Institute. The extraction, analysis and codification process were carried out following the assumptions of grounded theory, with the Straussian perspective. They are the theoretical-methodological bases in the first stages of the guidelines of the literature review and Meta-analyses guides, starting with the research question until reaching the review stages, divided into identification, selection, eligibility, and inclusion. Results: the results describe the process of data extraction, analysis and codification from the Straussian perspective, using comparative analysis of data, memoranda, diagrams and possibilities of new sample groups from the detailed analytical reading of the included studies. Finally, theoretical saturation is performed, with an analysis of the findings, with examples of categories and subcategories, the emergence of the central phenomenon and presentation of the paradigmatic model. Método: Pesquisa-ação conduzida, entre setembro/2021 e janeiro/2022, com enfermeiras de uma maternidade de risco habitual do Sul do Brasil. Os dados coletados, por meio de grupos focais, foram submetidos à análise de conteúdo. Resultados: Os dados organizados e analisados resultaram em duas categorias temáticas, quais sejam: Processo de enfermagem: dispositivo indutor de autorreflexão e autocrítica; e Processo de enfermagem: ferramenta (re) significadora do cuidado ao recém-nascido. Demonstra-se, em síntese, que o processo de enfermagem é impulsionador de melhores práticas no contexto da enfermagem obstétrica e neonatal. Método estudo ecológico com 2.509 óbitos por HIV/Aids de nordestinos de 10 a 24 anos notificados no Sistema de Informação sobre Mortalidade. Empregou-se técnicas de análise temporal (Joinpoint) e de detecção de aglomerados espaciais (Autocorrelação espacial, Gets-Ord Gi* e varredura Scan). Empregou-se três modelos de regressão espacial (Spatial Error and Spatial Lag) e não espacial (Ordinary Least Squares-OLS) para identificação dos fatores associados à mortalidade nos municípios nordestinos, considerando-se p<0,05. Resultados a taxa de mortalidade por HIV/Aids entre jovens no Nordeste foi de 0,4 óbitos por 100.000 habitantes. Maranhão (APC:7,1; IC95%:2,3-12,1), Sergipe (APC:6,9; IC95%:1,8-12,2), Rio Grande do Norte (APC:6,4; IC95%:1,8-11,2), Ceará (APC:4,2; IC95%:1,5-7,0) e Alagoas (APC:3,2; IC95%:0,1-6,4) apresentaram tendência crescente significativa de mortes. As técnicas de detecção de clusters apontaram aglomerados de óbitos principalmente no litoral de Pernambuco e Centro-Norte maranhense. Os indicadores proporção da população em domicílios com densidade >2 (β=0,012; p<0,001) e transferência per capita do benefício de prestação continuada (β=0,000; p<0,001) apresentaram relação positiva com o desfecho. Em contrapartida, a proporção de pessoas extremamente pobres (β=-0,011; p=0,029) e o Índice Brasileiro de Privação (β=-0,195; p=0,009) apresentaram associação negativa com a mortalidade. Conclusão houve tendência de aumento da mortalidade em cinco dos nove estados nordestinos. Os clusters espaciais estiveram localizados, majoritariamente, no Pernambuco e Centro-norte maranhense. Método: estudo quantitativo, transversal, realizado com 101 enfermeiros atuantes em hospitais universitários entre março e maio de 2022, por meio de questões sociolaborais, implicações éticas que levam ao sofrimento moral e do Ethical Problems Experienced By Nurses In Emergency Questionnaire adaptado e validado para brasileiros. Empregou-se estatística descritiva, ANOVA, Qui-quadrado de Pearson e regressão linear múltipla, e adotou-se p<0,05. Resultados: os 09 elementos atribuídos às implicações éticas foram classificados com algum grau de importância para o sofrimento moral, apresentando maior média nos seguintes itens: sinto compromisso, responsabilidade e obrigação moral em prestar cuidados à população infectada (4,26) e possuo conhecimento ou experiência para atuar na linha de frente à COVID-19 (3,44). A associação do sofrimento moral aos problemas éticos demonstrou que os indivíduos que atribuíram alta importância às implicações éticas também apresentavam problemas éticos em nível moderado/alto, ressaltando maior média nas questões de “cuidado ao paciente” (4,07). Evidenciou-se que o sofrimento moral dos participantes foi mais afetado pelos seguintes construtos: “percepção das medidas hospitalares contra a COVID-19” (p=,000), “problemas éticos no atendimento a pacientes” (p=,000) e “percepção da estigmatização social” (p=,000). Parreira, Rafael Ceolato da Silva","doi":"10.1590/1980-265x-tce-2022-0302pt","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1590/1980-265x-tce-2022-0302pt","url":null,"abstract":"RESUMO Objetivo: elaborar, com base na avaliação da prática do flushing da equipe de enfermagem, um protótipo de tecnologia de cuidado voltado a promover as boas práticas na manutenção dos cateteres intravenosos em terapia intensiva. Método: estudo de elaboração de tecnologia, desenvolvido em três etapas: avaliação da prática do flushing através de questionário preenchido por 108 profissionais de enfermagem atuantes na manutenção dos cateteres intravenosos em cenários de terapia intensiva de um hospital público localizado no município do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. A coleta de dados ocorreu de novembro de 2019 a janeiro de 2020, com análise descritiva e inferencial dos dados; análise dessa prática quanto à existência de erros segundo as principais diretrizes e evidências científicas, com classificação dos tipos de erros à luz do referencial conceitual da segurança do paciente; e elaboração do protótipo da tecnologia. Resultados: 88% dos participantes realizam o flushing na sua prática; 49,5% aplicam a técnica de pressão contínua no êmbolo da seringa; 22% realizam o flushing antes, entre e após a administração de medicamentos; predomínio da utilização do volume e de seringas com calibres de 5 ml e 10 ml. Variáveis relacionadas ao conhecimento associaram-se à não realização do flushing. Houve erros ativos e latentes que orientaram a construção do protótipo da tecnologia.
